Kozhikode beach or Calicut beach is located on western of calicut , situated on malabar cost

The best sightseeing and tourists attractions in Kozhikode beach near places are Eroth water adventure sports , Motherof god cathedral Kozhikode diocese , and kappad beach

This area covered by restaurants , hotel rooms and some other shops

Per day thousands people visiting in this beach , so including police security also . But always be aware for some local chain snatchers .

Kozhikode beach most famous beach in Kerala. This beach very excellent beach with nice restaurant near by. The view is especially beuttyfull in the night when lot of people come there. A grade hotel-Sea Queen is located there which is a must visit for all the tourists. The beach is clean and has proper sitting arrangement too.

my experience is amazing, i am sitting every day evening there.

I have visited Kozhikode beach.

It Is a beautiful beach to get an unforgettable sunset seen.

The Kozhikode beach is situated in Kozhikode district of Kerala,

And it is just apart from the calicut town.

This beach is very beautiful and popular

So that the evenings are consist of mass of people who came to see the unseen and unforgettable sunset.

There is so many small stores in the beach and so I bought

Many native sweets such as "kulukki surbath", "chorandi ice" etc from there, they were very sweety with that beautiful sunset.

There is famous tea shop near the beach named " adaminte chayakkada " which is famous for its dishes.

The most beautiful thing of Kozhikode beach is

Its very very beautiful sunset.

I enjoyed that seen very much with my family and I wish to visit there again.

I went to there on bus.

You can go there through bus, train and personal vehicle ways.

There is another attractive thing on the beach,

That is a number of arranged beautiful statues.

They are pretty awesome.

The beach is very attractive and it is one of the best beaches I have visited ever.

There is many 3 star and some 5 star hotels.

The best beach I have ever seen in my life .

The accessibility into this beach is easy that it is situated near to the kozhicode city.

We can get into the beach through auto or by bus. The main attractions of the beach is the ice stalls on the beach .

All the tourist will come into the beach to eat the ice which is present on the beach.

The beach is too safe and has a natural beauty and clean also.

I love this beach.Becouse it gives the happiness we need.I was studied in Calicut during the summer vacation and was stayed there at a hostel near the Calicut Beach.I saw many different people hangout there at the beach side.I think it is the place where different people meet together.

All the tides are pass through our life.And it brings many memories and Happiness.There are many students study there at Calicut.All of them are attracted by the sea.And I saw many couples and other friends enjoy the the sea breeze.Many Films and other Albums were shot there.Becouse the scenery from the sea and surroundings are so nice.The other highlight is the little stalls placed over the desert.It sales some juices and other spices that are available only in beach sides.

I visit there in every weekend while I was at Calicut.And after that I visit with my friends becouse it brings more fun times and good moments.And I understood that everybody feel the same.If you visit there once,you can feel it.It is a good place for families for enjoy the family moments.

Also the road ways is so good and it gives more pleasure.The traffic system to reach the beach is the another advantage to choose the beach.Calicut beach is the another reason to call Kerala as gods own country.

Today I share the experiance about the kozhokode beach in kerala. It is a one of the picnic place in kozhikode. Many peoples are come to this place every day to see the beautiful sunset.

Fresh sea food is availabe to this beach. Many couples and familes are enjoyed very well. Many restorent and hotels are see near the beach. There is good sitting arrangement for friends and families.

One of my favourite hangout is kozhikode beach. I used to go their with my friends and family many times. When I was studying in Calicut I went their every day and sit for having the special Ice ( in malayalam its chirandi Ice) which is only available in Calicut beach and the tea with special calicut snacks like kallummakaya masala and egg masala. When reach the beach first I go to buy the ice and sit in the sea shore, it was a amazing feeling in the evening by watching the sunset.

On the time festival season there are so many entertainment programmes like horse and camel ride, circus and amusment park etc are arranged for the visitors.

One of the most beautiful beaches in Kerala if properly maintained. Just a few miles away from Kozhikode city, with such a perfect blend of all things. There are a number of good eateries offering snacks, Ice cream, Faluda with a sprinkling of restaurants specialising in Malabari, chinese, North and South Indian delicacies, and the walk in the beach in the morning and evening which makes your day perfect and complete.

I visited the beach with my friends yesterday evening, but it's present condition me really sad.

First of all, there is no dedicated parking space. There is ample parking but it's still difficult to get space on weekends and holidays. We had to park road-side which made it very difficult.

Secondly, the beach is now full with animal waste. Not at all clean to sit nor play bare-foot, and once it got dark, I realised that there are no enough number of lights too in the beach.

Was not much of a good experience.

Kozhikode beach is a famous beach in kerala, it is attracting place for all stage of people, I visited this beach more 20 times beacuse iam living in kozhikode district, at the festival times the beach is fully cloudy, the sunset is a most attracting scene in the beach, and other important thing you never loss a chance to eat salty mango and other fruits and other attraction is chorandi ice it is very famous in beach, never loss this beuty

When I was studying  computer sc.  engineering in banglore in 2004, on that  time I was get down to chennai central  station from their itself  again I have to catch  banglore  mail at 9.30 pm .so  in between  this time in evening at 5.30 pm I was  going to chennai  kozhikode beach that is superb beatch. Water colour is  off green.

I was buying some stone material gift  for my family members beach atmosphere  and environment  is too good from every side of the beach.I got good hands on experience from kozhikekode.My engineering  recommended for this trip.

Sand and Stars During our recent stay in Kozhikode, our host and his little family of beautiful wife and lively four year old daughter took us to the beach. It was past 7 but the esplanade was alive with people: families, groups of friends… We went down to the sands and sauntered around for a bit before settling down on the clean sands to watch the sea at night, under the stars.

Snacks on the Seashore Before our stroll we stopped at a hawker cart and had some very exotic snacks. Many different fruits and salad vegetables are bottled in brine or vinegar. One can choose any of them and munch the highly salted snack as a whole. Alternatively, one can select from among them and these are then chopped and served with shaved ice and various spice powders. This was very new to me! Alas, it is only now that I read that I could have had kallumekaya(mussels) or chattipathiri, etc. at the stalls on the promenade.

Waves of Peace We were almost the only ones sitting there on the sands, except for one young man lying nearby whom I presume was dead drunk. So it was very peaceful and companionable as we chatted, told anecdotes and jokes and played with the sand, making all kinds of shapes. When it was almost time to leave, we went to the waves and let them wash gently over our legs.

Family Evenings Our host told us that he often comes here after dinner with his family and I can imagine that it would be so relaxing and a real blessing to unwind in this natural setting after a hard day’s work. It would be ideal to bond as family also.

Dine by the Sea There seem to be many nice restaurants to visit after your time on the sea shore. Since this beach may not be convenient for a daytime visit, it would be ideal to combine time on the beach with a breakfast or dinner. Conveniently placed are the famous Dhe Puttu and many others, ranging from very high budget to unbelievably low cost. We went to the well reputed Hotel Paragon.

Not for a Swim Apparently this is not a beach where you can enjoy a swim which is just as well as the locals do not seem to be the sort to feel comfortable at the sight of a person in a swimsuit. The 3 km stretch of promenade parallel to beach is the main attraction, a real hangout paradise. Sunrise and sunset is the best time.

Added Attractions In the morning one could have a walk along Dolphin’s Point and hopefully see some dolphins. There is an old lighthouse and two crumbling piers running into the sea, which are more than a hundred years old and they would have been charming to behold. For children there is the Lions Park and the marine water aquarium.
