Indigo, Colaba, Mumbai Reviews

Korean Chicken a must try
Aug 30, 2016 05:50 PM 2704 Views

Calm tree lined path, a legacy structure, an unassuming sign, a strong entryway and there! You are in for a wonderful ordeal. For an easygoing meeting or a fast dinner, pick down the stairs with the sprawling low seating and an all around supplied bar. For a long, calm outdoors supper go for the patio. It has that curious, tasteful, Indian chic feel that you get the opportunity to find in English motion pictures(counting a couple of outsiders in neighborhood clothing and adornments).

We were situated in a comfortable corner with candles and blossoms adding to the appeal. It was a warm night so sitting out was not so agreeable but rather their A/C area was shut for reasons unknown.(This drove us to rapidly go for the mains, I think) The maitre d' drove us to a decision of Porcini and goat's cheddar ravioli(extremely flavorful), Korean flame broiled chicken(splendidly done), singed sheep(decent) and barbecued pork hack(brilliant). The accompanying blue berry cheesecake was finished effortlessly. Go Indigo!

Expensive but worth it
Apr 30, 2015 11:11 AM 4062 Views

Exhausted while shopping on the Colaba Causway, me and my brother decided to hit Indigo for some supper and drinks.

Indigo is a famous restaurant in Colaba and since we were too tired to experiment, we relied on the trusted old Indigo. The ambience of this place itself helps you to de stress and relax.

The beautiful dessert counter is undoubtedly the best view ever. I love the sloppy joe here. Also the beef burger here is to die for. In the desserts, I love the molten chocolate and orange creme brulee here.

Although the restaurant is quite expensive I would recommend you try it atleast once

Lavish Ambiance!

The place has perfection, elegance and class written all over. From the exterior appearance, to the indoor ambiance, impeccable service, to the lavish spread of lip-smacking dishes, everything is just perfect at Indigo.

As an avid food lover, it was like a treat to my taste buds to be able to taste so many gorgeous dishes. They have arrangements for both roof-top and indoor seating.

I have been there twice, so I have tried both of them each time but the roof-top seating rocked for me.

Great food, some scintillating drinks, it is worth mentioning the Whisky Sour(a mix of black and white whisky), great music and a roof-top seating is what defines an awesome experience.

Though a bit expensive, you must try it out and give yourself a treat.

One Classy Place To Be!
Dec 19, 2014 10:21 AM 4211 Views

Located in a bungalow behind the Taj Hotel, Indigo is known for its lavish spread of dishes. It is such a place that can make your eating experience a memorable moment to cherish.

This is why I chose to take my wife for dinner on her birthday. The Bungalow in which this restaurant is set up looks like some Goan home and is beautiful to look at.

This itself sets in the mood for a wonderful dinner to come. We had opted for the buffet and it had a lavish spread.

They had some spectacular seafood dishes on the spread and I literally don't have words to express how delicious they were.

This place is not only about food, it is about giving you a good experience while you enjoy the super delicious food.

Over all we had a great evening.

Very cosy restaurant
Oct 20, 2011 10:02 PM 4113 Views

Had been to Indigo in Sept 2011. The moment I entered the place I noticed their Wine collection on the left and was floored by the Wine collection. They not only have Indian Wine but also some very good imported wine, from New Zealand, Napa Valley, South Africa, Europe etc. Being a Wine lover this place has definitely turned out to be one of my favorite restaurants in Mumbai.

I also love the food there and the way it was served was very classy. The service is good and the staff is polite. The decor at the restaurant is very simple.

They have an amazing collection of different varieties of cheese and meat.

But guess what all this comes at a price. The restaurant is premium as per Mumbai standards and definitely Super premium if compared to any other city in India. Even the deserts cost Rs. 250/- - Rs. 300/-+ taxes or maybe more! So be prepared to empty your pockets!

Having said this I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again.

Mumbai India
Indigo
Mar 13, 2008 10:30 AM 4447 Views

Indigo is recognized as the best restaurant in Mumbai if not the best

restaurant in India. This is a pretty big deal and puts a lot of

pressure on the restaurant. Indigo is owned by Rahul Akerkar who also

started up Under the Over(RIP Under the Over) which was one of the most

popular restaurants of its time. Indigo is located in a lane behind the

Taj. Its the same lane as cotton world and to be honest the lane is

really shady. But once you get near Indigo things get a little better.

The restaurant is located in an old bungalow. The restaurant occupies

the whole bungalow and as a result has a lot of space that it can play

around with. The whoel idea of the restaurant in a bungalow is really

genius and IMO looks awesome. The interiors are really simple but still

extremely classy. When you enter you can see the bar with a couple of

low tables. The dining areas are located on the left and right. Overall

the ambience is perfect. Nothing fancy and yet at the same time very

appealing. Comming to the service. The service here is good but I

wouldnt say its outstanding. The waiters were able to reccomend items

off the menu but you could tell that they dont really understand the

menu that well or probably arent really that passionate about the food.

The service however is polite and so thats a good tihng. The food

doesnt take too long to arrive which again is a good thing. Comming to

the food.Iv never eaten about 15% of what was on the Indigo menu and to

me that shows that this restaurant is really out there offering the

city exotic foods which is a huge huge bonus. I had a Lobster Bisque

which was really good. Nothing really that outstanding but a good soup.

As for the maincourse I ordered a Lobster Risotto and my mother ordered

a tandoor grilled chicken. The risotto was a bit dissapointing to be

really honest but then again Im not a big Risotto fan. At this point

your probably thinking that Indigo is overrated. I had a bite of the

chicken and WOW!. The chicken was perfecltly seasoned and had a nice

juice under it which complemented it perfectlly. The chicken was

reallly amazing and Ill definatly reccomened it. Other than that the

Desert was allright and to be honest I dont even remember what I

ordered. I ordered an extra side of pinacolada ice cream that I really

liked. Now comming to the damages. Each dish is about 600 and that can

go up a lot considering what you order. There are some dishes with some

pretty exotic ingridients that are pretty pricey. At 600 a dish Indigo

is really well priced. My whole meal with a soup, maincourse and desert

came to 2200 for two which really isnt bad at all. I wouldnt be so

quick to add Indigo to my favourite restuanrants yet adn ill need to go

there a couple more times to understand if it really is the best

restaurant in India. Overall though a great restaurant and not at as

expensive as some make it out to be.

Mild Sign of an Emerging India
Sep 04, 2007 08:38 AM 4388 Views

It sounds a trifle elitist, using a high-end European-Indian Fusion Restaurant as a sign of India's possible emergence. Some may rightly ask, what about the IT Industry, the high GDP growth rates, the malls, the cars, the airlines et al. Others may dispute India's emergence citing, widespread poverty, pollution, lack of infrastructure et al. My effort may be categorized as either harmless lunacy, or irrelevant mutterings of a pompous NRI; perhaps a few would rather be kidnapped by Gabbar Singh than continue reading.

Routine details of our dining experience, occurred in April 2006, party of two --- me and

my teenage daughter. Reservations were done over the phone the same morning and were for 10 pm, it did not seem like they were hard to get. Probably due to being a Thursday night, the outdoor rooftop area where we had dinner was not crowded, although there were a lot of people downstairs. The decor inside can be described as fairly minimal, with the outdoor area being utilitarian, and the bathroom being nice and clean. I am not good at describing decor anyway, always reminded of that character in P.G. Woodhouse who keeps comparing a romantic sunset to a slice of underdone roast beef. One nice touch was a personalized menu, with my name printed at the top. I read in several reviews that this is the place to see some of Bombay's stars and beautiful people, but did not see any that day (maybe they all knew I was coming).

Jokes aside, the innovative selections on the menu is the main reason this restaurant was rated in the world's best 60 by Conde Nast. (I believe this rating was only for new restaurants in a particular year, late 1990's or early 2000's, and not best restaurants period). There were some fusion items (French or Italian dishes married with Indian Ingredients), and some European/New-Age items (mostly French or Italian). I had a mixed greens salad with goat cheese for the first course,

followed by Norwegian salmon as the main course, and a souffle for dessert. The salad was mixed with just the right  amount of greens and cheese and held together by a light viniagrette dressing; the exquisite salmon was cooked to perfection; and the souffle was light and fluffy and delicious. Along with dinner I had a glass of red wine from Pessac Leognan (Bordeaux, France), and they graciously opened a fresh bottle. My daughter had a wild mushroom ravioli for her main course, and a chocolate brownie based dessert. She liked the pasta much more than her main course at an Italian restaurant at a five-star hotel the next day.

I ordered salmon with a Red Bordeaux and no one at the restaurant attempted to suggest a better match, a pinot noir either from Burgundy or from California/Oregon. A little more friendly chatting with customers, and some more  elaboration of the elegant menu would go a long way. In fact, I believe that this restaurant definitely should take the lead in creating and publicizing wine-food pairings; especially related to its Indian fusion cuisine (if it already is, will someone please comment on it).

Plating and presentation of food, an extremely important aspect of high-end restaurants, was upto standards expected at major Western restaurants. The wine list was extremely impressive, containing not just reasonable French and Italian wines; but more expensive first-growth Bordeaux's as well. Not being a bar person, I unfortunately cannot review Indigo's much discussed cocktails. Service was professional, competent and prompt; we were never kept waiting. The bill came to approximately 80 US dollars or 3600 Indian Rs; roughly broken up as 50 US $ for the adult and 30 US $ for the teenager.

Indigo's ambiance, food and service are definitely on par with comparably priced restaurants in Manhattan and France, and restaurants better than this one are certainly more expensive. This place is a cut above most five star restaurants run by major multinational corporations in India, and, as expected, far superior to chain restaurants worldwide. Although expensive by Indian standards, this restaurant is very competitive by global standards. It is certainly believable that Indigo was found good enough to be in the top 60 new restaurants in  the year it opened, although very few are likely to rate it as one of the absolute best.

Chef-Entrepreneur Rahul Akerkar is Indigo's creator, and had to undergo a lot of struggle to start this restaurant. His background includes a Master's degree in Bio-Chemical Engineering (Columbia Univ. New York) and years spent in Manhattan restaurant kitchens working with celebrity chefs. The positive effects of both of those formative experiences are very

much in evidence.

(A disclaimer --- All info. contained in the above para is obtained from public domain sources)

That Indigo has survived and flourished for 6+ years implies that this restaurant has numerous discerning patrons who are demanding more than Indian food. This in turn implies that India is generating enterprises that either create or attract more sophisticated upper middle class to rich people; a category that was largely unseen 10 years ago. Allowing for a little hyperbole, one can argue that this restaurant probably serves as a proxy for the emergence of India. However,

Indigo has several milestones to achieve before it breaks into the absolute best in the world; and these are generally among the hardest (increased global scrutiny and comparison, absolutely consistent level of quality and service, and flawless public relations and advertising). An inspiring start that all Indians should be proud of, both the restaurant and India's recent achievements; on balance a "Mild Sign of an Emerging India".

Indigi Deli - ideal sunday brunch
Apr 02, 2007 02:06 PM 4391 Views

In a place lile Mumbai where you need to unwind after the hectic weekend, your sunday brunch place is very important.I have shifted a year ago from delhi and still hadn't found my ideal place until I went to indigo deli.i just love the cafe atmosphere with the causal seating and the idyllic chatting overhead. It is really nice to look around the desserts, breads or the various'things' in the shelves. I am an ardent wine collector so sometimes a bottle or two is bought for the collection. I went last with some friends who were down from banglore and they found a fondue machine they had been looking for.

So now coming to the main event, the FOOD. Its can just be described in one word. Awesome!I love the fondue first and foremost. Although we don't really live in country to enjoy it due to climatic condition, I don't care  ! Also the salads are very refreshing. Usually I eat the pizza which is like papery thin and sandwiches which are abundant in variety. But don't worry whichever you choose you will get a good one. I have tried all, almost. Just go and try your own thing .basically everything turns out right .and do drink a nice glass of red. For the teetotallers also ther are many smoothies etc which are also very nice. Desserts you can visually choose or order, whichever you prefer(focus on the chocalety ones). So since you can keep eating by the time you finish you are tired, so I usually sit n relax with a nice cup of camomile or cappucino in the end .so that all the food can settle down and I can get up and walk!

Only weak point is the absolute diaster they call their service. The waiters are dumb and non responsive .sometimes I have to go to the counter n get my cutlery. They are bringing down the place but they maybe spaced out because of the heavy traffic.Don't go without a reservation or otherwise be prepared for a 40 minute wait!

All in all - you will enjoy yourself with your friends and family.

P.S. During some festive times they put some lights outside so try and go in the night then. Its cute.

Indigo Deli
Dec 28, 2006 05:56 PM 4377 Views

Last night I dined at a really lovely place called “Indigo Deli”. This is a second outlet started by the well-known Rahul Akrekar of Indigo located in Colaba, Mumbai.

Although we skipped the drinks, there seemed to be some nice

mocktails/slush we hope to try the next time. The steward ensured a

very personalised service and I was impressed at the interest he showed

in discussing the food items with great details telling us exactly what

it will comprise of and also alert us on the servings so that we didn’t

over or under order our dinner.

What did we eat?

The thin crust pizza with sun-dried tomatoes and olives. Now the

definition of a thin crust is very different from the ones you usually

will get at Dominos or even the five-star outlets. Try it.

The other item was the three mushroom farfalle. A tasty browned

pasta cooked in wine. As a side dish the garlic potatoes with the

freshly grinded mustard sauce made a great combination.

They have a very well stocked wine cellar so it’s worth taking a

look at their wine list. And if there is a particular label you are

looking for, feel free to ask for it - they might just have it.

Service Factor

Impressive, personalized and was prompt.

Ambience

Classy and casual at the same time. Although it’s built rich the seating is very cafe style so you can be very comfortable.

How to get there

Indigo Deli,

Opp. Tendulkars Restaurant,

Near Yacht Club / Near Regal Cinema,

Mumbai.

Tel: 5655 1010

They are open for breakfast too starting at 9AM. I don’t mind going in for a Sunday brunch the next time around.

Mumbai India
Really cool!!!
Jun 26, 2006 08:49 PM 3375 Views

Its one of the most chill and cool place in town! Its a very classy and smooth ambience, that goes for the decor and the crowd! The bartenders are nice and warm, ready to serve you the best of cocktails and expensive wines.

Price range is medium for your drinks. The food is excellent and the deserts are really nice but the food is expensive, so get ready to put a hole in your credit cards!!!

Chill out lounge music loud enough for you to move your body while chattinng with your partner in crime for the night. Some really nicely dressed up ladies, ready to kill anyone in sighht. Men the rich and poor, in fact the rich are in their casual attire since they are regulars but the poor ones are over dressed hehehe thats what I noticed, I could be wrong!!! But yes some handsome boys in the lot too!

All in all, this could be your regular spot to warm up or chill thru the winter nights.

Mumbai India
Great place
Feb 14, 2006 03:58 PM 3830 Views

It’s been five years and more and the Indigo Restobar is still known for its handsome food, innovative wine and hip crowd. When Malini and Rahul Alerkar started it in Colaba, much did they know that they wanted to fill in the lacuna of fine dining restaurants in Mumbai. Exquisite and authentic western fare could now be enjoyed outside the precincts of the 5-star hotel restaurants.

The big plusses

Food

The food served is handsome and the approach towards getting it done, serious. No wonder it is the restobar’s USP.

Recommended Food: Lobster Bisque, Steak, Rawa and Tuna dishes

Drinks

Like its food, Indigo takes its liquor seriously and is probably the only bar in the country where wine sells as spirits. Take a sip of sparkling wines from Italy, Germany, and Austria.

Recommended Drinks: Caipiroshka

Décor

The interiors are devoid of any ornamentation; natural light takes over and fills the place with a comforting warmth and old-world charm.

Trivia

Apart from being just an eating joint, Indigo has been host to art shows, theatre experiences, jazz nights, and several wine and guest chef dinners.

Average Cost

Rs. 750-1000/- for two

Verdict

You will emerge happy and satisfied.

Trendy Restrobar
Oct 26, 2004 04:16 PM 4029 Views

Review : 'Indigo' A great trendy place to go for dinner whether it be with the family or just a romantic dinner for two. Excellent food if you are the kind who enjoys continental kind of food, great ambience & interesting bar!!! Though its impossible to get a table without a reservation! The Sunday afternoon champagne brunch is great! A must try with your friends and real value for money!!

Evening is a good place to hang out with friends pre partying for a couple of drinks & maybe even a few yummy entrees! Though some evenings especially weekends the place tends to get really crowded especially the bar area. Dont expect to be sitting if you are just having a couple of drinks. Also there is no dance floor, place generally caters to dinner & drinks! A nice cigar bar for those who enjoy a good cigar. Good selection of wines and alcohol! Nice music!!

Nice place to take guests or expats!! impressive & not over the budget! A lovely pleasant little sit out area for those cool winter months to enjoy a couple of drinks and dinner The place can also be booked for private functions and parties with a live band and the guests are guaranteed to have a great time!!! On the whole real value for money and a must try if you have never been there before!!

Excellent place, with great service, all though the liquor is expensive but it is a great place for special weekend partying. Food-well, it isnt for everyone, and has a decidedly european palate which might not find favour with some. Try the mushrooms as well as the fine collection of wines and cigars.

Has two bars, the one below is well lit and has a mammoth collection of liquor lining the back of the bar wall, other assorted coffee and blending machines. The bar above is all black and can be quite fashionably decadent while yet anonymous.

There are similarly two dining areas, one below that is air-conditioned, while the one above is open air and you can see the back of the taj, and smell the warm salty air. Besides of course the general torpidity in the air at times and the quintessential Bombay rain, it can be a great experience with candles, well laid tables and fragrant flowers.

Drinks and dinner for two could be in the 2-3K range easy.

Also a great place to through parties and press situations.

Testing Indigo's hype
Oct 08, 2002 09:40 AM 4892 Views

Reading and hearing so much about this unbelievably good restaurant in Colaba for ages, about the exquisite food and minimalistic ambience, 8 of us decided to eat dinner at Indigo one night.

Reservations were duly made for 10pm and we arrived a few minutes late. We were taken up to the private lounge area since no table was free. After explaining to the waiter that we didnt drink or smoke and didnt want to sit in the lounge bar, we were taken to the open air seating area. Waiting there for half an hour, we ordered the food (taken by a waiter dripping with sweat). After repeated requests to the hostess, we finally reached our table. Disappointing so far, but we hoped the food would make up for everything. The hostess and maitre'd were extremely apologetic.

We ordered soup, corn chowder which was very very good and mulligatawny, which wasnt.

For the main course, I ordered Norwegian salmon souffle, which tasted like bread and cheese, contrary to the other times Ive eaten it. However everyone else seemed to be enjoying their food......the maitre'd got me a complimentary portion of good fettucine with a great sauce (must have seen my face while eating the salmon). We ate grilled chicken breast with broccoli, rare tenderloin and some other things whose names I dont remember because they were too long.

Then dessert, most of us had almond meringue with almond mocha mousse which was good, I loved the meringue part. All the desserts had these cool chocolate streaks on the plate and chocolate dust which made a very pretty picture.

Suddenly one end of our table started laughing, these guys got us a large piece, like a quarter of a cake with sorry written in huge letters, it was a little comic to see their way of placating delayed diners.

The dessert menu is customised with the name of the person making the reservation printed on the top.

I have nothing to write on the alcoholic drinks, since we had fresh lime and some grenadine thing. The fresh lime was good, the grenadine horrible and of course I was the one who ordered it.

The entire place was packed to capacity until 12:30, even the bar area, even when we left at 1:15, there were quite a few people around.

As you enter, there is a restaurant area to your right, in the centre is the bar, when you go upstairs there is a private lounge cum bar area, and an open air seating place. Indigo is an old house/bungalow converted into a restaurant. Though Rahul Akerkar is supposed to personally supervise all the food prepared I dont think he was in the restaurant the day we went.

Overall, the food is good, portions are very tiny, so be prepared to order more if you're hungry, and, most interestingly, the prices are reasonable, compared to what one would expect, not like a Shiv Sagar but not like a Trattoria either.

Go there at least once for the food and please dont order the salmon.

Hot and happening!
Mar 24, 2002 01:07 AM 4371 Views

This may sound like blasphemy but I have this feeling ,people visit Indigo more for the crowd than anything else! Finally a place for the middle aged to feel at home. There's the eating area, bar, cigar lounge and open air dining.

I have friends who visit this place every Saturday night almost and when I ask them what they ate. They go.....''ate??We just hung out!'' Even if it means,on the steps of the open air area.

What do you say about a place where one has to wait for 20 minutes to get valet parking and another hour to get your table.....you say it's hot and happening!

Now to the famed food.....the rawas and tuna dishes are delicious. The risotto is so-so.The steak is yummmmmy, the pasta is average.Get the point??Hit on the right dish and you are in culinary heaven.

The onion bread which is served complimentary is oily but divine with the flavoured butters.

The desserts are ooh la la.I like em all!Cheesecake, brownie, bring them on.

A must try cocktail is Caprioscha(check my spelling),vodka based with sugar syrup, lime wedges and lots of ice and mint leaves.Lovely, refreshing even to a social drinker like me.

All in all,get set to spend around Rs 500/- per head MINIMUM,but hey you spent the night at Indigo!!

Atmosphere
Mar 07, 2002 10:41 PM 3501 Views

Whats Indigo about? Well... atmosphere, its an absolutely

wonderful place to start out the weekend of partying, not

the cheapest place out there, but try the cocktails. Their

wine list, though not extensive is also one of the better

ones in Bombay! The food is also ''superb''. A nice touch

of fusion cuisine to suit almost any palette. The pastas

are very good, and their choice of meats is excellent. And

don't forget to leave room for some desserts, they are

heavenly to say the least. I especially enjoyed the apple

pie (one place in Bombay where it is served without kismis

if you know what I mean). I would not call the place

''affordable'',but at the same time, its well worth the money

spent.

Fab place
Jan 05, 2002 11:28 AM 4022 Views

Having returned from outside the country after a long long time, this place felt great. had been hearing about this place for a while and finally made it for a sunday brunch. That is what they are known for.

priced at Rs 650/Rs750(for nonalcoholic/alcoholic) for a brunch which goes with forms of spirit lifting alochol (bubblies mostly) or fresh juices, the antipasta bar, the main entree, the desserts and endless coffee/tea - what more could you ask for. Felt, this was a fab place to lazily spend most of your Sunday afternoon - there is some amount of live music which is not unpleasant.

However, once in a while you find these one off boisterous groups who are rather noisy and make the place a bit less hospitable. The place seems to be visited more by the 'intellectual' and rich varieties. However, given with our desi traditions, money and that show of intelligence does not turn one into a person with sense. So you would find the foo foo variety and twiggling their fingers to shake the ash off their cigarettes on to the floor too.

Back to food: the anti pasta bar is great. The hummus seemed ersatz and the tapas were small and too crisp and hard. the salads were good, there was a bowl of olives which was fab, there were varieties of meat, some fish and also some duck liver (on the way fo fois gras?)...

in desserts: the Tiramisu was completely hopeless, but the creme broule was very good. I asked for a double shot of espresso and can say without a second thought, have not had an espresso that good in Mumbai.

bottomline: go visit the place, spend your sunday afternoon there. You will come back a happy soul.

overall great place - visit it.

Happening place! But affordable, may not be always
Dec 09, 2000 07:24 PM 3737 Views

I am amused by the classification of the place as affordable -- it is acually one of the expensive places I have been to.

Let me not digress from the real issue -- i.e. to share my experience. The bar is packed on a weekend evening -- so make sure to book a table in advance, else reach in good time to get a place. I actually walked out of the bar, since the lady manager was helpless -- all the tables were occupied. However, it was to be that I have a drink session -- the manager sent for a person -- there was a table available on the first floor -- but he politely asked if we would like to check out for that -- he asked for it in a hesitating manner which made me think as if there is something wrong.

But, honestly, it was pefect, even better. The first floor thing is more of a room -- sofas and chairs are put to give it the look more of a drawing room than a bar. The rectangular paintings give it a soothing decor. The flooring is not overdone -- just normal yet impressive. Also this part of the bar is not crowded -- just 4-5 tables allow for privacy and space for conversation. Imagine, Candle Light Drinks, background music -- a perfect place to have a date!

The drinks menu has all the varieties -- Indian as well as Foreign Brands. Appetisers, go in for the Lamb dishes. I have not really enjoyed the veggies stuff here, though.

Service levels are more than satisfactory -- it would be better if they reduced the time lag for serving -- the peak hour sometimes takes over 20 min. for even a veg. stuff.

They also serve the main course (lunch/dinner) which, however, have never given it a try.

The drawbacks are the location -- it is not so visible. And the other is of course, finding a table if you are late.

But if you ask me, I would enjoy my drinks even otherwise just interacting because the crowd is pretty good and especially if you are in a group -- many a times, the foreigners outnumber the locals.

And last but not the least, it is pretty expensive. So it is important that one goes with a specific purpose -- dating, perfect place at the first floor.
