Do not visit this Hospital
May 12, 2023 08:55 AM 285 Views (via Mobile)

Dr. Girish Rai who is an ENT in this Hospital is a typical money maker with no ethics or compassion.

In year 2009 he tried his best to do surgery on my ear but I took second Doctor's advice at Apollo who saved my ear without any surgery. The second Doctor first cured the root cause of ear infection , so that healing could begin. But Dr Girish Rai intentionally left the root cause open to make my condition worse.

Later I got to know that Dr Girish Rai is famous for messing up cases mercilessly just to make money for himself and his Hospital run under scamster Mallya family.

Not a great hospital and experience. ICU/CCU Staff including duty doctor sleep at night which is ridiculous and putting patients life at risk.

Consulted V.K. Srinivas. He has sugar in his mouth but a worst doctor. His main motto is to bill more, bill more and bill more. Only thing he does is to perform surgery irrespective of patients condition. In front of us we saw a patient who was put on Ventilator when it was clearly known that patient wont survive. The other hospitals had avoided any surgery looking at patient condition. But he wanted to do surgery which explains everything. Please avoid going to this doctor and Mallya hospital if you want to save your life and your dear ones

Admitted wife for hernia surgery
Aug 28, 2021 05:27 PM 2496 Views

My wife was diagnosed with hernia by Dr.Muni Reddy and he advised surgery. It was not emergency surgery and the doctor had plenty of time to plan the surgery. We were very reluctant for the surgery in view of my wife's age, but the doctor reassured that my wife will with stand the surgery . After surgery, My wife started complaining of very severe pain continuously for two days and nights and passed away on the third day. We never knew about her condition till the end. Dr.Muni reddy said initially that sepsis was the cause and later changed to intestinal ishemia. He tells me that I should understand that death is inevitable for every one.

God save the patients.

Dr. Saba Fathima - WORST DOCTOR EVER

We consulted this shitty Doctor seeking 2nd Trimester termination and she did her best so that we take her service, she said she will terminate the fetous through MTP (The pills will just cost you hardly 500 bucks) since the start we wanted to know how much the entire procedure will cost us but she made sure she wouldn't reveal untill I started checking it myself at the billing counter and I was in a biggest shock of my life when I got to know that the whole procedure would cost me around 80k I directly went to her and she started yelling at me saying if you can't afford you would have gone to any government hospital and started harassing me to clear the bill or else she will file a complaint against me at the police station.

Never ever go to her with your problems, the whole time she wasn't there and she has charged 23k just as her fees, even when I tried calling her when the patient was in severe pain she said "You can't call me on my phone, you will find any nurse there go seek their advice" why the hell should I pay 23k as your fees then??

DO Not RECOMMEND this hospital to anyone
Mar 07, 2021 12:57 AM 2161 Views (via Mobile)

When you got to a private hospital you expect certain standard and professionalism. But this place has none, they over charge you! The doctor was absent during the abortion procedure, it was the doctors job to administer the medicine to the patient, but she was absent the whole night after suggesting the patient to get admitted to the hospital. They tried to charge for the services they did not even provide. The nurse were very helpful they were the only ones responsible and helping. The doctor is very very unprofessional : DR. Sabha Fathima, please do read the doctors ethics code again so you can know the least on how to treat and behave around people!!!

This hospital needs to pay the nurses instead of the doctors since they are doing all the job.

Hospital with no hospitality!!

As a patient of this hospital I would like to share my personal experience.

This is the worst hospital I have ever visited and I've decided I would never visit this hospital again. My delivery was done there, most of the delivery's there are cesarian, yes you heard my right at least until I was visiting it there were almost 80% cesarian deliveries.

Fortunately I was saved but as the baby was premature was Kept in NICU. The care was just ridiculous they just left my baby alone in the NICU :( and now I came to know that they had given 2doses of BCG infection to my little one, just imagine 2doses how irresponsible are they? I would never recommend anyone to visit this hospital. Pls stay away it's safe for you and your loved ones.

Bigtime cheaters
Sep 15, 2017 12:54 AM 7780 Views (via Android App)

Hi, I had a bad experience which I wanted to share about Mallya hospital.

My brother was suffering from stomach ulcer and had gone to this hospital to get a scan. The doctors insisted to admit immediately to get a list of scanning done and created an urgency. certain scanning cost is very high. After having all the scanning done the doctors adviced that it was a cancer in pancreas. we were totally in shock. We adviced that we need to take a second opinion from other doctors and need the copy of the report. they were not ready to give. finally we made other doctor to view the reports via mobile and got to know that it was wrongly diagnosed. we escalated and spoke to the higher authority, then finally got the opinion reversed.

Guys, please don't trust this hospital blindly, they are bigtime cheaters.

Jun 20, 2017 01:31 PM 7936 Views

Beware of the radiology department in Mallaya Hospital, My grandmother was prescribed for MRI scan for her neck pain and she was not guided with basic safety instructions and was not provided with emergency bulb or panic button and even a personal attender was not allowed inside. After certain point during here MRI she panicked and there were no one the help here and this continued for almost 20 mins and she says if it was 5 more mins she would have collapsed; We were charged INR 11250 per MRI scan which in other hospitals it ranges in between 7K - 8K.

The charges are so high and they provide with cheap quality of digital thermometer to all the patients admitted and charge INR 250 which you can get it for lesser than INR 100, also the hospital cannot afford for a hand sanitizer and they have charged INR 360 for hand sanitizer for a single day;

Overall pathetic experience and not recommended

Mallya hospital

Like to share about my experience, it's not a worth hospital, it's located in virtal mallya road, and I see always busy patients. But when we had been there for treatment they waited us.

Doctors Seems like well educated, but not perfect in their service. We had here for migraine they tested so many xray, scan etc after a week they advised us to do some exercise with paying of high bill. And I see they don't give us any medicines all written outside and medicine they referred it's very costly.

Then we stopped and went some other hospital and get treated very Lesser than what we spent. With Mallya hospital not get any cure what we have been and advised to do some exercise after a week.

I don't recommend this hospital based on personnel experince but still decision is yours.

It say I have problems in several parts. I went to the other hospital for a pet CT. It did not show any of the bad response it said that I was totally fine. I went to other hospital to confirm if I was alright or no. The reports came well. So guys pls don't trust this hospital. I will never step into this hospital and the cost was also a little on a higher side. I hope this review was really helpful to you'll. Please rate my reviews. Thank you

The Verst hospital i have ever seen
Mar 15, 2016 07:39 PM 13695 Views

Hi All,

I would personally request everyone don't ever step in to this hospital.

This is only place to make money from patients.

I has a horrible time when my wife was admitted in the room#227B.

I was surprised to see the room with cockroaches and bugs.

Toilets clogged with water and stinking.

There is no tap in the whole hospital which is in god condition. All the taps needs to be replaced as they are leaking and

has no control over water. I think this hospital gets free water to spare so much.

We have been charged for the medicines which have never used in the hospital.

There were few medicines which were brought during the admission to show and the nurse just took it away after showing it to us.

The surprising thing is these people have not provided the discharge summary and the test reports.

We were over charged without any discharge summary and there is no responsible person who can answer the queries people just send us desk to desk which was verst than ay Government office.

A Humble request, Never go this hospital. Better we can go to any Government hospital and pay a small bribe and you will be treated like a king.

Irresponsible attitude by some of the doctors
Sep 12, 2015 10:44 AM 16611 Views

Admitted one of my relatives for viral fewer. The doctor is irresponsible in addressing attendees questions. We were told its a dengue in first 3 days after admission. After 5th day they said its viral. When asked specifically what is the nature of disease he tells its just a viral disease.

Even a common cold is viral disease. Asking whats the diagnosis and about food no proper answer. When we insisted on answers they ask us to take the patient and discharge!

Imcompetant Doctors
Sep 05, 2015 07:45 AM 17049 Views

Mallya hospital has the worst set of doctors.'Senior' consultant doctors are barely present in the hospital and extremely junior doctors some of whom are trainees manage the show. This is the situation in the ICU as well. I was an unfortunate witness to an argument between two junior doctors about admintrating a wrong drug to a patient - this argument which was controlled by nurses and admin staff was inside the ICU.

We lost a loved one because of the gross negligence of Dr Mruthungaya(consultant neurologist- who was barely present) and the hospitals trainees. I would never recommend this hospital even for the most simple procedures

Showdown at Mallya Hospital
Jul 09, 2015 11:03 PM 17740 Views (via Android App)

Recently I had an unfortunate occasion that had me visit Mallya Hospital and support some people from out of Bangalore during their bereavement.

I was shocked to see the pathetic condition of the hospital, which I always considered to be an elite hospital.

The corridors were dirty,  the toilets filthy,  the emergency room needed emergency attention, the staff was quite casual and laid back, etc.

The hospital is not as great as it used to be.

It needs a severe and urgent reconditioning.

Extremely bad Padiatrican exp at Mallaya Hospital
Jun 29, 2013 03:14 PM 11197 Views

Hi, We went to Mallaya Hospital on 29-June-13 to get a blood test conducted for my daughter (Saanchi Duggal). Our paediatrician (Dr. Vasanth Shetty non-Mallaya hospital dr) asked us to do and get the test conducted from Mallaya Hospital.

Once we reach the hospital and finished all the registration/payment process the nurses at collection centre asked us to go to the casualty centre and contact the on duty doctor to take the sample. They asked us to do that since our baby was 6 months old.

Once we reached the casualty ward and after waiting for 20-30mins, a pediatrician doctor came from Dr. Ratna's team and told that he can';t collect blood sample as we are not showing to the pediatrician of Dr. Mallaya Hospital.

He was very rude to tell us that he can't do lab service of collecting blood samples for other doctors without getting paid. Moreover he said that its very annoying to take blood samples of small babies, really shocking to hear this from a pediatrician.

We asked us that how much we should pay him to get the samples collected, he told us my fees is INR 400. We were ready to pay that extra over and above the charges for blood tests.

After that he told that we have to go stand in the queue and get a file made , show it to an internal doctor before he could take blood samples.

This is really very cold and rude behavior by a doctor. Our daughter was asked to get the blood test done as she was suspected of Dengue and this test were urgent. We lost almost 2-3 hr in this whole ordeal and finally went to Columbia Asia hospital to get the blood test done.

I want complaint to be filed against this Doctor and hospital for such a rude and unprofessional behavior.
