I feel this review is:
Even for a digitally made account of 811, I had to physically visit the branch and close account.
I did it as I was fed-up with upselling calls for a credit card at least 5-6 times in a day even after repeatedly telling them I am not interested.

I went for interview in the bank, they tell a lot of lies, even if you are eligible for the post, this bank will not give you that post.
Current account k liye aligarh ki branch bilkul bekar hai.
Sabhi se nivedan hai kurpya karke kotak bank me khata nahi kholega.
Poor service, local staff,
4 month se account open nahi kiya h hamara .

I have kotak credit from last one year first they told me there is no fees for yearly use now the send me bill of credit card as a yeraly fees I tried there customer care center but no phone banking pin I tried KASSIST but not working I visited branch but there exicutives not talking giving excuses no proper responce what should I do?
this is very pathetic and bad experince from kotak mahindra bank credit card.

In December month you people charged me 590 rs and 590 Rs .that time I made call to your customer care number one of your executive told that my salary account converted to saving account , regarding this updation I didn't received any single call , message or email also .after that I went banglore MG RoAD branch i given a request to make it a zero account .after that also in February 16th you people again charged me 590 2 times ... I didn't know why you people doing like this ... I hope you understand the situation of middle class people's . Recent I went to medical shop I used my debit card it's insufficient balance it made me embarassing infront of lot people .. i request to you please return my amount of INR 2360/- . Im requesting yourself solve immediately .
Worst experience.. never go for this bank.. high interest..even if u pay correctly.. they take a lot of extra charges.. Pls people.. avoid this bank.. soon they will have to pay to all the innocent..

I have an OD account with the bank. Customer care called to transact some amount on the account to stay away from the non-operational charges. After doing that also, they have charged me 2 times fees of 4000 Rs. Total Rs. 8000.
They just want to suck blood of anyone who get trapped with them.

The bank increases minimum balance requirement without informing and then levy hefty fees for non complaince.
The branch and call centre response is equally pathetic.

Today i got a call from credit card department stating i have got a pre approval credit card and he want me to follow some step to get the card he told me to login in to the app i did n he started guideing me In the last step he said me to click on fd than i asked him weather he is trying to open an fd account or what he was
denying he said me no it's is just a process to change the address for dispatch of the card i asked him often but his answer was he was just taking me to the address coloumn at last suddenly the amount deducted from my account when I asked him that y he opened a fd account he was not able to answer me instead he kept my call on hold fr atleast 15min and transferred it to his tl and the tl was not answerable about this...here it shows that the bank doesn't have professional, experienced and educated employees i take a stand and raise my voice towords the scam happen with me...as i am a reporter i am taking this issue forword because I doesn't want this to repeat again with any of its customers...i would also tell the representative of the kotak bank to take the action against Arjun Singh of Mumbai branch credit card department strictly or i would take this matter very serious because I even have the call recording which I would post it in social media and in tv news if i don't get my money back within 3 working days
Hi All, I urge all of you to never get any account opened in Kotak Mahindra Bank. This is the least secured bank and hackers have targeted it the most due to their banking flaws. If you want you can read on Google by searching, Kotak Mahindra Bank hit by highest number of bank frauds of Rs 1 lakh and more in the year 2022.
Plus their bank does not provide any help to customers whose money has been stollen by fraudsters but instead help those fraudsters.
Kotak is giving commissions to FRAUD PEOPLE to open an account in their Bank. so N number of BLOODY FraudS are contacting and trapping people as if they are Job givers or HR, and offering jobs,
so Fools like us sharing our Resume and other documents to open Salary account. BUT ITS NOTHING ABOUT THE JOB, THEY JUST WANT TO OPEN AN ACCOUNT IN KOTAK. WHICH IS OF NO USE TO ANY ONE.
Don't understand that a Bank can also come up with such a cheap idea to open an account here.
ITS REALLY A SHAME on THIS KOTAK BANK. thuuuuuuuu
They forced and taken my car only not paing 2months dues. After that we went the branch to pay the dues and getting my car after paying they penalties. They didn't accept that. So we went to get our car by paying total amount on same month they said my car was saled. This is very cheating where is my 8 months dues we asked they said it was saled for very low amount and you will pay the balance amount too.
Consumer durable loan process is third class service and all officer are not helpful
Refund process is very poor
All Customer pls beware

You can change your mobile number many ways . one is you may visit the nearest branch along with valid photo identity proof or visit any nearby Kotak ATM. or other is by the ATM machine. Please login into your Kotak bank net bank after login on right corner at the top you would see a profile/update contact details click on it. In profile update you will see your registered mobile number to change click on edit. fill your new mobile number on next screen and then submit.
