Very expensive shopping at lifestyle
Dec 12, 2016 10:41 PM3527 Views

I love to do shopping always as I went to life style to buy new clothes and ornaments. There are many Life stores in many states. The shopping Complex looks very big but there is no much parking area, we can see all types of products like cloths, hand bags, ornaments etc.,

There are many models of ornaments but the thing is the prices are very high comparing to other shopping malls. I have seen a dress which I was very much liked but I get shocked by seeing the cost of that dress because the rate is about ten thousand because the rate is not much worthable for it. I have gone through all the shop and I have come across that the costs are very high on every product.

The products which are in that showroom does not range that much of higher costs. The range of the products are high but the same products are available at lower costs in other shopping malls.

I would not suggest anyone to buy products in this shopping mall by affording higher costs.

Lifestyle sucks. No exchange even for damaged item
Nov 27, 2013 11:30 PM3036 Views

Store: Lifestyle -inner Ring Road.

I purchased a hand bag for Rs 1, 500, on 23rd-Nov-2013 and after using it for one day, the handle of the bag came out. Today I went to Lifestyle to get it exchanged. But I was only disappointed to know that they would only service/repair it but not exchange? Oh ya? I pay 1.5 k and buy a bag and use it just for one day? and then it becomes a repaired bag? And for repair they need 15 days time? What I am I suppose to do for 15 days?

Even after telling the person in-charge that this bag is damaged and so I am returning, he is just bent upon telling, he can not replace it? Spend so much money and buy a so called branded bag in a branded shop and this is the way they treat customers? No exchange even if its damaged?

Person in-charge tells me, it has to go to the service center and they will decide if its damaged or not? So, the handle has come out is not enough proof to see its damaged? After arguing for almost 30 mins, he says, when the bag was bought from the store, it was intact. This damage has happened outside the store?/ Wow. I was really shocked to see this kind of response and he says, I should have checked properly before buying it? Thats why I went to a shop like Lifestyle and bought a hand bag spending 1.5k? and I had to pull out all handles to see if they r proper?

Shame on Lifestyle to respond this way. I know there are rules but yes there are exceptions also. I had a genuine reason to return it and it should have been considered instead of sticking to some stupid rule which is always made in favor of Lifestyle? Man, can't believe India is still so backward when it comes to valuing customer and their money.

What is the solution to this now? I had to throw the bag/bill everything on the store in-charge's face and come home. But I lost my money, my mood, energy. Who is gonna compensate for it? Those idiots are so shameless, they happily kept the bag with them. Such cheep Lifestyle is? If any item is damaged, it has to be replaced. This is the rule every where and lifestyle can't make its own rule and stick to it.

I want to go to consumer court and sue these idiots. I want my money back. In-fact I purchased for about 5k, and I want return everything I bought and want my money back. And also compensation for my time/energy that's wasted on these idiots.

Never again in my life, will I go to Lifestyle.

Poor customer service -TheInnerCircle loyaltyCard
Mar 26, 2012 12:48 PM3492 Views

The InnerCircle Loyalty card is simply a card which "The Landmark group" wants to show as "me-too" loyalty card offering. The customer service is pathetic and there is no communication flow to show that they are interested to solve the issue. I had made purchases in the past and presented the card during billing. First there is a terrible delay in the point credits. And for missing points, it takes extreme efforts from the customer to get it credited. The points for my first purchase from Max store didn't get credited. I had to get my bill during my second purchase to get this corrected.

Recently, my GloriaJeans purchase in Feb 2012 is yet to be credited with points. The customer care phone number never works. And they are so so delayed to respond over email. My first email on 6-Mar with the scanned copy of the bill, was replied immediately that they are working on it.

After which, I had sent 2 emails to know the status, but no response. What good is a loyalty card, if the store is not serious about it. I will recommend anyone to frequent this group for the loyalty card, to avoid the same, to not be disappointed later. Beware on TheInnerCircle loyalty card from The Landmark Group (Lifestyle, HomeCenter, Spar, max etc).

When it comes to good merchandise and great service !!!Lifestyle!! The company has other stores also at various places in India and Dubai but the international look in the store is great and the home section is specially good with most of the merchandise from abroad...the range of gift section, kitchen range and furnishing are good enough for setting a good home.

Furniture is specially attraction in store with sofa n bed sets ranging from 35000 to 300000..the place rocks actually with even now having food court which serves great food and that too at budgeted cost...so ppl next time you plan to shop and have fun !!!go to lifestyle!!!the place with offers and quality!!! the service standards of the store are also good and you get enough attention though not always...it can be disastrous at times!!!!place has come with a renovated look now and is worth trying

Malls in garden city
Jan 19, 2007 11:28 AM4209 Views

It is already famous as Garden City, IT Hub, now the city of Malls, As there are numbers of mall going to be functional by  end of 2007. I feel to be hanged out in Forum mall, If you are a serious shoppers you should be in Lifestyle International, You get the best out in town today at lifetyle, with Ground + three floor of Shopping and a Food court from Dubai. Shopping with Refreshment is a Concept today. There is section for Kids, Women's and Men's wear and based upon season the merchandise lands in the store Racks, thanks to the team which is working at the backend to give better service to the customers who walks into the store.

The Range and the style that is available in Lifestyle is not available anywhere in the town check this, and the Branded garments and products are priced and the best in the market . I would recommend all  my friend and family to visit Lifestyle Stores across India, they have stores in Mumbai, Delhi, Gurgaon, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Noida and Bangalore. Shortly in all tier I cities of India.

Shop in style
Oct 07, 2004 02:33 PM5920 Views

Bangalore is a city of gardens but it would not be wrong if we call it as a city of shopping , and shopping buffs.. any person in bangalore may or may not do something else but he wont miss shopping on weekends .

Add to this the huge shopping malls coming up in bangalore offer more vairety and choice to the consumer . But I would any day vote lifestyle as the best shopping mall, I have shopped in lifestyle in bbay delhi and now in bangalore and I have come across the same warmth of personal touch that you get when you shop in lifestyle they have maintained their standard of quality , price and customer care.

Specially the annual sale in lifestyle is just amazing, the prices are reduced upto 70 %and this lifestyle becomes a shopper's paradise during that period the variety of brands available is huge. Shopping area is vast so one feels suffocated while moving around .

Being a lifestyle inner circle member is again of great advantage the discount coupons and offers they keep sending are just amazing lifestyle really values its customers and thats the reason they have a selected class of dedicated customers.

The only things they need to improve upon is the billing sections , though they have quite a few counters but it still becomes a wait of 45 mins sometimes in the queue to get ur stuff billed

Rest everything is just perfect at lifestyle.

Forum is the Best
Aug 05, 2004 05:32 PM5778 Views

Of all the Malls in Bangalore, Forum is the Best as it is the only one with enough variety and space to engage a huge audience within its perimeter. Also the food mall in Forum ie. Transit is very good and the karoake every friday is a major draw. The shops in the mall are of a good mix and there is enough culture shops there to satisfy Culture-nuts.

Besides that Parking is not a major hassle as of now and the due-to-be opened mutiplex will add to the attractions and increase more foot falls.

Another important issue is that there no salesperson who hassles you in the mall and with predefined spaces assigned to all the shops, clutter is less, which makes for more comfortable paths.

The prices in most stores are the same as in company owned outlets and the display here is very much better and makes for a better shopping experience. this and the help desk staff who are very friendly make it a place to be visited in Bangalore.

A SHOPPING EXPEDITION IN BANGLORE
Jun 03, 2004 09:47 AM6041 Views

Of all the malls in banglore, I believe, lifestyle wins handsdown!!the stuff is good, the shoes section is the best among others like mumbai central, westside, shoppers stop, etc. plus you can rest a tired seat in the cafe.

The trivia, like earrings and all are also nice, however dont ever buy bindis from out there. Way too expensive, and well, not really very nice too. The staff at the lakme stand were efficient and patient, however those people up, near the shoe racks, are a little slow..

But yeah, if its sandals and shoes, and if you are a shopping mall person, buy it from lifestyle.

The watch collection is also nice, and the salwar kameez stuff is best there, among, westside, shoppers stop and banglore central.

Shoppers stop, I believe is the worst of the lot, where you have no place to sit, and no refreshment zone, no coffees at all..the forum is good, landmark has one of the best book collections I have come across, the food court is happening..and even banglore central is not bad, only thing dont shop in the evenings theres a big line for the trail rooms.

Bring Style in Your Life
Feb 22, 2002 02:31 PM9672 Views

This is another good thing that could happen to Bangalore. An amazing shop with a range of stuff and with different prices to plan your shopping.

I was wary of the big shopping mall as I was not very happy with Bombay Store.

Lifestyle has style I must say. The first thing that struck me was the size of the shop. The next thing that was brought to my notice was the customer service. Very helpful ladies and gentlemen.

You have the option to shop alone or browse at your leisure or if you are in a hurry you can take help from the helpers and get your shopping done within minutes.

The ranges of products available are wide and varied. It has about two floors if I am not mistaken. I think its one of the biggest shopping complex in Bangalore after kemp Fort.

But just the size would not matter if you do not have good staff to boot. Thats where the soul of the complex usually is.

The different products which you could shop or browse for are ,

Watches, perfumes, gold sets, etc which is there on display for you just as you enter the shop.

As you proceed straight in, you would get a range of varied women wear where the women can freak out. Inside to your right, are the ,menswear which has an impressive variety too. If you are looking for formal wear or casual wear or just jackets you could peep in here.

The first floor has all the accessory items which one would require for setting up a house. From crockeries to furniture, etc.

Want something for your kid. You could find something interesting here. For those interested in music, you can also browse in the music section for your favourite audios.

People interested in shopping just for the heck of it could browse through the glasswares ,interesting collectibles and knick knacks.

All in all its a good shopping experience. I personally think that you would get a good deal and the price is worth the buy in this store.

Last but not the least, there is a good parking place for two wheelers and Four wheelers but they could increase the four wheeler parking space though.

My recommendations

You could definitely shop for your casual wear and western formal wear without thinking too much about the money part. Crockery is expensive. You would get a good deal on the glassware however. You could also try the Kitchen Appliances too as the price would be same in all the shops. You could also try the music section. Of course its not so large as Planet M :).

If you want to buy a gift for that special someone I think you will definitely find something of interest in this shop.

I would not however recommend investing on Salwars and furniture. You would get a better deal in other shops in Commercial Street which have exclusive which are product specific. Like DCM for ''Salwars'' and ''Portico'' for furniture.

So my friends... happy shopping !! and yes I would not promise you that you will go home with the full purse that you came in to the shop. Your purse may be lighter but you will also be happier that you bought something which has quality.
