Hello friends. I am used by kingfiser is not power full airlines india and one of few in the wold .frist I would like to mention that like its owner this airlines very not intersating product inside the aircraft, there are power and not bast qulity . ther is sense of sophisitcated and standard ambiance . flight attendants are smarter and dashing . there was a GPS navigation system atteched behind every seat so that passengers could chek the direction of flights . I called the told free number.

Kingfisher airline is a my favourite. Because I'm safe travel in kingfisher airline. But We are known, no any body is 100% right, this airline is good but I face some problems. My travel time is very short. air hostage is not proper work, she do not give any things at right time.


I am many time travel in this Airline, its very comfortable. My journey is approx 3 hours so I read some books or magazine.if Kingfisher changment in airline so I hope she is very best. I hope you understand.

Hey folks, As we all know'Kingfisher Airlines' was ceased a while ago due to some losses problems in it. It had three cabin classes in domestic flights including K.red, K.class and k.first.


There inflight entertainment system was so good with top class food and beverages service.


The bad thing is we all should not surprised on its ceasing, as theere refund policy was pathetic even they did'nt refund my money after cancellation of my ticket.


Nothing to recommend.

I am going to share my personal experience about kingfisher Airlines. This airlines is very popular airline in India. many people like this airlines because its security system is good.


We are known, no any body is 100% right, this airline is good but I face some problems. My travel time is very short. air hostage is not proper work, she do not give any things at right time.


I am many time travel in this Airline, its very comfortable. My journey is approx 3 hours so I read some books or magazine.


If you want to travel this airline then service of this airline is not so good because she is late work otherwise she do not work at right time and some time face other problem and also this airline not reach at right time.

I first flew by Kingfisher Airlines in the year 2007 from Agartala to Guwahati. Then, I flew several times from Kolkata to Agartala vice versa. I also travelled Bangalore from Kolkata with Kingfisher.


First, I would like to mention that like its owner, this airlines also has a certain charisma and charm associated with it. It was elegant and trendy.


Inside the aircraft, there is a sense of sophisticated and standard ambiance. Flight attendants are smarter and dashing. There was a GPS navigation system attached behind every seat so that passengers could check the direction of the flights. When the air hostess prompts the safety and security measures, you could also watch the same on this system.


Flights were a bit small and once I flew in a Boeing plane and I even could not sit properly and my knees started paining when I  landed. This was the negative side.


I have opted for king fisher airlines when my in laws visited my city first time and they were also very much impressed with the airlines.  I really cherish all the fond memories associated with this airlines.


I recommend it.

Kingfisher Airlines was the only five star airlines in India and one of the few in the world. and they lived up to their name and of King Of Good Times. I travelled with them on a few occasions and they provided great service right from ticket bookings to airport transfer service, inflight service, baggage handling everything was perfect. also their flights were on time, crew was cordial and the flights comfortable.


I would like to share an incident with you people. me and my family had booked tickets for a morning flight from bangalore to mumbai via Kingfisher and due to some maintenance work at Bangalore airport's runway the flight was preponed. for which they tried to give us prior intimation but being off mumbai limits our phone wasn't reachable. we reached two hours before our flights scheduled time and got to know of this.


Despite it being our fault we were taken care of very well. we were given accommodation till evening in the airport's VIP lounge plus breakfast and buffet lunch coupons at a three star restaurant. our baggages were taken care of and provided tickets for Mumbai in the evening flight. Had a great experience of their hospitality and it showed how well they wanted to keep their reputations high. after that I always flew with KInfisher until it shut down operations.

When we look at the sky and see the birds spreading their wings and fly away, we wondered how they fly. And then came the biggest invention that revolutionized the mankind. It was the invention of the first aircraft then known as aeroplane and eventually evolved into flight. Coz thats what we humans do, we take a flight and fly across.


Every person fantasizes of flying someday. Some of us are blessed to start doing it at a very young age, some of us fly after we start working and some of us fly only post retirement. Then again the diversification is where we fly. Again some of us fly both domestic and international; be it for work or vacation and some of us fly only domestic again for work or vacation.


I remember wanting to sit in the flight and experience it from the time I was a child(which is to say when I understood it). However, the opportunity to fly knocked on my door only after I got my job. The night before my first flight officially to Bangalore, there was ofcourse the excitement but also a tiny bit of nervousness. The nervousness was only because of the fact that I was going out of my comfort zone of Bombay(sorry Mumbai) to an unknown city without my parents and ofcourse by flight. But then, here I was taking my First Flight and what an experience it was.


I was told by my cousin to book the window seat as its my first time, which I wasn’t very keen(as I am more fond of the aisle). I was kind of irritated about the window seat as all you see are the clouds and nothing else.


But there I was. 6:30AM flight from Bombay to Bangalore Kingfisher Airlines on a Window Seat No. 28A with my purse and the book; “Harry Potter & Goblet of Fire” to read. 5-7mins after the take off, I took my eyes off my book to just glance outside the window and that was it. I couldn’t take my eyes off the window. The view that I saw had me mesmerized for the entire 90min flight till the landing. I don’t even remember what was served, what I ate, what beverage I had.


The view had me spell-bound the whole time. The soft cottony clouds, so pure, so white, so pristine like a cotton candy, with the backdrop of the placid blue sky which stretches infinitely. The sun, ascending gradually, first throwing its rays teasingly from between the clouds and steadily blooming to share its light with the world. The scenery never changed till the flight descend slowly. However, what I saw really felt as if its out of some fairy tale and you are in the land of fairies where there’s always light, always fun and always the feeling of tranquility.


After that I have always chosen the aisle seat coz of varios reasons. But I always thank my cousin for the wonderful first flight experience by actually forcing me to book a window seat. Hence, my advice, I usually prefer using the word suggestion instead of advice, for the first timers, is to always book the window seat for your “First Flight” to experience the true beauty and tranquility of the sky and its various paraphernalia. I guess the frequent fliers will agree with me on this;)

No refund - Suggest filing collective fraud case!

Even I've not received any refund of my 4 tickets dated Sept-2012, which amount to over 13k. I tried to contact the customer care many times but no one is attending calls. I'm in extreme distress. Please if you are reading this and have faced a similar fate with kingfisher & want to fight them, please contact me.


I would suggest, if we have sufficient people we can collectively file a police complaint and share the cost of legal proceedings against Kingfisher.


No Refund for Almost a Year

No Refund! 11 Months Now!

On Sep 2, 2012 I booked Kingfisher round trip. Details are as follows:


(i) Mumbai to Chandigarh, Oct 18, 2012 at 11.15 am


(ii) Chandigarh to Mumbai, Oct 21, 2012 at 2.10 pm


The total amount I paid through Internet Banking was Rs 7, 430/- The operations of the airlines were suspended before my date of journey, which was a nation wide story in all the leading news channels.


Steps taken by me:




  1. I called the toll free number given on the website and I was assured that even if the flight has been cancelled I would get my refund in 7 working days.




  2. I waited for 10 days and since I didn't get the refund I called the toll free number again. They again told me that refund has been processed from their end and advised me to wait for another 15 days.




  3. Again after waiting for the refund, I called the same number. They again assured me that my money will be given back to me.




  4. Meanwhile, I sent a couple of complaints through online complaint forum of the Kingfisher website. Eversince, no reply has come.




  5. By then, the toll free numbers and all the landline numbers of the airlines had stopped functioning ('temporarily out of service')




  6. After two months or so, I decided to personally visit the Head Office at Marol, Andheri (E), Mumbai on a weekday.




  7. There a got in touch with Mr. Rodney (if I remember the name correctly) and told him the entire story.






On asking the reason of not getting through phones he replied that our telephone service providers has discontinued our services. He also told me that salaries of employees are not being paid. He said there is an issue with the bank and so payment is actually being blocked by the bank and not Kingfisher per say.


After all this he said our Chairman is 'very positive' that the situation will be under control!


I told him that your company cannot pay your telephone bill and bank dues etc. and you are still 'very positive'!




  1. He took my contact details, wrote it in a diary and he told that he will get in touch with me, which he till date hasn't.




  2. In all, I had got all signs that my hard earned money has been looted by the airlines. Mr. Rodney explained to me that the nature of airline business is such that today's collection of funds even for advance bookings goes for running today's operations. 'I don't care', I replied.






Consequences faced:




  1. Mental stress caused due to calling the airlines again and again and each time telling the entire story via phone and online complaint forum.




  2. Economic loss both direct and indirect. Direct because I have not got my refund since 11 months. Indirect, because I had to re-book the tickets for the trip at the last moment at a very high price.

Kingfisher Airlines are in red and their credibility plunges to the deepest point when they De-planed Mr Arvind Kejriwal , an anti-corruption crusader, without assigning any reason from a Dharamshala Bound Flight, when he was in a queue with a valid boarding pass in his hands to board the plane. He was going to attend a Public Meeting at Dharmshala, Himachal Pradesh.


Their act invite a stringent possible condemnation.


We as Anna Followers are strong enough to swallow insult. You have done no harm to us. But have degraded your Airlines credibility which in any case is lying on a death bed.

I travelled by Indigo recently and would be travelling by Air India in the next couple of days. Without exception one airlines fleeces the customer and the other fleeces the ordinary citizen with no right to be in the air. I travelled by Kingfisher when the going was tough and have to say that the quality of service was never compromised with. Amazing fortitude and I will drink a couple of more beers if it helps keep quality airlines afloat.


We usually respect cost more than quality. Hence, we would never be able to truly appreciate superlative service.

My mother is aged and she is waiting alone at the bhuj airport (gujarat).


Kingfisher cancels their flight without prior intimation or notice. My mother reaches the airport and she is waiting alone.

This incident has happened with me just right away and i am here to express my grudges against this worst airlines named kingfisher airlines. I had booked this ticket 3 months back when my mother wanted to travel to bhuj (gujarat). I invited my bad luck by booking a return ticket for my mother and unfortunately i chose kingfisher airlines.


My mother aged 60 years reaches the airport and to her shock she gets this news that the flight has been cancelled. Can you imagine a lady of 60 years standing at the airport where she has no clue what the hell is going on. While i am writing this review and awaiting some help from kingfisher airlines, my mother is waiting at the airport to get an update from the airport staff. Spoke to several people at kingfisher airlines customer service but they feel very proud by using statements such as "we can do nothing about it"


My question to that a** 'vijay mallya" is "is this how you treat and serve your customers ?"


No matter in what situation you are or what trouble you are facing, it doesnt matter because they hardly care about their customers. No doubt vijay mallya and kingfisher deserve to be on the road as they are cheating government and their customers.


It would be a sincere request to all the people that please never ever make a mistake of travelling through kingfisher airlines as they do not take the responsibility of their customers. They treat you like a piece of sh*t.

Horrible service, no refunds when you want to cancel the flight. The flight gets delayed almost every time. not punctual. Horrible staff. Food is pathetic. Aircraft shaky all the time, risking your life to go by such flight. I would never recommend anyone to go by kingfisher even for a short distance journey, you will regret.

Kingfisher airlines is drowning, falling, crumbling, getting destroyed, no where to go, all hell is broken, only with problems and still it is able to fly as on today.


DEATHS WILL SOLVE.


Can we trust this airline, if there will be tens of crashes in the coming days, death will be in thousands, who will pay for the deaths of innocent passengers.


THREE MONTHS.


Since three months alarming bell on this airline is printed in the news paper and still government is sleeping, we have a govt that give more value for a persons other assets.


HE MAY BE RICH BUT


The owner of this airline may be rich, he is one man show, so criminal the policy of this airline on finance, it is funny this man is not at all placed inside the court premises.


WE LOVE BRANDED DRINKS.


It is time one stop buying any products made by this persons ownership, who knows what kind of bad quality will be awaiting in all of his products.


Don't trust this brand once for all. It is time one should quit and Indians should give up to think of any of this company products.


WHAT WILL HAPPEN.


1 This airline will be permanently closed and other airlines are no better.


2 Airline industry is filled with cheats.


3 Indians have failed to manage airlines, there is more glamour and bad activity that is the reason.


4 Where there is no character be it owner, be it pilots, be it airhostess and staff, when character is lost that airline cant fly.


Take buses, drivers drive properly, conductors are proper and the drive is on the road, where ever a machine fly in the air, there human character is at its lowest from the top to the lowest.


This is what I have observed in decades.


something is very wrong not only with kingfisher airlines, the entire aspect of airlines starting from Airindia, Indian airlines and all other private airlines financial dealings, leasing, office management and also other aspects connected with the management where it is just cheating.


CHEATING MEANS.


Now I may even think there can be cheating airlines where you get tickets without flying and this billing will be adjusted also, so don't fly and get cash discount also.


survival means to cheat public and govt.


To what extent future airlines will harm passengers, that is why we need Mamta banerji type to handle airlines.

Kingfisher airlines has RUINED my vacation. They do not have any idea of providing good customer service. Never will I prefer Kingfisher in future. I had a booking on Kingfisher for 8th April 2012 from Goa to Chennai. I had booked the onward flight and the hotel booking and now Kingfisher cancels the flight due to operational difficulties. They were unable to rebook me on another flight of theirs or other carries.


Now when I have to re-book the return myself the ticket fares are 4 times of what I paid 10 days back. Should I pay 4 times the extra money to return back after a vacation for no fault of mine ??

Whatever the quality of flights, don't risk booking anything with this airline. Our flight Mumbai to Heathrow on14 March 2012 was cancelled without notice, as were all others indefinitely, flights on alternative airlines could not be provided because no other airline would trust Kingfisher to pay for them.  Staff at the check-in desk told us pilots were on strike because they and other staff had not been paid since December. Replacement flights with BA without notice cost us £1200 and now I find out that travel insurance does not cover us.


To operate an airline on this basis and sell seats they had no certainty of providing is tantamount to fraud in my opinion.  Thanks a lot Kingfisher!
