ANU MALIK'S BEST SOUNDTRACK
Dec 11, 2003 06:20 PM 3021 Views

After the flop of saaya and footpath, the Bhatt's are back with there latest offering INTEHA. Mahesh bhatt again come with a new cast. Amisha patel's brother Asmit patel is introduced in this movie with debutant Vidya Mallavade. The movie also stars Supari heroine Naheed Cyrusi . The Bhatt's are never gone wrong when it come to music for eg Awara pagal dewanna, Jism, Saaya, Raaz and now Inteha. Anu Malik has given the music. Rahat Indori, Parveen Bhardawaj and Dev Kholi penned the https://lyrics.

HAMSAFAR CHAHIYE make the start of the album and is the best song on the album. This is anu's one of the best tracks he ever made. Udit sound brilliant and natural in this track. Alka does his part well. Highly Recommended!

Church bells make the start of DHALNE LAGI HAI RAAT, a beautiful track two people deeply in love with each other. Sonu nigam sung this song beautifully and will touch your heart. Shreya provided the female vocals for this song. Sonu sung two more versions (a sad and a solo) of this song and was able too grab the song himself.

Sonu and Shreya and combine their vocals for AB HAMSE AKELE RAHA JAI GA NA which is a romantic and a sexy number. Sonu again is brilliant in is parts and shreya also doing the good work.

Shreya Ghosal got to sung a solo number DEWNNA DIL which a fast and a peppy number. It could be an item number or something thrilling could be happening in the movie. This song worth a listen.

Last but certainly not the least, Shaan got to sing YUN HI DIL KO AGAR which has a boyish and will certainly appeal more to the youth. Shreya sung the female vocals .

Shaan and Shreya are hardly paired but the combination look great.

So this album is a great album and for those who love to hear love songs. INTEHA is much better album than Kal ho naa ho, koi mil gaya, footpath ssshhh, pinjar and many more this year. Hamsafar, yun hi dil and dhalne lagi raat are the pick of the lot

Anu Malik; is he alright?
Nov 01, 2003 10:18 AM 3113 Views

Anu Malik is back with the Bhatt's again with this new venture. Anu still continues with his half-baked songs in all his albums and Inteha is one of them.

The best song of the album is 'Humsafar Chahiye' which is sung by Udit and Alka. It's one of the best songs Anu has given to us this year and it bears the Anu Malik stamp with orchestration. Udit Narayan sings so well in this song and his voice sounds so fresh although the chorus makes this song seems like a 90's song.

However, it seems that Anu is trying to keep the same old trick of having only one good song in an album.'Dhalne Lagi Hai Raat' by Sonu Nigam is a nice song. But we have heard these types of songs before. We may enjoyed it for a while and then it's being forgotten. Good try by Anu though and superb rendition by Sonu. The song comes in two other versions for Sonu fans!

'Yun Hi Ek Dil Ko Agar' is sung by Shreya Ghosal and Shaan. It's a good song with nice lyrics but fails to create any interest to the listener. Ghosal's rendition is good in this song. Anu tries to rehash his old tunes in this song but fails to create a decent song.

'Ab Humse Akayle Raha Na Jaaye' is not a bad song. It's a different song in terms of orchestration. Rendered by Sonu and Alka, the song has again a 'heard-before' feeling to it. Sonu Nigam really impresses in this song as well.

Then comes the biggest rip-off of the album which is 'Deewana Dil'. Ghosal is wasted in this fast-pace number. Why? Anu has rehashed his old tune 'Dil Hai Baichain Aaja' from 'Gang' which was sung by Kumar Sanu and Sadhna Sargam. The 'Gang' song was originally recorded in 1994 and was used in the movie which was released in 2000. To add insult to injury, this song was plagiarized and Anu used it twice! I cannot understand how Anu can do such stupid things to his songs when he is considered one of the best in India. All you guys should check out this song and the one in 'Gang'.

Apart from this rip-off, 'Inteha' is a slightly above average album. Anu seems tried to compose new romantic tunes and contends himself with silly and less likeable numbers. 'Humsafar Chahiye' and 'Dhalne Lagi Hai Raat' save the album. The other songs are good but fails to create interest before the movie being released.May be the songs are situational and will be well picturized. Considering the caliber of Anu Malik, we expect more from him especially when composing for the Bhatts.

Being a thriller, the songs may suit the movie but from a musical perspective, another disappointment from Anu Malik.

One Of Them Must Die, but the music lives!

Mukesh Bhat, Vikram Bhatt team up introducing Ashmit Patel (brother of Amisha Patel) in this sexy thriller with some very sexy music to go with. The Bhatts have never gone wrong when it comes down to music, Jism was absolutely seductive (Jaddu Hai all the way) Saaya was spiritual (Dil Chura Liyaa, SAAATHHIIYAA beauty) and Footpah, tho average had some gud tracks (Sari Raat and Surat Pe Teri Pyaar Ave) But this album surpasses them all I think and is brillaint in all sense, so lets get down to it. It has music by Anu Malik (who seems to be doing brillaint this year, after a poor few years) and lyrics by Rahat Indori, Parveen Bhardwaj & Dev Kohli.

The album opens with a very promising note, and the best song in the whole album Humsafar Chahiye Umr Bar Chahiye. Easily one of the best romantic songs i've heard this year with just superb lyrics by Dev Kholi such as Sochta Hoon Tum,he Doon mein sogath kya, dil tho deh teh hai sab dil ki okaat kya, jaan hazir hai meri agar chahiye. Brilliant. Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik seductively ooze their way thru. 10/10

Yun Hi Dil Ko is a faster paced romantic number than the previous. It seems more sexy and will be appealing to the youth, especially on screen. Shreya Ghosal gives Shaan a helping hand int his.7/10

Another beautiful slow song is Dhalne Lagi Hai Raat sung brilliantly by Sonu Nigam, although Alka Yagnik would have been beta Shreya Ghosal does do a fine job (not as beautifully as Jaddu Hai or Silsila Yeh Chahat Ka). Reminds you of Aapke Pyar Mein from Raaz with the slowness but not as upbeat as the latter. 8/10

Also a slower version and a Sonu Nigam solo too.

Another instant likeable song is Ab humse Akele sung again by Sonu Nigam (who seems to be doing very well with his soft singing) and the beautiful sounding Alka yagnik as always. this seems a more seductive song, and as seen on the promos it is no doubt very raunchy. Beautiful song with excellent https://lyrics. 9/10

The final song on the album is the upbeat Deewana Dil, and Shreya Ghosal does surprise you as she is not heard before singing an upbeat track. A nice song with good lyrics that will be an item number or one of the climatic songs with something thrilling taking place. 7/10

Overall this album is just beautiful and romantic to say the least. all music lovers should listen to this album and I can gurantee will fall in love with Humsafar Chahiye umr Bar Chahiye. For those who havent enjoyed Kal Ho Naa Ho (which I thought was good) buy this then and u wont be dissappointed.
