This was one of the strangest books I've ever perused. A story of man which unfolds slows and magically. It is historical biography type mixed with Fiction. The man is clumsy and very difficult to handle and Barry has described his character very malignantly. Infact it can be challenging task to you if you are unaware of Nelson.

Not only the title but also the novel intrigued me. Obsession and identity crises is the main core of the story with how Charles acts, behaves and thinks himself to be the historical Naval Hero, Nelson. I felt connected to the book and would recommend it to all.
