Klone And I, The - Danielle Steel Reviews

Kloning went wrong
Nov 05, 2017 12:41 PM 1345 Views (via Android App)

Danielle Steel has ofen written in the genre of love and romance. The novel 'The Klone and I' seemed similar which talked about a heeatbroken woman and her second love.

However the author brought a twist of genes kloning which did not worked. The story had no great plot nor a very strong writing. The kloning twist failed to amuse the reader and also did not created any humor, insteed it seemed foolish and confusing.

So I would not recommend you this book , if you are looking for a good story and strong writing

This is one of those books that scarred me forever. I read it when I was a young person and 10 years down the line regardless I can't consider it without flinching a bit, without passing on a bit.

I robots as much as anyone else however REALLY?

The characters were irritating and just relatable in the feeling of being THE Most noticeably awful any of us can be.

Be that as it may, the champion truly stole the royal gems when it came to being simply yukh

In addition to the fact that she was negligible swinger(coz genuinely I'm not precisely ms.judgy judge) she was out and out exhausting . she doesn't have anything pleasant or fascinating or affable about her . what's more, before the end I was simply longing that the clone would short - circuit and sear her

I normally wouldn't waste my time reviewing such an awful book, but if I can prevent even one other person from wasting their time reading such filth, I'll be satsified.

''The Klone and I'' is supposed to be an attempt at humor by the famous Danielle Steel. My advice to her, is to stick with what she is good at.

I picked up this book because I enjoy reading Danielle Steel. Yes, sometimes her stories are predictable, and the characters and motifs bear notable similarities from one book to another, but overall, I find her novels to be entertaining and worthwhile, and occasionally even heartwarming.

Well, ''The Klone and I'' is certainly unpredictable. You will never know what is about to happen next. The book actually starts out on a promising note but proceeds to reach unimaginable heights of stupidity. I wanted to smack myself on the head for spending Rs. 299 on this book, and I felt even worse for the 3 hours I wasted reading it. I could have slept!

If you have already read this book, please don't judge Danielle Steel's skills as an author based on this book. Maybe she was temporarily insane... or drunk.

If you hate Danielle Steel based on this book alone, please, try reading ''The Gift'', ''The Ring'' or ''Lightning''. If you are considering reading this book, please take my advice and don't waste your time. Take a nap instead.

Pathetic

This book can be taken as Danielle Steele's worst book...

I had started liking her because of her great understanding and portrayel of characters .. but this book is the most fickle I have seen from her..

After reading some great books of hers like 'Back from nam' , 'Daddy' , 'The Gift' I started buying her titles trusting her to give me as good as that but sorry to say I have been vastly disappointed in her later novel..and this one has been the worst..I have stopped wasting any more of my money on her books...

This novel has no story at ALL !! or am I not understanding a female who does not understands the difference between a human and a machine !!!

No..I dont want to say anymore but just wanted to give my opinion..THIS BOOK #!@!# !!

A little bit different......

I have to admit : I'm a big Danielle Steel Fan, but ''The Klone and I'' just wasn't the same for me as all her previous books had been.

The front cover of the book says, ''Her wickedly funny number one bestseller'' and I have to admit that, yes, there was some very funny parts in it, but lets put it this way, when I put down the book, I really had no desire to read it again! It wasn't one of those books that makes you want to stay awake all night reading.

THe story centers around Stephanie, who is deserted by her husband for a younger woman, leaving her with two children, alone. Then she meets Peter, some high tech kind of guy, who, after a period of time, manages to turn her world upside down along with his clone - to the extent that she is no longer sure of who she likes more - the Klone or Peter.

It all gets a little confusing at one point, well it did for me anyway.

I don't feel that it was one of Danielle Steel's best books, I think that many people have bought it just because of the author. If you are into all the serious romance that pulls at your heartstrings as most other Danielle Steel's books do - then don't get this one!

The klone and I...This is yet another great read by Danielle Steele...What I found, as usual with her books is that I was unable to put this one down...I just had to continue in order to find the outcome of the story...

It surely made me giggle...Anyways the book is about Stephanie who is married to Roger...They also have two children, Charlotte who is just going into those awkward teenage years and Sam, who younger...

Roger states that he no longer loves Stephaine and he leaves her for another woman...Wait for it...a much younger and provocative women...

This leads Stephanie to take a long hard look at herself...

Out go the old flannel nighties and in come her new clothes and hairstyles...While on a trip to France she meets and makes friends with Peter, whom she discovers lives nearby. They continue their friendship when they return home...

Before long Stephanie realises that she is falling for Peter in a big way...Unfortunately he has to go away on business but he does leave a surprise for her. The surprise lands on her doorstep the next day in the form of a klone called Paul. He dresses and acts differently much to the delight of the children. This is where Stephanies life is turned into an array of new experiences and mixed emotions...

Looking exactly alike, but with completely different personalities and dress sense, Stephanie is unsure which one she is in love with. Fed up with living a double life, she is just about to end the relationship when she receives one final surprise....

Read the book to find out what happens next..
