They are comfortably arrogant and mostly humiliating to passengers whom they've started treating as "cattle".


It's better to book airasia.

This has reference to my recent air travel booked with INDIGO AIRLINES for the Domestic journey.


On 12th April 2018, I had a return flight from Mumbai to Delhi, booked through Indigo Airlines, Flight no.: 6E174, Scheduled departure, 04:15 p.m.


I had no check-in baggage and therefore rushed to the boarding gates immediately. Due to usual Mumbai traffic congestion followed by airport security checks, I reached the gate to board the flight at 03:50 p.m.


Relieved that I could make it on –time as there was still 25 min. for the flight to fly, I approached the Gate. But to my dismay, the lady standing at the gate told me that the boarding was completed and they have canceled my ticket without any notification/information to me and the Flight push button was released.(The airline does not have the policy to inform the passengers who could not board and simply cancel their tickets-or re-sell them!)


They told me that I was the only passenger who could not board the flight. Without any concern or willingness to assist me further, they tend to ignore me.


I could not understand, there was still 25 min. and I was sure, the flight was not flying before time!


With the help of the security personnel appointed nearby, I was directed to counter no. 7, Indigo airlines for re-scheduling/re-purchase of tickets. At the counter, I was told that there is a flight at 08:00 p.m. and would cost me INR 9, 000 for a one-way journey. When I insisted for a flight before 08:00 p.m., they told me that if I can wait until 6:00 p.m. and any other passenger did not board the next scheduled flight, they will adjust me in the same, with much higher pricing!


(There is supposed to be no re-scheduling also considering that I have already paid for my ticket and eligible to be adjusted)


While standing at that counter, I also came across several other people who were facing the same situation. Another passenger had to fly to Hyderabad and had a medical urgency with his child in Hyderabad. There was still 40 min. for his scheduled flight and he wanted to check-in the baggage. The people at the counter were rude and indifferent, completely convinced that they cannot do anything. He was almost crying and was even willing to leave his baggage so he could board. I don’t know what happened to him further as I decided not to go through any flights from INDIGO and bought another ticket from GoAir.


As a routine job, the Indigo staff at the baggage check-in counters, also misguide people to cause unnecessary delays.


I understand, everyday people may be missing on the flights or some situations, where they are not able to board on time. I respect the policies of the authorities, but the rules are being modified by some cheap kind of airlines to make money/benefits at the expense of conveniences to the customers.


BUT, I consider it as my responsibility to inform the authorities: INDIGO has set-up a side business of looting people by re-selling the already occupied seats at just double or triple the prices. I request the authorities to probe into the matter and take strict actions against such fraud airlines.

Very poor service and very bad inflight attendants. Its was on official trip for me with around 50 booking in our group. The seat were already assigned in advance and meals were pre booked. But to our surprise around 4 to 5 person could not get the meal. On asking they just replied very rudely that the food is over and they are not in a condition to serve. When we asked and showed our tickets that we had already paid for meals in our ticket price, they replied that it's not mentioned anywhere that meal is mandatory be served if it is finished. She simply went off and didn't returned.


On pressing the calling light situated above passengers seat they didn't turned up and had to call by signalling with hand as we want a glass of water. Overall a very bad experience in terms of flight service.

Hey friends today I am going to share my experience about this airline.


4 months ago I traveled on this airline from Delhi to Hyderabad and it was cheapest trip ever.


I brought the ticket from the indigo website it was so easy to booked a flight on this site.


You can also choose your seat on this siteand its cheaper then other airlines.


After booking the tickets. On the flight date I set off for the airport and I reached late their because I stucked in the jam thats why.


At check-in in the airport. I didn't have to wait because there are many counters and some of the counters are free so I go and show my ticket get boarding pass and the check-in staff and scaning staff is so polite they talk politey with all peoples.


After waiting some time. The time comes to go in the aircraft.


We entre the aircraft up a ramp not up stairs I like that. This things make less stressfull for wheel chair person. And it's all right for everyone.


The airhostes are friendly. And they welcome us with a cute smile.


After entrening in the aircraft. I went to my seat . And my seat at window so its more awsm full trip because I liked to watch things from upside its too coo and fnatactics.


And the seating space of my seat is well n good because I fit in easily.


I started clicking photos then a airhostes came and said sir plz switch off the mobile because we were going to take off. So I did that what she said.


I enjoy whole time in the flight. I don't I like 1 thing they didn't provide lunch to us. I heared that the other airlines provides food to us. Its ok because the prices are low from other airlines. And my first trip in aeroplane is awsm.


And the takeoff time of the plan is on time.

Bad service after receiving good price

I went Chennai for my grand fathers check up. He is a heart patient. It was 2014. Due to huge thunderstorms and flood all the railway lines were stopped and while returning we came through flight. Surprisingly the ticket cost me 11500 rs for chennai to dum dum. But without any option left I took it and the flight was at 10 am. But there was 5 hours delay for some reason which was not clear to the passengers. But after all these we didn't receive a good service from them. The cabin members didn't helped me. I alone struggled to manage my grandfather and the bags. Then we flew through a bit bad weather and reached dum dum in the evening.


Not at all happy with the service received in order of 11k rs.

Cheap and Best - Always on time

I have been a frequent flyer with Indigo Airlines.


What I like about this airline?


1) Cheap tickets


2) Good staffs


3) Proper seats - neat and clean


4) Always on time


The only thing I don't like about this airline is that it doesn't provide free lunch, dinner or breakfast unlike Air India.


Overall I like this airline for its low cost and punctuality, good seats and good staffs.


My only wish is that it would be an iceing on the cake if it provides free lunch, dinner or breakfast.

Flying is indeed a wonderful experience, but it happens that sometimes you dont get good experience. It happended with me in past woth an airline. But while I flew in Indigo Airlies it was a differnt experience altogether. The ticket booking was an easy process thanks to Makemytrip.com who helped me book tickets easily.


So, I oftenly flew but mostly with jetairwyas and spicejet. But now Indigo was ner to me. I was flying from Bangalore to Kolkata, it was a good experience. The cabin crew head announced everything clearly and he was loud and clear. The cabin members were also very kind in serving water and other orders. They smile and talk calmly.


Even after the plane landed they were very kind enough to help help the old and the unusual flyers. Among the crew there was a nepali airhostess, as I know how to speak nepali so I spoke for a few minutes with her. She was very glad to meet me and she was I very service to me. She eas from darjeeling and was with this Occupation on for 10 months. It was very nice to talk to her and when thwn plane landed she greeted me well and said that we hope to see each other soon.


It was a interesting journey and I made a new friend ofcourse.


My second flight was little late. It happens sometimes but not too late like some of other airline who makes you wait in queue and then suddenly change the boarding gate.


Then again in my return flight from Kolkata to Chennai was also Indigo. In the next flight also my experience was quite good. As I am good in making friends I easily make friends. Now I have travelled multiple times with this airline and I am very much satified with the service.


Indigo is one of the best airline in India and has been nominated many times in many occassions and won many awards in the idustry. I hope it will continue it servuce sincerly like this and will gain alot of customers and passenger to boost their profits.


It is always good flying with the blue.


Really frustrated with their clickbait fares

I am writing this review after several incidents with Go indigo, and not ONE time during all of those incidents was I able to book a ticket with them. Let me tell you why.


My family member, a senior citizen, is a frequent business traveller and travels to many "non-popular" airports often, as he often has work assigned in cities that you cannot call metros like Mumbai/Delhi/Bangalore etc. More often than not, the airlines to such airports go half empty on weekdays. I am tasked with booking his airline tickets regularly. Now my issue with indigo is(and this problem may be unique to low congestion/non-metro airports) that unlike other airlines, Indigo always shows a "clickbait" fare price. And if you are thinking the problem may be arising due to using third party booking site, no, because I am using the official airline website. So once you get a low fare and begin the booking it will take you all the way to the payment page and then reject your booking citing "Error we cannot book ticket in this flight right now". What they really mean is "haha got you, we never had that ticket in first place, now go buy same ticket and pay double the price". If you are not using private/incognito window, then god help you because if you so much so run the query for same day same destination twice, they will jack the ticket price up by 40-60% in very second attempt. But using tracker free browsing window doesn't help either, because once they know someone has made it all the way to the payment window, they will raise the fare by 40-60% if only for 24 hours. Point being, they won't let you book for the price which they used to clickbait you to their website, ever. I would be prudent in giving this review if it happened once or twice, but this happens every single time and only with Indigo. I never ran into such problems with Air India who also operates on same routes as Indigo. So all things considered, I think I will actively avoid booking anything from Indigo because you waste 20-30 minutes looking for flights, selecting seats and addons, entering all passenger details etc and then when it's time for confirmation, they deny selling you the advertised ticket and jack up its price even if there's plenty of space left in aircraft. Being a budget airline doesn't mean you have to clickbait people with fares that don't exist, eventually such tactics catch up to them and buyer just goes to a different airline to prevent the experience. Doing so for locations that already don't get many airline travellers, and it just makes you wonder why do they even bother.


The only time I did travel with  Indigo(and only because my ticket was bought by office or I would never dare) the experience was absolutely underwhelming with mediocre food from a very limited menu, rude staff and over all a perfect "cheap flight" experience you could hope for. Jet airways or Air India(often has similar prices) recommended over Indigo any given day for domestic travel.

On the Last week I ( sumit) along with my family did an air journey. and our flight was indigo. first of all if seemed so beautiful.the colour of the plane attracted my eyes. and my family was so happy to see it.then on entering the plane the airhoste welcomed so politely and their behaviour was too good.and when the flight was too good and luxurious it can't b expressed in words.and the pilot uff.he was so gentle .while the flight was shaking a little due to air pressure the pilot expressed his gratitude so humbly.thanks for that wonderful flight. . Thanks to all indigo workers.salute indigo.

INDIGO HAS BEING ONE OF THE BEST AIRLINE IN INDIA GIVING BEST AND QUALITY SERVICES TO THE PUBLIC. I REMEMBER MY FIRST TIME OF USING INDIGO, IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE FROM DELHI TO MUMBAI. I FORGET MYSELF LIKE BEING A FOREIGNER. I WAS TREATED NICELY AND KIND.WHEN YOU APPROACH THE CHECK-IN COUNTER. THEY ARE ALWAYS THERE TO HELP AND EVEN WAIT FOR YOU TO GIVE OUT YOUR REPLY. THE WORKERS SMILES AT THE COUNTER CAN CHANGE YOUR DAY.THE ALWAYS TRY FOR THE STAFF TO PROVIDE MASSIVE SERVICES TO THE PUBLIC. INDIGO IS ALWAYS THERE TO HELP THE PUBLIC IN ANYTHING OR ANY WORK WHICH IS NEEDED BY A COSTUMER. WHAT MAKES ME HAPPY MOST A TIMES WHEN USING THE AIRLINE IS WHEN YOU CALL FOR BOOKING. THEY MAKES SURE THE MAKE YOU FIND A SUITABLE DATE OR DAY FOR YOU TO TRAVEL. THE SEATING SPACE OF INDIGO HAS THE NORMAL AND MAXIMUM SPACE OF EVERY DOMESTIC AIRLINE HAS. WHICH IS QUIET WELL.INDIGO HAS ONE OF THE BEST PUNCTUALITY OF WORKERS. THEY REALLY DEALS WITH TIMES SO FAR I HAVE USED THE AIRLINE. ONE OF THE BEST I HAVE COME ACROSS.I HAVE NO NEGATIVITY ABOUT THEIR SERVICES SO FAR.

I was on andaman tour from mumbai. The check in counter was not that bad but the ground staff was non cooperative. The seating space on airline is very very uncomfortable. The push back seat buttons are not working properly. The flight was on time but because of poor seating I was very disappointed.

Hi friends I want to share my personal experience my friends was decided to Goa trip and we go to a travel agent and he suggested Indigo is a good Airlines OK then I will take the ticket from Indigo Airlines very cheap fare the flight facilities or no no food service and no seat LCD Indigo was very poor flight no good facilities The Cabin control is very ugly not responsibility of the air hostess

I have a horrible experience with Indigo Airlines my ticket Mumbai to Delhi book before months and without any information they have cancelled my ticket and the reason what they say was it was a technical Glitch I don't understand what kind of Glitch it is poor customer service I was having important work on that day that's why I book my ticket before 2 months that's not fair I missed my meeting I got loss that's totally horrible for such a big company they have to think about the customers after doing this they have never apologized so I decided what ever emergency I got I will never book I a ticket with this company

My brother bought a Indigo flight from Visakhapatnam to New Delhi. The cost of this was just rupees thirty one hundred only.This flight color was of blue and white colour. I book this flight online. The departure of this time from Visakhapatnam was 8:35 AM . Seat number was 30A. Seque : 042. Boarding gate closes 25 minutes prior to the departure time. Boarding gate numbers are subject to change , please check the flight information screen for latest updates. My brother went to Visakhapatnam for job interview but unfortunately i enjoy the journey to Visakhapatnam. Its my first journey to Visakhapatnam.
