John Williams

John Williams is the best and most experienced music director in the entire Hollywood . Regardless of whether it is the old STAR WARS trilogy or the new Minority Report or Catch Me If You Can, John has maintained his superiority over other music directors. Also he is a great orchestorial music scorer. Williams’ scores for such films as Jaws, E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial, Schindler's List, as well as the Indiana Jones series, have won him multiple awards and produced best-selling recordings. His scores for the original Star Wars trilogy transformed the landscape of Hollywood film music and became icons of American culture. I love the STAR WARS theme music composed way back in 1977. That music is more than enough to reveal his passion and talent in scoring music. It was Spielberg who recommended John to George Lucas. George wanted the score of an epic. But looking at the success of the movie track, he himself and the records release company could not believe it . His music too is a major force behind the success of STAR WARS . I feel his masterpiece is STAR WARS' Vader theme. His score in Episode II's love scenes also are noteworthy- ever noticed the music scored when they kiss near the lake ? It beats the Lord Of The Rings' romantic music. Awards won : John Williams is the winner of five Academy Awards, 17 Grammys, three Golden Globes, two Emmys and five BAFTA Awards from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.
