Few Hours enough for Leimakhong
May 27, 2015 04:40 PM 4024 Views

We visited this area in 2008 in NE India Tour. The tour to this area was completed within few hours as there are no much tourist attractions out here.

We visited a park named Rajiv Memorial Park who was tribute to the local hero. It symbolize the courage and bravery of our soldiers. A Power plant of BHEL is also here having a capacity of around 35 MW. There is a Leimakhong river which remains full-fledged during rainy season from Jun-Sep. The Climate is very cold out here.
