Indian Overseas Bank

Transaction failed but my money got debited, I had to pay my tuition fee and because of the banks fault I had to pay fine but still they didn't refund my amount back.

The customer care service is extremely poor they started giving me different numbers to contact and none took any initiative to address my concern. I regret opening an account in this bank, I wish I had enough time to waste, then I would have definitely sued this bank.

I have raised complain to Iob and iob ombudsman but no response mail and net banking not working for more than 2 months this is one of the worst service at 2025 and bad server

I have had a terrible experience with Indian Overseas Bank's(IOB) internet banking. Their website is extremely unreliable—it crashes almost every time I try to log in. On the rare occasion that I do manage to log in, it automatically logs me out whenever I try to perform any action. This makes online banking practically useless.

The mobile app is just as bad, if not worse. I have been trying to reset my app passcode for the past month, but every time I attempt it, I get a random error message. There is no clear explanation or support to resolve the issue.

Given these constant issues, I am seriously considering switching to another bank with better online services. If you rely on smooth and hassle-free internet banking, I would not recommend Indian Overseas Bank at all.

Earlier prior 2024 they offered good exchange rate but recently they have changed and keep margin of around 60 to 70 paise (less conversion rate) from original rate, as a customer we have to suffer loss in exchange rate.

Not happy with their NRE customer service.

The service and ambience was neat at IOB , Nehru Park branch.I had been there for name correction as peraadhar to my SB account and it was done.

I went to madhuravoyal branch for adhaar updation , the lady sitting in the counter feels like she is the founder of the bank, she gets irritated if u ask any question. Mainly she speaks only in her regional lang. Better opt another bank instead of this bank

You deposit your money and forget to get it back unless you visit your branch.

Horrible experience with internet banking. for every small thing you need to visit the branch and there you see all aunties doing nothing but warming the seats.

OMG! never ever witnessed such un-organised process of internet banking before and customer care are also the same.They are so back dated version in the modern world.For the first time I was trying to initiate a fund transfer to my another account but OTP has not been generated even after third try also, Called CCR for the issue, after hearing the same, they simply putted my call on hold for more than 5 mins. I wonder how they are operating pan india basis and managing it's urban customers.They are good for people who are less internet savy and prefer to visit branch physically!

Ever after the input of right credentials the message comes as "wrong credentials" and login gets blocked after three attempts. One cannot relay IOB for urgent money transfers.

My internet banking is not working last 2days with right credentials. Finally called customer care. They are are saying server down transfer tomorrow. I never seen such a worst service like this. People cannot use their funds for any urgent Need if they are having account at IOB

Bank has worst staffs in the world, all are fools without any knowledge & net banking facility is worst of it's kind.

Don't to banking with IOB bank

Listen everyone if u want to get an educational loan of 6 lakhs then u must show the deposit of 5 lakhs as a security bond under the name of the same person. So I wonder what that if I have a deposit of 5 lakhs in my name what is the purpose of the loan?

Today morning i got a message that Rs 130 i have debited from my account as i was having that much of money in my account. Pls tell me a valid reason why are you robbing our hard earned money.. I am gonna close my account from this sht bank account if you are not giving me a proper answer..

We are using this bank since up to 15 years. Sometimes they are gud to us but some other times they are not respond in gud way because of their very busy working. Its k we are understand ur situation.
