Music lovers get ready for an album which will make you want to hit the rewind button each time you listen to a song! Yes people this album is Jhankaar Beats and no the movie does not have any famous faces like Salman khan or Hrithick Roshan! It also does not have a high rated music director like AR Rehman or Anu Malik!

Vishal Dedlani is the composer and Shekar gave beautiful lyrics to this great album, this album has awesome voices mostly the highlight was KK and Shaans singing in this album. Vishal and Shekar have done a wonderful job, this album was not highly recognised due to not having the huge star cast, but this album still managed to win a zee cine award for Shaan for best singer of 2004 in the song ?Suno na?, I think it is well deserved.

Boss kaun hai ? This song is very funny and it is a tribute to Mr Burman who made beautiful music back in the evergreen days. Amit Kumar has sung this song very well along with Shekar and Vishal. But this song tends to get boring sometimes so I forward some of it because it does drag but it has excellent https://lyrics.

Suno na ? This song is just so beautiful, a song about someone calling out to there crush and wanting to be heard as the line goes ?door ho kar bhi door tum nahi ho, paas ho lekin pass kyon nahi ho?. The music is very light and not very hard, the piano and violins and guitars mix with the song and the music carries the beautiful lines to another leval where the song can really hit you with its lines and its music. Shaans singing is just amazing, you will just have to hear it to believe it the emotions he puts in his lines is amazing his voice is fresh, clear and too good! If you have a crush play this song on your walkman while she/he is around it will make so much sense what this song is actually about evan if you have not seen this movie.

Tu Aashique hai ? This is song sung by KK, This song is very different, it?s a song about love and god. It is a song which is quiet and loud at times. It has a rock background with hard drums and the lyrics are just amazing I do not know where they come up with these https://lyrics. The song starts of slow and slowly as it goes on it goes fast, you can hear the soft background and then the claps come in, Soon the guitar comes in to the song and when he utters that Line ?TU AASHIQUE HAI? You fell the music tempo getting higher. The music finally breaks threw fully when KK says the beautiful lines ?tera chera roshni hai, tu mohabbat hai tu asshique hai? The drums, the guitars and the background singers are all in there for that part of the song and you have to do and listen to the beautiful lines, simply just an amazing song!

Jab Kabhie ? This song is sung by KK and Mahalakshmi Iyer, this a really nice love song, it starts of slow with amazing singing by both KK and Iyer, the girls lend support in this song as well. This song starts of slow and it gets loud with the guitars and drum beats and dies down again to a silent song. The lyrics are just amazing especially at the ending lines ?Zindagi Hogi Jhaanat agar tum Pass hoon?. This has got a rock background to it as you can hear the drums a point in this song very clearly! And it finishes on the guitar! Simply yet again an amazing song!

Tera Muskurana ? This is sung by shaan it has funky 80s start and it starts of with shaans excellent voice, it starts of slow and then the words ?kesa yeh nasha hai tere pyaar ka? Gets shouted out and then the song takes a fully turn to become a fast and bouncy song, the lyrics are just amazing and the instruments are used very nicely. The electric guitar is used in this song a lot. I especially like the ending when shaan shows of his talent when he says ?KESA YEHHH(With a huge YEHH) NASHA HAI TERA PYAAR KA? Before he does that the music dies down so it concentrates on his voice and then hits back with the hard rocking music again. This is one of my favourite tracks of the album but its quiet a short song!

Ruk Ruk? This song is a great song, it has reminded me of the voice in the song Yuma Yuma, this and the title song ?Jhankar? is very good with good hard rocking music a decently a must hear at least once for music lovers

Here comes the Main course, the last song in the film

Hume Tumse pyaar kitna ? Amit kumar and KK lends there voice for this song, this classic old song from the film Kudrat has been remixed with refreshing music. People might say ?oh no, not another remix they just destroy great songs? This is so not like that yes the song has been changed (music vise) But the voice is amazing and it?s a tribute to this wonderful song. You think its just music but when KK Jumps In with ?tu Hi dil hai, tu Hi Jaan bhi hai.? You think Wow this remix just got better. Yes it shocked me when tu Ashique hai got mixed with this song and you know? what it sounds amazing!!! It gave the song an upbeat sound which makes you want to press the rewind buttons when KK comes in with tu Asshiqe hai. It also plays on the electric guitar the theme for suno na which makes it better to listen to. Simply a beautiful remix well done to the composers and singers for this bouncy remix track!

That?s it, these tacks above are the tracks that I loved in this album the movie nor this album got full credit for, and both the movie and album was really outstanding. I think both should have been at least hits, because if this aint great music dear god please tell me what is?

This year has been fairly good in terms of MUSIC..............there have been some great music albums this year,my favourite being JISM,JHANKAAR BEATS,KUCH NA KAHO,TEHZEEB and KHAKEE.JHANKAAR BEATS is an awesome album...........with some brlliant compositions from VISHAL and SHEKAR,fabulous lyrics by VISHAL and good singing by SHAAN and KK.But sadly it was an very under-rated album.And that is why I decided to write a review on this album so late so that I could let people know that if they have not listened to the music of JHANKAAR BEATS,they have missed out on something very special.JHANKAAR BEATS is a classic...........an album which you'll enjoy for a long time to come.

There are ten songs in the album..............and i'll list a few of my favourite songs,and you can pick the album for these songs alone.

SUNO NA................WHAT A SONG!I just loveeeeeeeee this song,it is soo beautifully composed,written and sung by SHAAN-the current superstar.Everytime I listen to SHAAN's voice in this song it makes me cry,there is so much depth in his voice.SUNO NA is the most romantic song oF the year,hands down.SUNO NA..............ko jaroor suniyo.

TU AASHIQUE HAI..........THis onE is a classic.A beautiful composition,very fresh and new in terms of tune and instrumenttion,lyrics are nice too...............and KK lifts the song to greater heights with his singing.I just love the opening lines in this song and also the way the choruS is used.TU AASHIQUE ROCKS!

JAB KABHIE..............is a love ballad,beautifully sung by MAHALAKSHMI IYER and KK.This song too is so different from the other love songs which keep coming out these days.The tune is very fresh and modern with a rock base.............lyrics are nice too and the singing makes the song sound perfect.

TERE MUSKARANA.............is another of my favourite song from this album.Its a very peppy,fast-paced fun song...........which you'll like instantly.SHAAN has done a very good job singing the song...........a very likable number.

HUMEIN TUMSE PYAR KITNA..............is a remix version of the originl song from KKUDRAT,but here it has been re-arranged with the song TU AASHIQUE HAI.............and the effect is memersing.I just love this song.............its soo very good and the voices used in this song are great too..........esp AMIT KUMAR,its so good to listen to his voice after a long time.He is well supported by KK.

BOSS KAUN THA.............is a song dedicated to GOD OF MUSIC-R.D.BUMAN.Its a very jhakaas song.............nice catchy tune,lyrics are funny and singing by AMIT KUMAR,VISHAL and SHEKAR is fine too.

These are some of the great songs in the album..................the rest like JHANKAAR BEATS,JO GAYA VO GAYA,RUK RUK and SAHI HAI RE..................are nice too but the above mentioned songs are the best in the album and just make sure you buy the album and listen to them coz they are really good.

I have never been a great fan, when it comes to re-mix songs and music. I have always feel they degrade the quality of master piece. But I have always noticed younger generation who liked fast music and loud band playing have always appreciated that and it is also very popular outside India. Older generation have always criticized that as they have always liked slow music.

But my views regarding re-mix music changed, when I listened to the re-mix song from Jhankaar Beats; Hamein Tumse Pyaar Kitna. For the first time I felt that re-mix can be good and you can actually enjoy the old songs with new music. All the lyrics for this album has been written by Vishal Dedlani and music is given by Vishal and Shekher. I have personally never heard about these names before and it is very much possible that I have lost touch with new artist coming in the Industry but if they are new comers, then I should say they have done excellent job, not only in writing lyrics but also in providing suitable music.

Songs in the album which I liked are:

1) Boss Koun Hai, Malum Hai Kya

It's a very hilarious song, giving tribute to S.D. Burman. It has been very well sung by Amit Kumar, Vishal and Shekhar.

2) Hamein Tumse Pyaar Kitna

It's a re-mix song with excellent music and singers Amit Kumar, KK and Chorus have done very good job in singing that gem with new music.

3) Pehele To Bombay Tha, Mumbai Ho Gaya

Very nice song, criticizing the change of names of the cities but also stressing changing the name has not changed the lifestyle of Bombay. This song is sung by Udit Narayan and Chorus.

4) Dil Ne Tum Ko Chun Liya Hai, Tum Bhi Isko Chunno Na Very nice slow romantic love song and very well sung by Shaan.

There are other songs in the album which are also good but these are my favorites. Overall I rate this album very good and would suggest you carry this CD or Cassette when you go for long drives.
