Lakshmi Vilas Bank is hardest bank . Staff service is not good. Banking services are not much satisfactory. More people are gathering and much disturbances.

I had recently opened account in Lakshmi Vilas bank, on second day of opening there was a sb mahila urban penalty of 248. Due to this towards month end , another penalty of 820 was deducted due to low account balance. I don't understand why does metro customers get urban penalty. On enquiring staff including branch manager - they told me it's technical glitch in program hence amount debited. Since bank agreed incorrect penalty I enquired by when will amount will be credited back to my account for which I got answer they are not sure of timelines as their technical team itself does not know by when they will be able to correct the program that makes incorrect penalty. To which manager further questions me - if corporate company promise a hike will they do it immediately? He is comparing penalty to hike and secondly retail bank to corporate company.i have never seen any bank manager giving such answers not relevant to subject matter.


Their customer support team is even worse. On enquiring them they said penalty is correct and it would not be reverted. Their middle man staff is aware of only one answer it will be credited in two days , one etc


This is just very small amount but same thing can happen to large amount too. I just wanted to shed some light to public so they get to know whereabouts of bank. I don't suggest this bank to anyone. Think before you park your money in this Bank!!

I have both savings and current account in bank.


For savings account,


without any reason account got locked(I CANT Use Internet banking of my bank, TEZ, PAYTM)


Then I tried reaching home branch regarding this issue, no one replied to me and I tried contacting Customer service.


Then I got mail from support that login in to account and change the pin.


IF MY ACCOUNT GOT LOCKED, HOW CAN I LOGIN AND CHANGE PIN?


That's the worst answer from the bank customer executive.


For current account,


After opening my account bank should send cheque book and Internet banking credentials to the address, but I don't know when the bank send to the address and all, after 1 month when I contact bank, the answer was wrong address.


Except LAKSHMI VILAS BANK, each and every other bank and any mail to my address I received, but only this bank people are saying that address not found or wrong.


Then we continued our transactions for 3 months by going to the bank frequently by wasting lot of time in my business.


At last I have updated another new address which is another branch of my company and I updated in the bank, they took 2 months only to update the address.


At last I got cheque book to the new address, when I asked for Internet banking they continued tomorrow for one month.


Now when I asked finally the answer was INTERNET BANKING is failure.(SOFTWARE).


Seriously I suggest each and every entrepreneurs that don't open your account in this bank.


INSTEAD OF OPENING ACCOUNT IN LAKSHMI VILAS BANK,


MAINTAIN TRANSACTIONS BY CASH.

Hey friends, today I am going to share my views and experience about Lakshmi Vilas Bank in which I tried to open a new saving bank account but the staff was saying for 3-4 days that the connectivity is not there and also the account is on leave. So account could not be opened. Beside this, ATM availability is also not there at many places and ultimately its we, the customers which suffer. Also, the interest rate in fixed deposit is also very low. I couldnot get education loan from this bank inspite of giving all the valid and necessary documents.

This is utmost useless bank any one should opt for. So what happened was my father had this account for 6 months and then for one month just one month it had zero balance and then you know wt happens the charge you a penalty of 900rs. And upon calling customer service no one is polite they are ignorant and don't care about the customer also the ATM service is the worst there are only ATM's in the bank(which are closed most of the time) and very slow and sluggish to operate my honest recommendations for you guys please please please don't go for this bank unless you want to waste money. Even I have requested to cancelle the account in the bank.

I am using Lakshmi Vilas Bank service for past 3 years. There is no much offers, I felt its a toughest bank. If any complaints I had need to go the concern bank directly, there is no online query option. There is no proper guidance to reach the customer support. When ever I visit to the branch for depositing money I don't have to wait for the long time in the que, the process is done fast and in a better way.

Customer Service: Very Bad Experience with non systematized bank with very very bad customer service that too Merchant banking service is so bad.


Bank is Good only for people who's transaction will be less than 5k per month. Had pathetic experience with EDC service.

I used this bank 2 or 3 months before. Generally I have 12000Rs maximum in my account. So one day all my account balance get 0Rs, I complaint bank managers and other bank staff, but no one give any useful response to me and I also losted my 12000Rs. My account was hacked by someone, the reason for my account hacking is the low security of bank service, it's ATM service is very bad it is available only in banks and it is very slow and this bank has no facility of Internet banking.

Hai to all, well the worst ever bank with worst staff, i have a salary account with this bank unfortunately, when everyone was saying, don't choose this bank because a less trust worthy bank, i did not believe them and opened my account with Lakshmi Vilas Bank, they promised me to provide unlimited free ATM transactions, a credit cared etc., which came out as a trap, forget those services they don't even have a staff who is courteous about the concern, moreover half of their staff says that they are from different department and leave us to find the relevant department without giving any useful information, Don't believe when a Lakhsmi Vilas Bank guy promise you to provide more things because once you open your account with than you are trapped, anway I will soon withdraw my account form this bank, and customer service is totally waste and I don't know about internet banking.

Lakshmi vilas is a private bank and very small branches are located in some states and district .


Payment method: Easy away to pay account members are minimum members sectors no tension easy to pay and easy to withdraw only entry process manager noticed all the details .


In advanced machine are available state bank but in this not updating all work for all work only noticed employees .


Money transcation:


Money tansfer from one account to another bank rating very low and low members so easy transcation some times not found to update .


Net banking:


In net banking method not active because slow processing onwards.


ATM services:


Atm serives is activing only under branches sometimes card is error created to other branch of atm services .

Hai friends


I want to tell my experience from this bank. From my bad experience, I won't encourage others to join in this bank.


My one neighbour who is working in this bank forced me to join an account in this bank. For him I started an account in this bank. And I deposited some money too. But for getting atm card and pin number it took more than 2 months. Their process is too slow irritating customers.


If we are going to this bank for any doubts they should take many hours to consult us. Because the staffs are very less number. The Atm availability is also very less. We can see their Atm counter which is nearby to the banks. So we can't carry this card and can't trust too.


The mobile and Internet banking is not active. With this bank account and all we can't do any bank transactions with online services . Their website is too slow and not updated. It is not reliable and safe.


For getting loan from there is too difficult. My friend tried to get education loan from there but they didn't give and ask for many documents which is not mandatory. The interest rate is also too less. So fixed deposits at there is not worth.


I have no use with this bank account and atm. So I won't refer to any friends to join an account here. The customer services are too bad and not helpful .

I have account with Lakshmi Vilas Bank in Netaji Shubas Chandra Road in Kolkata. I have opened this account on last year. I have complained about this bank it charges 380 INR, in each month, though I maintained 20000 INR very month, I have visited to branch and complain about this issue to the branch manager but still they neither has done my refund or they has clarified me, though maintaining 20000 INR why they are deducting such amount. I have problems with its phone banking, as with the user id I cannot able to redirect to my account over the phone, I have to provide more details like date of birth, phone number etc which is very much time consuming to know my mini statements over the phone. even if I want to transfer any fund it took me 16 hours transfer to the beneficiary account, its online banking is not user friendly as the page is not easy to navigate from account summery to fund transfer or bill payments options. If any queries arise I called to customer care but the customer care are not very experience as they cannot able to share the existing offers which is valid on my account. Even Lashmi Vilas Bank atm is very rare in Kolkata. Above 5 transaction in this bank atm is free, but above 5 transaction bank used to charge 30 INR each. I am not satisfied with its bank. So I suggest everyone to select other bank rather than this.

Hello friends! I want to say something about this private bank. In this bank has nothing good facilities. They provide miserable facilities for us. There is accused facilities of phone banking. It's work very defectively. ATM facility is available but the work of it outrageously. When we will make our ATM card of this bank, they shall take much time to make our ATM card and Daley. Internet facility is very worst. They doesn't provide us good customer service.

I want to share my view on Lakshmi Vilas Bank and the branches of this bank are very less and ATM service is very less and facing many problems while making internet banking and the customer service is very poor and it is not fully developed.


Phone Banking:


The phone banking is very problematic in this Lakshmi Vilas bank and the employees of this bank don't help customers in providing the details and it is not fully equipped.


ATM service:


Very less no of ATM services are located in various branches and they won't provide the money in time and the ATM s doesn't have money anytime and the people are facing many problems.


Internet Banking:


The process to apply for this internet banking is more and it takes more time to activate the internet banking and many issues come in payment if we are using this bank.


Customer service:


The poor customer service is provided by this bank and they are not responsible and they don't have clarity in their tasks and they are not clarifying the customer's doubts.


I won't suggest this bank to anyone.

I had visited this bank recently to open an account here. The internal infrastructure was not good. The premises was also not clean. The staff working here are very rude and harsh. They don't respond properly and keep ignoring us. I had asked for the form and they gave me the form after an hour and also after submitting I had asked for various schemes and offers. They just handed me the pamphlet and told me to visit the website. Also the ATM charges were high compared to other banks. I had opted for that service. My account got opened after a month and ATM facilities after three months. Their services are very slow. Also the internet banking facilities is shut down most of the time. Also the customer service Centre when called then they don't pick the call. The facilities they provide are not that good. I suggest not to visit or open an account in this bank.

I opened an account in Lakshmi Vilas Bank  7 months back. I enabled Internet banking also. Internet banking is fine. Customer service is also good. But the main problem comes with ATMs . There is no ATM network in main places in the city. I opened an account in this bank as this near my house but there is no wide network of ATMs. ATM maintenance is also very bad. It will be out of service most of the times. They don't mention that ATM is not working.


Once I had this problem. I swiped ATM card, but the cash was not dispensed. It showed a message "Please try after some time". They should maintain the ATM s properly. Exchange is also good which is around 60 rs for one dollar. We cannot link our Paypal account to this bank.

I have been working at Lakshmi Vilas Bank full-time(1 years)


ProsBeing a private bank yes of course with the change in management the youngsters do stand a good chance in the long run to prove their talents but then they should have the required patience to gain good ground in the years to come.


Cons There r a few people who could easily get the job done merely by keeping praised their immediate Executives/Directors etc and climb the ladder which is not a good sign. Advice to Management. Realize and recognize the hidden talents available with old lvbians rather than hunting/chasing merely new talents and make it a blend of both the old and the new.

Torn notes issued at ATM in Ulsoor Branch

I write this mail with regard to torn notes issued at the great Lakshmi Vilas Bank ATM.


I went to the ATM located near Shanthi Sagar hotel, Ulsoor, Bangalore on 24th August at 15:54. To my surprise, all the notes received were torn. I've attached the same for "the concerned people".


I contacted their customer care, but they say I'll have to go to the nearest branch and get it exchanged. Honestly, I don't want to do that because I'll have to unnecessarily invest time & money for no fault of mine.


My only question is how do I get the notes exchanged?I'm hoping someone will answer my query.
