This place is a perfect place to get a taste of Authentic Mangalorean Cuisine. The food is really awesome. People are nice. Very hospitable.
The decor is also something that catches the eyes. I have gone only for dinners and so the dim lighting kind of appealed to me. They have no fans. They have those jute shades that let nice breeze through but would keep sun and rain out. At your table, they provide small candles.
Which, though romantic, is something that need re-thinking as it gets quite tough to read their very unique kind of menu. All items are printed on Postal Stamps and stuck. Kind of nice to see.
The food, as I have already mentioned is great. I felt they were quite pricey, but being a Mangalorean myself, didn't mind that too much as there are not many restaurants that I know off which have similar cuisines. For starters, I would suggest every one to go in for a glass of fresh sugarcane juice(also recommended by another of mouthshut reviewers) and a mutton sukka. Though a starter, you can still have Mutton Sukka with Neeru Dosa. For main course, again, Mutton Curry is good. Kori Rotti is also worth a try.
So this is it. I would suggest people to definitely give it a shot once. It's a family restaurant. They accept all the common cards. No Liquour is sold on board but you can get them along and it will be served. Quite a weird thingy to me.
I give it a rating of "Excellent". Not for daily viisits, but once in a while, Yes.
