MCKV institute of engineering is best private engineering college which is situated in howrah.The infrastructure of this college is just Awesome. All the faculties are well qualified. All the labs are well equipped. The placement record of this college is fantastic.Those who are searching for a good college in Howrah, according to me those students can take admission in MCKV without any hesitation

Good college in howrah, good location, is good campus , now mckv have got a grade so this is good , it has good lab , it have great libary, and even have a gym for erecise and grat campus.it organiza different cultures feast and different organization.In college is safe no ragging happene inside college

This school gives its child our children a huge amount of chances of becoming famous in the field of spirts but it has many problems in it. It punishes the childrens very much and without any reason. Boys who donot do any misschief. Gets very much punishments and the teachers in desiplin cell donot take serious actions against the naughty people. They suspends the boys for very small mistakes and donot give the any chance of telling there problems.

Mckv college, though it is situated in an easily accessible area yet the education system in it is not up to the mark. First of all the teachers are not much cooperative they only come to attend classes and finish the syllabus as soon as possible. The practical labs also lack in the number of instruments and devices needed for workout and ultimately the students have to share the equipment. The faculty in the college is also very irresponsible and unresponsive at time of need. The Library lacks in the number of books and important books are missing, most of the books are obsolete and new books are rarely available.

The sports department also doesn't have enough materials for playing and some are damaged too. All of the sports event are held I inside the college. The gym room in the college is only existing as a name and none of the gym eqipments are present there, students play carrom in that very room. The canteen inside the college is very expensive and also not well maintained , getting inside the canteen is a best way to bunk the class.

The college has a girls hostel inside the premises and also a boys hostel which is at a distance. I don't know about the girls hostel but the boys hostel is very clumsy , there is no one to look after them and if a student wants to study there along with the others then he cannot even think of it because the hostel is always noisy and there is no one who can maintain peace. The food provided to them is also not worth of the money that the hostel takes from every student.

The college doesn't have its own organising hall and it borrows it from the mckv school situated close to it for attending its functions.

Ragging is not a premium cause for this college as there are anti-ragging departments in the college.

And talking about the placements then the college is not at all giving placements to the students. Mostly the departments of CSE and IT get placements but that also in very minimum number. Mass recruiter companies don't come in this college. This college was better 5-7 years ago but for now it is listed in the downgraded colleges in Howrah. And its situation is getting worse day by day.

Hello, everyone if you are planning to join institute for engineering than I suggest you that please never ever think about that because the worst thing is that the students of 4th year have very bad impression towards their junior because they starts raging. For this purpose many students don't wants to attain college and many of them do so just because of their seniors, this effect very much on their future courses too.

Hello everyone today I am going to tell you about this college. Currently I am studing engineering in this college. I dont know if you find anything special in this college. The college has very low space of campus. We dont have any playground. We have only one basketball ground. We dont have any auditorium for functions. For the occasion we use the school auditorium beside us.the teaching stuff s good until you ask them outside syllabus topic. They will guide you towards succes but only what was wriiten on your text book. They wont help you for outer knowledge. But they are very helpful and friendly too ( except some faculty stuff) . Almuni network is strong. We have a pretty good campusing for cse, ece, aue and it department. The core engineering department won't even stand a chance. The basic science department is very good in this college. We do have also bca mca and m tech degrees.

There is various courses available. But the placement is not good. They will place u to bangalore but with low salary. Whatever . irrespective of this they arranges modeling show ramp walk and too many stuffs. What I think is they should focus on academics other than focusing on thise kinda thing.

MCKV is private college . I would say go for MCKV if  you have no other option left because these type of colleges are now opened in every lane of kolkata where studying or not studying both are equal.

Although one will get all type of facility in this college but it is of no use. If you are a good student then you might get any off campus job otherwise do not expect any job after completing b.tech degree.

You will just get a degree in your hand thats it. If you are getting colleges like mckv then I would say quit btech and do something else.

Well I have admitt my brother to this college for complete his engineering. He admit when he passed the joints exam.

Well the collage pretty good designed in outer area. Well I heard that this collage has a great faculty options.

I need a collage which describe me better. Which improve my mind . Which  improve my personality. Actually in this lab programmes are very much impressive.

Sports programme are arranged every year.i like the cricket and basket ball matches which held in the month april.though the mckv's campas is not so wide yet its give us such facalities which other collages doesnt.every year most of the student getting placement in IT as well as core sector in a reputed companies like infosys, TCS, CTS, wipro etc.besides IT companies mckv provides campansing in core companies also like mahindra, eicher, polycab, tata motors etc.mckv provides us every seasonal trainng  winter and summer trainng which helps a student to build up his or her comminication skill as well as experinence to face many competition and participate in others collage.most of the collages in west bengal doent provide an engg in automobile mckv is one of the collage in wb which belongs to automobile engg.and mckv is famous for automobile engg.

I studied at MCKV Institute of Engineering for 4 years and completed B.Tech in IT. The institute is located in Liluah, which is in Howrah district of West Bengal, very close to the city of Kolkata. I secured a decent All India Rank in AIEEE and after a round of counselling, joined the institute. I used to commute everyday from my home in central Kolkata.

Location: The location is something to crib about. It stands in the midst of hustling-bustling crowd of Liluah which wears a blanket of dust through out the day.

Faculty: Throughout 4 years, I never came across a faculty of high repute. All of them were ordinary and preferred speaking Bengali.

Infrastructure: The college had a basketball court, and that was used for cricket, football, annual festivals and all other functions. Some of the systems in computer lab did not function most of the time.

Library: The library was well equipped but had a strict policy. A fine of Rs 10 per day was exercised if you fail to return the book within specified date. No excuses were entertained.

Placement: The college failed to meet the expectation of most of the aspirants. it boasted of 100% placement but was able to place only 50% by the end of our season. Most of the students did end up getting a job but after searching on their own.

Alumni: The college doesn't really keep a track of alumni base sincerely. Alumni relationship is key to the growth of any institute and plays a very important role in building a name for the institute.

All in all, it is okay only if you are looking to get a degree and have a bit of fun. Not recommended for someone who really wants to learn.
