The worst joke book I have ever read. No one will ever laugh on reading this book. the jokes have no quality . I have bought this book from a book store thinking that it is good at looking the cover but when I read it I was shocked because I have never read such a jokes which have no laughter. I just waste my money. the book is nothing and reading this joke book is also a wastage of time.I will recommend you all not to buy this book at all as you will waste your money as well as time.So friend don't waste your precious time in reading this book. I am very disappointed from this book and I know that if you will read you will feel sleepy instead of laughing.

A witty Sardar Ji !
Dec 16, 2015 12:48 PM3881 Views

Khuswant Singh was among the best known journalists of our nation. I have read his articles, books and listened to his profound words.

Now, many claim that Sikhs are very  brash and arrogant people but Khushwant Singh with his witty nature demolished this myth.

He kept on writing jokes on himself often masquerading them as santa and banta -two friends.

Take for instance, his funny  take on Punjab- The only culture known in Punjab is agriculture or Banta: I gave you lift on this spacious bullock cart but why are you still carrying that load on your head! Santa: Because, my conscience does not allow me to over burden your poor bullock!

It is a good book!

When we talk about joke books, Khushwant Singh bis a brand in humour. His joke books has rib-tickling fun and humour. When I read this Big Fat Joke Book I was totally amused by the way he described things. He has a unique writing style and technique to mould the words in a perfect way to make them funny and outrageous.

He had used all the topics including politics, God, sex, doctors and women which he could have turned into jokes.

Really enjoyed reading the book. One of the best joke books I ever had.

Worth a Read

This Book has one of the classic collections of jokes. Ever green jokes and many of them make you laugh for atleast a minute. Worth a read, have already finished it twice. Khushwant Shingh has done it again. He always finds a collection of few good jokes to compile a book.

Gives you jitters of laughter for quite a time. After a lot of time I have read a really good joke book. Recently I have read many joke books but not upto par. Other books have a lot of kiddie jokes and that too the good ones only give you a smile. Author's writing style is also good. Punchline in the jokes is not lost. The collection of Khushwant Singh's joke book series is quite good.

Other books by this author that I will recommend is Company of Women, Train To Pakistan and Collection of Short Stories.
