Being an existing IFB customer, and using IFB washing machine from last 9 years without any issue, when I thought of buying a new one, without much looking out decided to purchase IFB again.
As there was an exchange offer of Rs 9000/- off on Senator Smart Vx, I have decided to purchase it.
Ordered online from IFB website https://ifbappliances.com(paid full amount Rs. 39980/-) on 02-05-2016 with invoice # 3115004438 dated 03-05-2016(sale order: 9444952, challan: 2004376722, PO no: 100062496).
Washing machine received on 04-05-2016, but surprisingly the packing was very dusty outside and packing was bad. As protection would be there, I thought it would be good inside.
When an installation/demo executive(request# 1102340523) came home on 07-05-2016, after opening the washing machine found that there is dent on left side of the body, the body has dust on the body as well and corners were very dirty, found broken bottom plate and also missing the bottom stand bolts.
Washing machine was removed from package and kept in a corner, when I questioned about why the machine was like this, I was told that by demo executive, that he would get the bolts and bottom plate on Monday(09-05-2016) to complete the installation. But not heard from him again.
After further inspection, the serial number on the carton is different from one specified in the invoice. The washing machine does not look like a new one. May be a display piece repacked.
The serial number on the carton is:

I had to send several emails to customerservice@ifbglobal.com and reply@ifbglobal.com explaining all this, I have also sent photos and videos. Only response I got was "we are looking into the matter and we will revert shortly" on May 10th 2016. But they were processing the replacement. Meanwhile contacted several executives, every time to speak to them, I had to call 20-30 times for them to pickup the call.
No one took responsibility to this and called me back. I was expecting an explAnasultantion of the situation, why it happened like this and installation of the machine, which did not happen.
Finally, on 18th May 2016, I got the machine replaced. I would like to thank you every one helped with this. But the broken bottom plate is not replaced, as it is part of pedestal package and pedestal is not replaced.
I think IFB products are good. If they improve the after sale service, it will be good.
