Jehan Numa Palace is the place where many bollywood stars have been visited from long time. There was a movie named 'Rajneeti' Its shooting scences where held in jehan numa. I've been going from many years for various functions and weddings. Food category is very luxuries. Lights and decoration for weddings are marvellous

YOUR RATING ON
Very Sincere and courteous staff and its architecture converted into a hotel with all modern amenities blended beautifully and to add to it. It has nice breakfast spread. It also has multiple in house cafe's.Nice place to walk, sit and relax and enjoy. staff very courteous, lots of interesting historic artifacts and photos from imperial era. lovely pool and nice restaurant. amazed by hotel very own horse track, if you feel galloping. food and rooms exceptional. place to stay if you happen to be in Bhopal and like history.
I had some sweet memories associated with Bhopal & in particular Jehan Numa Palace. I stayed at this heritage hotel after 21 years & was totally floored with the old world charm and pristine spotless white appearance(exteriors, interiors, white marble passages & flooring). The staff treats each guest with extreme care & courtesy. Food in all 4 restaurants is yummy & aesthetically presented & served. The property is located amidst lush green surroundings on top of the Shyamala Hills, facing the big lake We are already planning our next visit to this 19th century palace converted to a luxury hotel.
The hotel is located in the heart of the beautiful and royal city of Bhopal. This hotel has the royal and historic feel. The rooms here are very comfortable and the compound is very clean. The food is excellent though a bit costly.Room service is excellent and any problem is resolved in no time.
The pool area is the certain high point of this hotel. The decorations all around are also very beautiful and eye pleasing. I'll highly recommend a stay here, for the beautiful ambience and serene beauty, if you happen to visit Bhopal.
It was a hundred years ago by the son of Begum of Bhopal, now this place has converted into grand heritage Hotel, with it's that old charm.
Having luxury feeling when you will enter inside this grand heritage hotel, The rooms are so luxurious and will give full marks to Darbar hall. Really if you want to feel how kings Lives than must visit here and stayed in this grand heritage Jehan Numa Palace Hotel of Bhopal.
At evening the cloudy weather and the wide courtyards of this hotel adds aristocratic ambiance. At dinner, Bhopali cuisine was best, as I am pure veg so tried Bafla, a sweet wheat cake. Must try Bhopali Paan.
There is also Italian Restaurant. And at early morning, must visit Upper Lake, just at a walking distance from the Hotel, to exploring Nature, and Sun rise.
Overall my all experience was best there. This hotel not much expensive, but better to book a room before you will go there. Service is very good, comfortable and friendly environment.
I stayed 2 nights in October 2010. The rooms first provided smelt strongly of cigarette smoke. Astonishing how reckless and careless the staff were even though I had specifically asked for smoke-free room. I got the room changed at 11.45 p, m after a late check in
My new room was at least smoke-free but hot water was a big problem. The solar heating in the hotel sometimes took 15 mins to take effect, wash basin leaked water and needed immediate attention. All this when you check in late at night and it really tests your nerves.
The next day we had breakfast - continental and indian style. Worst of all - flies in the dining room. While food was good, hygiene left much to be desired. I am not sure why these hotels go for fancy Danish/Dutch cheese that is not even refrigerated or stored properly in a hot country like India - and then these taste spoilt!. Yuck! After this I resolved never to try these cheeses anywhere in India - its best to stick to our Amul cheese slices only.
All in all I found this hotel falling way short of expectations - the front desk and hotel staff also have an imperious attitude like they are doing a favor! Rubbish - I checked out for the next 2 nights in hotel Ashok, Not withstanding the government hotel image, it was far better with good views of the lake as well. Definitely not worth the money.
During My Visit to Bhopal last month, I stayed at Jehan Numa Palace and was surprised to see a hotel of this kind in a city like Bhopal. I stayed at Regal Room which is almost a centuary old is well maintained and reminds you of the Nawabi era. The ambience is cozy and you have so much to hang around with in their welness centre, cyber cafe etc that you are never bored.
Though they have a few restaurant I choose Under thr Mango Tree for one of my dinner. As the name says, the open air restaurant is actually under a old mango tree and the food served there is just fantastic. Its a Bar-be Que restaurant and Tangri Kabab is not to be missed from a elaborate menu they have to offer. Infact a visit to Bhoapl is incomplete without a dinner at Under the Mango Tree. As they rightly say Its a surprise Bhopal showers on you.
