Kenstrar MG - 9603 - Horrible Service

I would like to second the comments given by Venkatesh below as to how horrible this Kenstar mixie is and how bad their customer service is. Kenstar claims that they have 12 years warranty on the motor and I have had problems with the mixie from the day I got it. Now the motor of the mixie is gone and its within 12 years and I have approached 2 service centres of Kenstar (Cook Wave & Take care India Pvt LTD in Vadapalni and both of them fail to give me a new motor which is in Warrany. I had to pay them 1200 Rs for this motor and Kenstar has cheated me from the day I got this machine.


I would strongly recommend all consumers to not buy this product as they have a very bad after sales service and the quality of the product is bad.


I am taking this up in the consumer court with all the necessary proff claiming they are not covering the motor within the 12 months and they have charged me for the motor which is in Warranty.


Venkatesh please write to me and we can team up and take this up in the consumer court. Anybody from Kenstar interested to solve this issue before going legally can reply back asking for my contact details and I would be glad to talk to you else we all will face in the court.

Pathetic mixers and Pathetic services

This is Venkatesh from J P Nagar, Bangalore. We purchased the kenstar mixer from Bigbazaar here. Got it sometime in December last year, after proper biasing and brainwashing from the dealer .


The kenstar people, I don't understand why they are giving 12 years warranty for their mixers. Bugging, my mixer brokedown 3 times in six months. Now it is not working . Feel like they've sold us a defective piece.


The sader part now is, on calling their service centers, they are playing around with us, asking us to talk to n different people, some ask for complaint number, some ask for phone number, but nobody turns up to even check why the mixer is not working.


I'm frustrated with their products, the brand and the service . I want to really throw their stuff on their face and get my money back with interest. Why can't these people be honest in selling products, and give us the products worth for our money.

As I travelled to US and I need 110V I brought this product.


Also the salesman said that it could be converted back to 230V once I come to India.


The first day in US, I thought of preparing IDLI.I soaked about 75gm of rice/25gm of toor dhal.


After 4hrs when the contents are ready to grind. I placed dhal and water in the mixie jar.


Now I switched on the mixie. just within 10secs, the mixie stopped.


Waited for another minute and again switched the mixie, now also same way.


But for the third time no more power.


I really got shocked to have my country product without quality.


I better would have brought one in US.


The amount is going to the same, and you get a good quality product.


If not they will refund your money back .


In US we could get a Oster 12 speed blender for 39$.
