Jabra Elite Active 65t is good
Apr 12, 2020 02:01 AM 440 Views (via Mobile)

Hey guys i am here to review about jabra Elite active 65t which i am using now.

First i will talk about sound which is the most important thing. So the audio quality is excellent, something i was not expecting initially, play a title like beat it by Michael Jackson, the ear buds offers a crisp vocals even bass has punch. Call quality sound better, especially in noisy environment. This is possible because there are four microphones built into each earbud that filter out ambient sound.

The Jabra Elite Active 65t are designed for runners or people working out. Its IP56-rated design makes them splash-resistant and dust-resistant. Apple AirPods, in comparison, are not water-resistant. The Elite Active 65t fit perfectly in your ears and don’t fall out, making them as secure as any other true wireless earphones that I have tested.

Elite Active 65t does support Bluetooth 5.0 connection, which guarantees you a more stable wireless connection with fewer drops.

Battery life lasts five hours, with a carrying case you will get about two more additional charges.

Jabra Elite Active 65t review: Conclusion

Jabra Elite Active 65t offers durable design, better audio, and enhanced call quality when compared to the AirPods. I’m not sure how many Apple fans would be keen on picking up the Elite Active 65t over the AirPods. But in case if you are looking to buy a pair of wireless earbuds for running, Jabra Elite Active 65t is a better option.

Jabra Revo Bluetooth Headset
Jan 11, 2020 06:55 PM 700 Views

I used to be an avid user of Jabra products. Till date, I have used a variety of Jabra products. These included earphones, speaker, speakerphone and headset. I am not the only one of course. I love talking about my gadgets. As a result, anything I bought, my social circle namely family, friends, colleagues and acquaintances would automatically hear of it. You could say that to a certain extent I am an influencer. Based on my input, I know of people who have also gone ahead and bought Jabra products, apart from other brand products. The point to note here is that Jabra products are expensive - in fact, prohibitively expensive. Hence, most people may give it a go-by rather than spend so much money on it when equally good products are available at possibly half or even quarter of the rate Jabra products are priced at.

Take for example, the Jabra Elite Active 65t. It is priced around Rs.16, 999/- on https://jabra.in and on other eComm portals around Rs.12, 000/- whereas a good quality BoAt bluetooth Airdopes cost around Rs.2, 500/-. So, it is but natural that a price+ quality conscious customer would wonder which one to go for - Jabra or another alternative like BoAt. The alternatives may not always be in the same league as Jabra but the price more than balances it. Also, it is not as if Jabra products never have complaints. Do a cursory search and you will find the innumerable complaints on its products. Quite a few of them are shocking!

Anyway, I am citing my own experience as an example for potential customers who want to strike a delicate balance between quality and price, somewhat similar to Jabra and BoAt. Be very thoughtful on what you want to buy. Would you be fine buying Jabra for Rs.12, 000/- when a perfectly fine alternative is available around Rs.2, 000/-? May be, you would still choose Jabra. I know I did when I purchased Jabra Revo Bluetooth Wireless Headset for an exorbitant amount of Rs.13, 000/-. I thought it was worth it. My reasons were that it was a well recognised brand and in future, if I needed support for parts / replacements / repairs, it would not let me down compared to an alternative that is known as well as Jabra.

Well, I erred and fabulously! The battery of my Jabra Revo headset ran out sometime back. I wrote to Jabra that I would need replacement of the battery. Guess what, they asked me to take a hike. They could not do anything since they do not have parts. Warranty is limited and device is end of life. Now, may be ordinary customer does not understand legalese. He trusts Jabra would not let him down when he needs it most! To put it bluntly, I felt absolutely cheated. I reiterated that I was prepared to pay for the replacement but to no avail. Basically, this expensive gadget is now absolutely useless even though it was taken with extreme care and looks as good as new!

Now, on hindsight, I feel I never should have bought such an expensive product because this is what it would have turned out to be and it did turn out so! I checked the internet and apparently, there are multitude of complaints about Jabra and its customer service.

Now you at least have the benefit of my experience behind me. When you buy Jabra - beware! Their quality is not so damn high that you need to pay exorbitantly and be cheated later! Best to buy good tested alternatives at half or quarter the cost! This is my advice to you based on my personal experience! I have already communicated this to my family, friends, colleagues, acquaintances and social circle. Now, I am also letting you all nameless persons know! Factor my experience and insight when you purchase an expensive product and then do what you will!

The summary of this review is all too familiar for everyone of us through the adage - Think twice before you leap!

The device is great for use for everyday commute
Oct 21, 2019 06:22 PM 592 Views (via Android App)

I've been using Jabra Ellie active 65t for about a year and half. The usability is excellent for your daily commute or a quick gym session. The noise cancelling feature is decent for an earpod version of headset but it would be unfair to expect high quality noise cancelling.

The case however is a little disappointing. The battery life on the charging case is fifteen hours which is more than your other expensive headsets out there but what disappointed me was that the earpieces just fall off the case as soon as you open it. They do not have a magnetic hold like Bose or other earphones do.

Calling is heavily disappointing though. The other person cannot hear me clearly at all. I always find myself disabling the Bluetooth before answering a call which is inconvenient.

If you are looking for long hour usage, this is not for you. The earphone do tend to give a headache after couple of hours of use.

Which is why I have rated it a 3/5
