There are two motives for reading a book: one, that you enjoy it; the other that you can boast about it. - Bertrand Russell Marriage and morals fits just right in the perspective of this quote from the author himself. - Why should one read this book? If questions like the ones below bother you, then you must read this book. Is it normal to have feelings for other females even if you are in a relationship? What is after all marriage all about? Is it the clash of the titans / legal word for slavery / a lifetime pass for free sex / road to riches... What's wrong in having sex with prostitutes? How should one treat the subject of sex with children? What's wrong with conventional morality? Why do religion and its keepers hate the word sex? What is the big deal with sex? Is virginity a virtue? - Who should read this book? I think this book is a must read for people - getting into a relationship / in a relationship - thinking about getting married / are about to get married - have been married and are still struggling to find out what they are supposed to do in it or about it Russell has answered all these questions and many more. The list is really big.

The book is a typical Russell style. He has examined, analyzed and provided the reader with a platform to think about the issues related to marriage, sex and conventional morals.

If you are one of the conventional, orthodox or religious human I would advice not to read this book. It might just shake the foundations of your beliefs...
