Jawani Deewani - thats right ain't it homies. The Indian Music scene is flipping, be ready to see more of Fusion/RAP/Hip-Hop and whatever you can think of. This Album is made keeping the youth of today in mind and yes their trick has definetly worked, got this album today and away was I blown.
Track 1 - Jawani Deewani, sung by Bobby Moon, Music by : Clinton Cerejo & Lyrics written by : Shabbir Ahmed, as you will notice is the title track, in short describing Imraan Hasmi's life 24x7.
Track 2 - Dil Deewana, sung by Sonu Nigam, Hamza Farooqui, Sowmya Rao, Music by : Sajid-Wajid & Lyrics written by : Shabbir Ahmed, is a dance number with an arabic flavour, sung expertly by Sonu like always, keeps your feet tapping and when the song ends you will definetely crave for more -- Beware its Addictive.
Track 3 - Sini Ne Sini Ne (remix), sung by Suhaas, Music by : Sidharth, Suhaas, (Vedic Chant) & Lyrics writen by : Kumaar, this song definetly rises in my charts my most favorite song in the whole album, has a nice trance feeling at the start and moves to techno a definet dance floor number that will rock the floor.
Track 4 - Jiska Mujhe Intezaar, sung by K. K., Suzanne D'Mello, Music by : Sajid-Wajid & Lyrics written by : Shabbir Ahmed, an ok so so song which would have sounded good as a slow romantic song, but the music director has made justice to the writers ink, it reminds you of Chocolate and Musafir songs.
Track 5 - Yaad Teri Yaad, sung by Abhijeet Sawant, Shreya Ghoshal, Music by : Sajid-Wajid & Lyrics written by : Shabbir Ahmed, this is as per my knowledge Abhijeet Sawant's first playback song for a Movie Soundtrack, as it suits to Abhijeet to sing nice mushy romantic songs its a likeable song, Shreya as usual flows with the flow and give Abhijeet a nice support, Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu Watch Out.
Track 6 - Dilruba, sung by Sunidhi Chauhan, Music by : Sajid-Wajid & Lyrics written by : Shabbir Ahmed, this song has Sunidhi written all over it, from the start to the end, it comes so natural to her to sing such powerful songs, when you close your eyes and try to imagine the song sequence, you will definetly see Sushmita Sen from Fida.
Well at the end of this small review all I would say is - A good Job Done
Pros : New Talents brought forth
Cons : A little more hardwork could have done magic
- Thank You! We appreciate your effort.
