James Last- Classics From Russia

Well, this isn't a review of James Last-Classics from Russia but instead the mother of all his albums 'James Last-Gold'. It contains some of his biggest hits. Had the audio CD picked up from Dubai Duty Free this year.Was lucky as it was the last copy. Its quite hard to get hold of such classics here in india.

His songs have always played on the family music system. Used to listen to his compositions as a kid on cassettes. Dad was a big fan and I remember all those casettes line up on the cupboard. Felt very nostalgic when played the CD the first time.

Moreover it was a treat since I was carrying my music system to India. A 3.1 Jamo i300.What more could I ask for. The songs would appeal to those who love to listen to their music sitiing on a couch, with lights off or eyes closed feeling each and every instrument, visualising the maestro doing the needful.

All the songs are worth a mention but the best are 'Biscaya' 'El Condor Pasa' 'Der Ensame Hirte' 'Traumerie (The tune in the Raymond Ads) and 'Guantanamera'. Apologies.......the feelings after hearing such music cannot be expressed in words however a must buy if found on the shelve.
