I had booked a ticket on your bus from Mangalore to Hyderabad VL151(KA01-AA-5546) which left Mangalore on 10 Mar at 1500h. The bus developed multiple mechanical issues on the way and finally broke down completely near Raichur at about 0600h on 11 Mar. Kindly note that 0700h was the arrival time at Hyderabad.
I accept that technical issues happen but the way your company has handled it is deplorable.
The driver was a lone driver. there was no spare driver in the vehicle.
The contact numbers we had(9686125555, 9959111777 and another) were picked up by people who didnt even know what to do. One guy even told us that the company doesnt have a policy to compensate or send another vehicle. One person from your office had the audacity to call up the driver directly and told him to convey to the passengers to make own arrangements.
the passengers included 6 senior citizens, 5 ladies, 01 heart patient. 03 people missed their visa interviews and one guy missed his job interview.
one passenger missed his international flight.
If your staff had co-operated at the first instance when the driver as well as the passengers tried to contact at 0200h and despatched an alternate vehicle, these loses would never have occurred.
Another observation is the fact that the other bus which runs on the same route(VLSPECIAL1) was less than half full but refused to pick up the passengers from the broken down bus.
I expect you to contact the undersigned at the earliest and necessary compensation be made to the passengers at this kind of service from your end.
