Please don't go for kent products. I bought a kent water softener and it is lying useless now. The service is pathetic. They reschedule the service call as though I requested them. And they simply cancel the appointment without any reason. Will never buy a kent product in my life again.

I am using Kent Grand Water purifier. We keep almost most half yearly service at least of Rs3500. Still their product are leaking. Once I informed that please fix it they said it would be chargeable. I said it is their product issue. Then they shared their area manager number and they stop responded my call. Their services are below standards. I don't know on which behalf their products are high cost. But now I am going to change their product. I will aware all the user never purchase kent products. They never put their customers on priority.

I purchased a Kent RO from Reliance Digital. I believe if one buys from Reliance digital, Kent washes their hands off for warranty service. Instead, they direct the customer to Reliance Digital, because Kent has an agreement with Reliance.


Whatever be the agrement with Reliance, a customer should be permitted to complain to Kent & Kent in turn can delegate it to Reliance. Instead they make the customer run around.


Keep away from Kent. Keep away from Reliance digital

Kent poor maintenance

Don't go for Kent. At the time of selling they are saying maintenance will be cheap compared to other brands. I purchased grandplus with 17k, after 18 months filters gone and they charged 5300. But at the time of purchase they said cost would be around 2000. This is kind of cheating. Worst service.

Recently I have had a very bad experience with maintenance and servicing of your product. I am not talking about the product itself but the support provided for them by your so-called "engineers". In the last year, I have called them more than 4 times. The way they approach the solution and handle things has really made me upset. Really shocking to me was that they had no standard procedure to approach the issue. Considering working of your product as a finite set of steps one after another say(step1 then step 2 then step 3 and so on). As a normal human being with normal analytical skills, we know that if the water is not coming in the last step, then you must check every step one by one up to which it is coming. A device not working at say step 5 will not allow water to pass in steps 6, 7, 8.final step. And expected device to be replaced is at step 5 and then again keep checking if the water is coming in the last step or not. If not, then continue with step 5 onward. This is what is expected from your engineers.


In contrary to this what your engineers do is they will see the last stage that the water is not coming and blindly tell you that you need to change the device at step 4, 6, 7(totally random) because the company suggests replacing that part anyhow in this time period. (99% of the time they mention filters here). I just can't get this. How without even inspecting which step is causing the issue, they directly come to the conclusion that(filters) at these random steps need to be replaced.


Few points to be noted here are as follows:-


1- Why are not they following the right approach?


2- What if the issue was only in step 2 and they have already replaced devices at steps 4, 6, 7(random). To fix the system as a whole, they ultimately will have to replace the device at step 2. But they never re-verify whether the device at steps 4, 6, 7 was fine or not. Who is at the losing end here? " The customers" are being fooled and forced to replace even the working parts.


3- Why engineers are very much eager to just replace the filters( I know they need to be replaced at specific intervals but at least verify first the actual issue). This is very annoying that they first change the filters before actually looking into the issue. This is very bad practice on their side. And they do so in the name of the company's standard practice. If that is so, then, believe me, you are looting or cheating your customers.


So, everything above was just a preface. Now coming to my original issue:


When last time the engineer visited my home, just by looking into the machine, he said we need to replace three filters. I told him how can you say that without even checking it. I was expecting him to at least replace those filters with a working one and check whether water is coming up to that filter. Or at least bypass those filters to verify whether we will get the water at the end. He said we are seeing such issues on an everyday basis and by experience, he can say this. I told him maybe the filters are okay but some other parts are defective, to which he said we will have to change the filters first before moving ahead(let me tell you, by this time I already had 3 filters and the pump got replaced by them within a period of 1 year). Not convinced at all by his approach to solving the issue, I asked him not to work on it.


Now, at this point, I gave up my expectations of your company providing me some engineer who can approach the solution right(normal) way. I convinced myself that I will have to discontinue your product considering the maintenance cost( more than 8 k in one year) with such attitude of engineers.


Now comes the self-analysis part.


Warning to general customers: Please don't do this yourself, otherwise the company may not entertain your further request saying only their engineers are entitled to handle this. I did it because anyhow I had lost all hopes and was mentally ready to put the machine to scrap.


After convincing myself and before putting the machine directly into scrap. I thought why not try my hands directly on this to understand the issue.


In my self-analysis (thanks to YouTube) this is the steps(component-flow-diagram) that I encountered in my machine(these are just the one I looked for specific to my issue, there can be many more):


STEPS / DEVICES:


1-pipe(tap to Pre-filter)


2- Pre-Filter


3- Pipe(Pre-Filter to Inline-Sediment-Filter)


4- Inline-Sediment-Filter


5 Pipe(Inline-Sediment-Filter to Solenoid-Valve)


6- Solenoid-Valve


7- Pipe(Solenoid-Valve to Pump)


8- Pump


9- Pipe(Pump to Inline-Carbon-Filter)


10- Inline-Carbon-Filter


11- Pipe(Inline-Carbon-Filter to TDS-Adjuster)(Also to RO-Membrane-Filter but ignoring this path)


12- TDS-Adjuster


13- Pipe(TDS-Adjuster to UF-Filter)


14- UF-Filter


15 - Pipe(UF-Filter to clean water tank)


Note: I have not mentioned SMPS or path for sink/dirty-out water which starts at step 11 and passing through RO-Membrane.


After analyzing the system step by step, I found that the device was defective at step 6(Solenoid-Valve) itself. It means no further water supply on all further steps." I was expecting your engineers to find this".


After ordering and replacing this part and continuing the analysis, the next defective device was at step 12(TDS-Adjuster). A point to note here is that both step 6(Solenoid Valve) and step 12(TDS adjuster) are NOT FILTERS(which your engineers are eager to replace).


After replacing these two steps I was able to get water supply in clean water.


I don't want to say that filters are not required to be changed, but PROPER ANALYSIS MUST BE DONE BY YOUR ENGINEERS.


It hugely impacts the confidence of customers in your service. And ignorance on this part impacts badly on the pockets of customers who have to pay a huge amount for the mistakes of your engineers. Having said that, I hope that you take this message in a constructive way and bring your attention to improve this. By the way, I would be more than happy to have an engineer visit my home to re-analyze all the machines with the RIGHT APPROACH.


Also, replace parts at step 6 and 12 with genuine Kent Part( they both combined cost me approx Rs 500 i.e much lesser than replacing three filters)

I bought Kent grand plus zww MRO purifier in lat wee of August last year. In 5 months I have called their technician 5 times for water overflow problem which they are not able to fix. During this period they have changed parts although for free I wonder what kind of product they are selling. I bought it to the notice of their team but they don't seem to bother. Please don't buy Kent products else you will have this headache.

Hi .I purchased kent Grand for 18k, after 6months it started to create a problem, when I asked with technician about this issue he said every year minimum 5k will be maintenance costs..then I calculated if I buy mineral water 20 ltr it will cost me near about 4k per year..


If u compare with kent RO u need to pay 18k for machine 5k maintenance+ electricity ..so please if planning to buy it's waste of money.

Never ever thought that a company like Kent will under value water. The amount of water that gets wasted is unbelievable. Every time the system works the redundant water in the system flows out and is wasted, . I wonder why that water is not being recycled. Extremely unhappy and sad to see the water being wasted at a time when the world is close to facing water crisis. I hope Kent thinks seriously about this and provide a solution

I have purchase Kent uv ro last year and it creating problem from last 6 months.I have call for service than the first technician change the carbon filters , after one month problem started again the second technician say to change other filter, third one says to change the motor and fourth one says the default is in membrane. It was ridiculous I am fad up of this I strongly recommend that do not purchase the product of this company.

My multiple mails on the AMC issue has not got answered and when I escalated the issue to CEO , Mahesh Gupta, he didn't even bother to respond. I have taken AMC by paying 7, 500 in B'glore through a distributor and I was told that it works Pan India. Then I moved to Hyderabad and the when I tried contacting Kent for re installation only to realise that my AMC details are not updated in the system. I was then told to send a mail to Customer Service and I did the same. For four days, the only response I got was that my issue is being looked into ASAP. But their ASAP is not actually ASAP, it's ALAP, As late as possible. My initial mail to them didn't specify that I moved to Hyderabad. However, when they were not responding even after multiple mails, in my final mail, I told them that I moved to Hyderabad and that because of delay in reinstallation, my family is not able drink pure water and that we are facing health issues. They then took this as a reason to say that my AMC doesn't work in Hyderabad and it only works in B'glore and that's not the right answer because the distributor got the AMC updated in Kent systems for Pan India. So, I escalated this issue to CEO and even after sending 2 mails, he didn't have the courtesy to at least acknowledge my email.

When I went for my studies in my capital city, I purchased this kent optima(11016) 10 L water purifier for my own use and within 8 weeks of its uses the water was unabled to prossesed for furifying. as the water was unable to pass to the second layer and mostly the UF membrane stops functioning even after cleaning in regularly. the charcoal provided in in was not of good quality and it changes the tastes of water and also the design in which it is made creates a lot of problems while cleaning the containers of it. its servicer center is not acceseble easily so that one can go and check-it-out for its another parts. all these sorts of problems makes me so horrible that at last I just dumpt this stuff in one corner of my house. I will never reccomend for this product. 9

The worst service ever. I requested for my Kent service on 16 dec 2020. I say in Gurgaon. I confirmed my address as well while requesting for the service. But they placed the request for sone Chhattisgarh address. I got so many calls from Chhattisgarh guy and I told him that’s not my location but he kept calling me again n again. I again called service desk but this time they dint picked up and some how my request again divered to udisa. Then I got minimum 10 calls from udisa guy.


Since morning I have received minimum 40 calls from different locations and in evening by luck my call got connected to service centre and when I explained this to the lady who picked the call. Instead of resolving my problem She rudely cut my call in between.


This kind of service is provide by such big company. Shame on this.

Worst purifiers i ever see these kind of worst purifiers with in 2 years i spent for maintainance, more than the amount which i spent for buying it. Before buying Kent purifier I used local company purifier i bought it for less than half of the money which I spent for KENT purifier, which had worked more than 8 years with very less maintenance. Please don't buy KENT purifiers friends. You can get the local company purifiers with less price and works far better than KENT purifiers.

Worst products. I am using kent RO which is worst product and overall worst service. When you book the service request they will automatically cancel this and you have to book it again. I have changed partRO filter which even not worked for a month.

Let me tell you my experience with them. They run only through franchise who service the product. When selling the product they say 3 year warranty, however you go deeper warranty is only for one year, other two years parts have to be paid by you.


Now let me come with my experience, I called them during one warranty the technician came and didnt even touch the machine, asked is this in warranty. He heard under warranty and said everything ok and walked off.


I decided to call them again after 4 months, This time the technician see its out of parts warranty and immediately says filter has to be changed. Total scam job. Never buy Kent products
