Gave a dress to be stitched here, they said that it would be ready within ONE week. I agree that it was difficult to be stitched but I had given them my phone number and told them to try their best and the owner told me that I would be informed whether it could be done or not immediately.
I made many calls to them for 3 weeks continuously and they kept postponing the date. The 3rd week, I spoke sternly and asked them to to get back to me with the status of my dress. She then called me back and told me that it could not be stitched.
I asked why they didn't inform me about anything till date and why they only told me about this after I called them up an umpteen number of times. She just cut me off and told that she has nothing more to talk and without having the decency to end the call properly, she simply CUT THE CALL while I was talking.
I was quite stunned because I have never been treated like that ever before andI actually thought that the call got cut somehow. So I called back and asked her whether she actually cut the call. She just rudely told me that she cut the call because she has nothing to tell me. Then said that she was busy at the shop and went on to keep my call on HOLD.
I went and collected my dress immediately and even then the owner didn't admit that what she did wasn't right.
I think she fails to understand that cutting a call while the other person is still talking is a huge disrespect to that person.
I wasn't bothered that they did not or could not stitch my dress, but the way I got treated by them was humiliating.
I would have definitely gone back to them, if I was treated well.
I was shocked to have been dealt in such an unprofessional way from a reputed boutique like Knitters. They should learn how to treat everyone with respect always.
They are good, but there are many establishments that do their job well and also know how to treat their customers with RESPECT!
