My name is Ram Mathur and employed with Shell India Chennai. As me and my wife were searching for schools we heard of Manthan Vidyashram Kottivakkam and admitted our kids Priyakrit and Sriya. What was good was the individual attention that the teachers gave. My kids studied from kindergarten to 8th grade when i had to move to Bangalore. Right from Swaminathan sir to Geetha madam who is the principal and to Shobana madam all of them have laid the foundation with a strong circullum which have helped my kids a great deal thank you Manthan and i urge parents to not look beyond Manthan for the schools ethics, standard, discipline and sincerity. Which school will return the deposit despite being on the growing stage and never shied from returning the money. Salute for everything.

Festival program conducted by each Class children is really an awesome job. Which gives the childrena great platform to project their different kinds of talents and help them to have a social growth. This Festival program is a project / responsible task/ which helps them to achievetheir goals easily in their life. It makes the childrenvery responsible and help to learn time management too. So overall Manthan Vidyashramis the only school which is giving a holisticeducation. I am very happy to make my children to study here. I have been a student of this school for what seems like aeons now. I began my journey in LKG and have now completed my 12th, thus, I believe my experience will be valuable for any parent wondering whether this school is worth it.

For those who prefer more concise answers - Yes, this school is worth it.

And for those who care not for brevity - This school teaches you the value of being a good human being and how to go about being one. This is one of the main pillars that hold up this school and one that I believe is most important. Teamwork, communication, altruism and many other virtues are celebrated by teachers and students alike.

Since there is a lot to go over, I shall break it down into parts for the sake of convenience.

1) Academics - This school's board may be dissimilar to many of the schools in the area but that does not make it bad per se, instead, it can be argued that it has a leg up on the other ones. It focuses more on understanding, applying and analysing information rather than the'Memorise - vomit on paper' method that many schools seem to endorse. Overall, it makes even the most detested subjects( Chemistry personally) vaguely interesting. I highly recommend it.

2) Staff - Other than the friends you make, this is easily the best thing about the school. The staff are extremely approachable and nice. Doubt clarification is facile and the staff are great at their job. They seem to be genuinely enjoying it.

3) Extracurricular - Sure, the ground could always be bigger and there could always be better equipment but does that detract from the experience? No. Absolutely not. The Games Period is always a blast and the most memorable part of school life. The inter-house competitions stir competitiveness in our hearts and Sports day sates our ambitious hunger for prizes.

Some may think I've been praising the school to the high heavens and yes, I indeed have for it is well deserved. My only gripe with this school is that human values are being taught via a thick veil of religion and spiritualism, but since this is a completely personal opinion that many disagree with, I have not deducted points in the review.

Overall, I highly recommend this school as it genuinely strives to improve your child's understanding. It is one where I have created many warm memories which I hope to look back at fondly.

MY daughter was studying from Pre KG here and she is in fourth now, as a parent, I was really satisfied with the school from day one. The way they taking care of every child are really adorable. The first thing I should say about the school is from administrative staff to teaching staff, principle everyone they know each and every child's name of their school, I was really wondered after seeing this for the first time .Second they give equal opportunities to all the childs whatever programs held in the school .They want all their childrens to be performed .Punctuality, neatness, communication are really appreciable and very important thing I should mention here they are not at all money minded they will understand parents burden, and they will act accordingly .

And finally coming to academics, they teach every concepts very clearly, the basics what they giving to their children is very strong .Teachers are so dedicative in what they are doing . To Say I dint even see or heard like this school which gives everything best what they doing, and I am so so proud to be a part of the manthan. And my daughter is blessed to study in Manthan. . All together holistic and divine education.

My daughter was beaten and was made to sit on the floor for a day.

I studied here. I was hit and told that if I said about it at home I would be expelled. dont join this school. many days I would come home with scars. we were made to run rounds in the hot sun. my friend had it he went home, he got sick and was rushed to the hospital. he told his parents about it. the parents complained to the school and the next day my frriend was scolded in front of the class. they would also tie some kids to benches with dupattas.

Manthan vidyashram in Kottivakkam, Chennai is dumping too much of home work activities even during weekdays for children irrespective of class. Children are exhausted and complaining of severe pain in their hands due to continuous writing even after school hours. Once they reach home they start their home work and keep working on it till they go to bed at night. They are both physically and mentally stressed becoz of this excess pressure. Everyday all the teachers taking class dump homework on the child resulting in the children to work on a minimum of 5 to 7 subjects a day. Children have lost their charming smile in their face altogether. There should be an end to this. Teachers and school management need to discuss on this and ensure not to harass the children anymore.

My son studying in this school from last three months I could see his progress much better than any corporate schools in Chennai. I was impressed with the way he picked up Hindi language and able to speak Hindi within three months. The school also stress more on English language and vocabulary aspects. If your kid very good on writing skills he/she should be able to complete homework on time. Over all it's a very good school.

I am a proud parent of manthan. My two children are Manthanites. My elder son has secured a seat in a prestigious Engineering college. My younger daughter is yet to complete her studies in Manthan. As a parent, we would say that the school does a great and sincere service in the field of education. Concepts are not just delivered to complete the syllabus but taught through different methodology to make the students in different levels, to imbibe concepts from their comfort level. Learning, writing, speaking, reading in all languages taught here is too good. When my children were in 1st std were able to read and write sentences in all three languages to greater extent. Learning is not done just for scoring marks but as pleasure. Manthan is a second home for my children. The teachers are doing a great job . I wish and pray that Manthan should grow to greater heights and make more leaders in years to come.?

Quality education, teachers, facilities, Admin staff makes it one of best institute to bring out the best out children.

Apart from the key focus on academics, diverse culture of India gets celebrated and all festivals gets celebrated with every class getting a chance to showcase their organisational capabilities representing the cultural background.

Has good facility with ample open space, play area, and ground to play cricket, koko, basketball and other games which enhances the positive sportsmanship in children.

Facilitates NSO, IMO, IEO, and Asset exams to bring the competitive advantages to the kid if interested.

I would highly recommend this school for working as well as learning . They stand to their motto holistic development. They care for every soul in this institution right from students to their employees. It’s more like a second family rather than an institution. Children build a good rapport with students which makes them feel like a home with motherly care. Being with Manthan is a blessing for all.

Manthan Vidyashram is an exceptional institution that truly prioritizes the holistic development of its students. From the moment one steps on to the campus, the warmth and dedication of the staff envisages a sense of comfort and solace. The academic syllabus is rigorous, yet engaging, providing students with a strong foundation while also fostering to critical thinking and creativity. Each day proves to be a colorful tapestry of academics and sports, while simultaneously venturing into art(music, crafts and drawing) as well. A true sense of pride and solace is evoked in students when talents in such arbitrary or'nontraditional' subjects are recognized. This leads me to my next point- Manthan has not once deviated from its virtue of committing to individualized attention. In other words, students are consistently reminded of how their actions could or rather would impact the future of India. Feeling a sense of belonging to something significant truly serves as an engine in the journey of self discovery. Confidence in students is hence a given merit. Manthan prides itself in overtly showcasing its love for sports. Considerable amount of time, each week, is allocated solely for games and sports. Manthan doesn't shy away from instilling a competitive spirit in each and every student when it comes to sports, whilst also encouraging leadership, and most importantly, teamwork. How Manthan manages to propel extracurriculars of a wide spectrum whilst still adhering to the discipline of completing academic requirements still remains a mystery. Manthan with its paramount safety and security, contemporary teaching techniques, and infrastructure would be worthy of no less than a five star rating. All this might spur one to think of my review as a bit of a stretch. I assure you, however, that Manthan family's dedication to serving the society would place students, or more aptly, children into good hands.

The school is best for gooming children with respect to academics / Cultural and discipline.

The children are taught to apply the knowledge practically and are tested on application based which are generally not given in other schools. The curriculam is also drafted taking into account best of CBSE books and additons are made wherever required.

There are specific classes on basic self reliance skills for children to make them independent (In terms of doing their own work themselves).Your commitment to excellence in education is evident, and I feel fortunate that my child is part of a learning environment that values both academic achievement and personal development. I commend the school’s efforts in providing a well-rounded education that goes beyond textbooks and encourages students to explore their potential in various fields.

Once again, I thank Manthan for their tireless efforts in creating a nurturing and enriching educational experience for the students. I am grateful for the positive impact the school has had on my child’s development. We are very happy that our child is part of the school and considering their commitment towards children's education.

Even during covid, the school managed to conduct 6 classes per day and managed to cover most of the on school activity. Some physical activity was also given to children during online classes.

Once again, we thank Manthan staff and the management for their tireless effort towards nurturing our child's education and furure. Jai hind.

Last but not the least, the fee charged is reasonable and no additional payments are expected once the term fees are paid.

We are so happy with the way my child is taken care of at Manthan that I recommend it to all those who are serious about growing a wise and knowledgeable child. Children here are not just taught lessons, they experience the spirit of patriotism, the gift of our culture and they learn the importance and usage of soft skills too. Even during UKG my daughter is able to construct sentences in English and have a continuous conversation with us and is very well capable of telling what all is right and what is wrong. She became more social after joining the school. Choosing this school, to me, is like choosing Apple over Microsoft. Apple exists to give better experience to the users while Microsoft wants to just beat Apple. Few schools like Manthan exist to brighten the life of kids rather than using them as means to increase their profits.
