I have been a user and distributor for the Lukup product. The product is solid although it has issues in the beginning. The company is not marketing it well which we hope will improve in near future. Sales team is weak with very weak follow up if we have issues. Content coverage is good and pricing is attractive.

It has been a career risking experience with a company called Lukup or you can say Hukup or Fukup thanks to god I was only there less than a year. More than the product this is more about dealing two idiots.

Two idiots ruling the company Kallol Borah(graduate of so called LSE, dont quite look like a student from infact his thought process and strategies are like one passing out from distance learning course) and another his buddy Sushil Jadhav.

No matter which position you come and join, VP or Even an executive you face rather you end up reporting to this uneducated so called buddy sushil jadhav who's main KRA is just to spy on people, notice who comes and what others do, most importantly robbing off things from others desk(Yes, many of them by now).

One thing for sure mumbai office is not at all a safe place for women thanks to mr sushil jadhav, who likes staring, scanning women.

Let come to Kallol Borah, who is CEO of the company, mostly CEOs are focus and works at the best, but this CEO likes being involved in stupid things, like spying on emails, knowing from sushil who has come to office and who has not. He doesn't listen to the problems, he is the one who will create more for you.

Kallol is mentally imbalanced person, he starts one thing but before closing anything he starts another for example(Lukup not launched, Light Up god knows what will happen then some CCTV cameras and all lot of shitty stuff). Yes, he is self obsessed doing launch PRs, you could do a google and see how many times had Lukup had been commercially launched right from 2013 till today and in reality there is no single subscriber and how could you get a subscriber when you are dependent on sales which is headed by Sushil Womanizer Jadhav.

Sushil's key skills are robbing and lifting things from other people's desk without anyone noticing it, things he had robbed till now, chocolates, biscuits, headphones, chargers, goggles, blazer, mugs, decorative items from other people tables, diaries and many more. He is nothing but a chindi chor chawanni chaap.

Now you would know how this place is a disaster and how one should not really look at working here, These guys only hire you to fire you in few months.

I recently checked out the Lukup connection at my friends place. Found the concept of one service for both TV and internet very convenient. While he has been using the service mainly for internet so far, it also works well for TV. The internet speeds were decent. Though what really stands out is the portability feature, which lets you watch TV on their mobile app. I wonder if I can do that on my current DTH connection.

Tried a demo of Lukup at my society last week. It is good to see a change from the regular set top boxes and modems available in the market to something designed so nice and small. What I liked the most is the dedicated internet they promise unlike other service providers, which is crucial for a heavy internet user like me. On top of that I get to watch television and on demand channels too through the same service. I am waiting to get this installed and wondering if any of you have tested Lukup's bandwidth speeds along with content streaming.

Signed up for a one month preview of Lukup. The Lukup Player X is small and light weight. The player takes very little space on my entertainment cabinet and frees up the space earlier utilised by my stb and also the modem. Setting up the player is easy and the mobile application controls are simple. The TV experience has been good so far especially with the ease of changing channels through the app. The on demand collection could definitely improve. Internet speed has been one of the highlights. Will definitely continue using Lukup.

Checked out the Lukup Player X. The concept of one connection for both TV channels and internet access is good. Makes life easier for sure. Could have probably given more choice of colours for the product.

The internet speeds were very good at 15 Mbps and seemed faster than my current 20 Mbps connection. Also the plans offered for TV and internet combined is cheaper than what I currently pay only for internet.

Got a chance to preview the Lukup player last week. It is surprisingly small for a set top box and wifi router combined in one product.

The quality of TV channels was good and internet speeds were very good too. Used their mobile application to change channels with ease. Getting both TV channels and internet in one connection is a great idea. Plans are at great prices too! Definitely a game changer.

Why would you join -

• You are jobless and wasting time at home & do not want recruiters to know it. Hence need something to update your CV (so that people feel you were working somewhere).

  
  




• You are fHugeITd about high designations - AVP/ VP/ Director, etc (irrespective of previous roles being Assistant MAnasultanger/ Sr. Executive), end of the day, you are treated like a beggar/office boy.

• You have lot of money and not directly dependent on salary paid by the company.

  
  

About the company -

• Product is pathetic even then blame it on us (sales team). Please read reviews about the product. And we are given unrealistic figures like 1 million customers in 1 year. Ha Ha Ha. That too when we have an inventory of 2500 non-working products. And annual forecast is of 5000 more products

  
  




• Do not aishwaryasingh23 salary on time. It’s always delayed to 5th or 6th of next month. Have not paid salary for May 2016, June 2016 (2 month now).

  
  




• CEO has employed his friends and friend's children whose only KRA is calling the CEO every day and Pulak2336iping. Worst part is CEO entertains this and even takes action against people who are not in good list with the "friend". And yes, the friend is rewarded with Amsterdam trip on investor's money (without any logic)

  
  




• Your mails are monBrianbalakumaranred. Copy of each and every mail that is received/sent is marked to the CEO. In a way he is tracking you. Never configure the mail on your device he even checks your contacts, etc.

  
  




• Have already started closing offices (Chennai & Pune closed). Have sacked all the employees there.

  
  




• Impulsive guy who is penny wise pound foolish.

  
  




• This is 4th venture of the CEO and has track record of wasting investor's money by distracting the vision of the company every 4 month. This company had started as an advertisement platform (never launched) then VOD (never launched), MSO & ISP (never launched) now a wireless internet platform (very sure this is not going to launch). Have not had a single successful venture till date.

• e.g. - 1. Imported gifted biscuits from COO's cabin, 2. Demo Samsung handset, 3. Shades (goggles), 4. Money kept on desk for 5 mins, 5. Snacks from jar, 6.blazer/ coats from the chair. 7. Takes money in from of deposit from the office boy before giving job. 7. Takes money in every admin transaction (purchasing printer, stationery up to toilet paper”

  
  

Also, if you are a female, refrain from joining. There is no POSH committee. And the so called friend is a womanizer who takes great pride in telling people about at least 10 relationships he has had, 2 marriages and 1 live-in relationship. With every new girl coming to office, he is more than happy to "Help/ involve". And guess what... He is "friend" so no one escalates & worst there is no proof so everyone is silent

• You do not want to launch any product just want to play with investor's money and get rich and make your friend (one here in Mumbai) rich.
