Why has Mcvities stopped selling coconut and macaroon hobnobs

They have no real coconut in them! This was so disappointing as I was hoping for toasty coconut bits mixed into the Hobnob mixture. It’s just a coconut “flavouring”, which is nice enough but does taste a little fake .

They state on the packaging “No macaroons were munched in the making of this product” which is a bit of an odd boast. McVities would stop using flavourings, and start adding some extra ingredients to their new flavors.
