Beautifull washing machine

This is very good washing machine. I have purchased this in a mall near by. I have purchased at 18.500 rupees .this machine is fully automatic and top loaded.and a capacity of 6 kg . at certain time when my wife goes to trip and comes after a 15days .


I used to put clothes in it . after making a swith on the cloths will rotata and spin ror a while and they cleaned clearly by machine and dried . the entire process will takes place with ina hour so that I can go to office quickly . I have seen many brands among them facility of a specialised feature in this is good hence I purchased this . I am using for 2years  till now I did not got any problem .


IFB Service contract - A bottomless well

I had renewed my IFB AMC about more than a month back for my IFB machine. My IFB AMC is not updated in their computer system intentionally or inadvertently by IFB, although payment has been credited to IFB account and receipt was given by IFB local unit.


Their local IFB person in Delhi called and abused me for paying the money to IFB company directly and asked for the copies of the IFB AMC receipt very rudely.


In spite of my best efforts and several emails to the IFB customer care there is no confirmation from their side whether AMC is renewed or not. IFB Customer care do not give any satisfactory answer and says that there is no IFB AMC contract. They give numbers of local OFB units which no one picks from IFB. Moreover we are receiving SMS from IFB to renew IFB AMC further and pay once again to IFB to renew IFB AMC. Overall my experience with IFB is now very bad and I feel cheated by IFB.


Finally I wish to inform that casual approach of IFB with the customer with a view that customer can not do anything even if IFB cheat them and treat them casually is forcing me to take the matter to social media and I will try to make sure other customer are not taken for ride by IFB. I have tried my best in last one month through IFB customer care and several emails to IFB which were never replied and finally I think of trying out to the general public through social media of the IFB customer experience and casual approach of IFB with the customer. This message is in public interest.

Ifb digital sx is one of the best washing machines.


Dryer works very efficiently. Good cleaning quality keep it one place ahead of other washing machines of price range. Lint filter is an extra feature that keeps the woolens getting spoiled due to fibres in washing solution.

The worst services of IFB

The worst service I have ever seen. service providers does not pick your phone calls. customer care does not know the status even after one month of complaint.


I will never recommend any service or product from IFB. customer care never cares customer. ticket no 17212099 complaint was longed on 6th Jan and it was clearly mentioned that magnetic two way valve need to be replaced, but no action till now even after contacting to customer care regularly.

After using this machine for over 2 years I can say IFB makes top quality machines but the only let down with the company is their after sales service and what makes the situation worse is bad service and that too expensive. in my home I have another samsung machine which  was bought with this machine for my brother and it got  repaired twice in the last year.


if you can bear the service part I think IFB is nice machine to go for otherwise I would suggest to go semiautomatic videocon machines, mine was lasted for 15 years.

I bought an IFB maxidry 550 in year 2013 and as living in PG its not possible just to hang the clothes everywhere so buying a Drier was must, also sometimes I am too busy for work and dont have time to put them terrace and also the place was nkt sufficaint .


So I bought this product and was not giving a much thought about it and started drying my clothes in it, sometimes it would take a second time but it would ruin the clothes so I didn't wanted to do it and had to put it on my chair


It was working fine for me as I also didn't had much clothes only my and my roommates, my room mate would also dry clothes but never complaint, also I was also not very much excited to buy the product but it was just doing its job


One day it suddenly it wouldn't dry clothes and would just make sounds I contacted support they said, they will come but will have to pay 250 for visit, I agreed as had no option, the repair guy came 15 days after and then just started the machine and checked it and said next time I'll come with the fixing parts and asked for 250, I said he didn't repaired anything to which he said its for the visit not for repair, I was angry as what kind of policy is it and I said I'll talk to support and wont pay but he argued and I gave him 100 to get rid of him.


I didn't wanted have the same experience so I just called local repairman and he fixed whatever the issue was for just 200 rupees . After completion of my studies we gave it to next PG residents and they only know what is the story with it.After experiancing such issue I was really not in favour that you buy these products, as support is nill and cost is very much


Not recommended .

Had been calling IFB call centre since November 2015 but no response. and when they turned up for service they are asking for 15k for replacement of some small spare parts. which is half the cost of the machine. it is just 2 years old but hell lot of problems. please dont ever buy products from IFB.

IFB Chennai service is worst to the core in providing service. In spite of an active AMC, I am not getting service. I have been calling the customer service for about a month to get my washing machine fixed in vain. The customer care, chennai service center and the branch manager, none is working towards customer service. Total failure of IFB customer care.


I wonder how such a international brand has sub stranded service network and a non-working branch manager.


I will not recommend anyone to go for IFB brand specially in Chennai, because the service is poor to the core. The IFB customer care will push to go mad in following up with them for a service. Till now I have made hundreds of call in vain to get a proper service in spite spending money on AMC.

I bought IFB front loading washing machine. It started causing trouble within 6 months. Even the service is also very poor. We called the customer care several times and everytime they said they are forwarding our complaint. Even now, after one month our problem is not yet solved. I regret choosing this brand.

Not happy with the features available. For lightly soiled clothes also the default program time is 1:15 hrs which I feel is useless. No option of setting the program timings. The only option of quick wash is express 15 which takes 15 mins. After spending so much amount I am getting only one option to quick wash. This is really disgusting. Worst choice. Please do not buy.

The service provided by ifb is very poor. Their products are very costly. But their service is tho poor. One day I was having some technical problem in my washing machine it was falling down while it was running.


So I complained to their service centre but no one approached us we suffered atleast for 2 months. We were facing lot of problems but no one was taking care. We did atleat 10 mails but all in vein. At last we told them that we will take legal action against you. Then after 1 week their representative came and did the work.

IFB is the worst after service provide when compared to any other washing machines. My washing machine is not working since 1 and half month as on today in spite of having a valid AMC. The customer care people close the complaints made to them stating as resolved / attended without ever verifying. We have to call them again & again to get fresh complaints registered(No. 1101067660 Dt.19/11/2015, No. 1101178973 Dt. 08/12/2015 & 1101255990 Dt. 18/12/2015).


I also had a very bad experience regarding the service last year(my last year complaint details prove that my washing machine was in a not working state for a period of 4 months). As a suggestion to all customers wishing to buy washing machine I would strongly advice you people not to buy IFB else you may also have to undergo all this mental torture. From:- Ravindra R. IFB they are famous for washing machine. This  product is good as well.completely satisfied with performance and IFB service. Just bought last week.installation done just in 1 day and the dryer dryies 100% so very happy to see the clothes line gone :)

We were using a Whirlpool semi automatic machine for many years earlier. You have to do some rinsing/cleaning after you take out clothes from those machines and then again put them in to the dryer. One day, we came to know about those fully automatic machines during normal gossips and thinking about how much it would help my mother, my father decided to buy one. IFB were known as a good brand at that time(11-12 years back) and so we brought home IFB Digital 7Kg Fully Automatic Washing Machine.


The price was around 23, 000-24, 000/-.


Its a Front Load Washing Machine.


There are various programmes/settings for washing cotton, woolen, delicate and synthetic clothes and useful settings for quick wash, extra rinse, .and so on.


Spin Speed/RPM: 700 - 1100


You can open the door by pressing the Door button in the front panel and if there is some problem, you can open the lock from the bottom right of machine as well.


Features wise, a good product.


But, the big question.What about performance and service?


I can't say about other IFB products, but this one was the worst choice we made in our whole life. Every now and then, there was some problem, whether it was related to circuit board, the drum, or any other part.


We did regular AMC. The Last AMC finished this year in April after they refused to renew it.


Even the AMC amounts were increasing rapidly in last 3 years.


The Service was usually poor for many years earlier and average in last few years.


The main thing is that this particular model was faulty. So, the machine never worked perfectly for longer periods. You can't even count in how many ways can this WM cause a problem. If some major part needed to be replaced, you will have to wait till it arrived at their local service centre. Worst case, sometimes they carry machine to their service centre for few days and you need to pay for carriage charges when they send it back to your home. And every time there is a problem with WM, you have to wash clothes yourself or ask your domestic help until the WM is back in working condition.


Overall, neither this product is worth your money and nor were we happy with the service/support.


Poor service quality of IFB washing machine

I have a IFB washing machine from 2010. I am under extended warranty and am located in the Sarjapur area of Bangalore. My complain id is 1101172746/ 1101249521.


I have complained on 7th dec and stil now after calling the service centre/help line I have got no help. I understand that they do not have any service centre in Sarjapur region and hence they have no one to send. It is the most pathetic service that I have seen from any white good manufacturer. Unless you have enough time to call 50 times, please do not go for IFB machine. very bad service.

This is regarding my recent purchase of the IFB MAxDry 5.5 kg machine. I placed a request  on Thursday. We were promised installation within 24 hours. However, all the promises made have not been fulfilled.


One technician called on Friday and promised that he would come and install the machine at 5pm. He did not show up and refused to take our calls.


On Saturday the second technician promised to come by evening. He also did not show up and refused to take our calls.


On Sunday the third technician was supposed to come by 9 am. It is now 11:30 am and he has also not come despite promising service today and confirming his availability. He has also turned off his phone and is not taking our calls.


Whenever we call the customer service helpdesk, we are promised that you will call back with a solution and then nothing happens. Now we have been told that someone will come on Monday morning 9 am.


I am fed up with the lack of commitment to SLAs. Your company clearly has no care for customers or their availability. This is one of the worst experiences I have had with a company in recent years. I

IFB does not have proper service capability

I  was using  a  washing machine and dryer and their service was very poor so sold washing on exchange and using another brand.


Now for the dryer, it is under 2  years AMC,  but in the  9 months 3 times there were faults in their product, every time they close without doing anything,


The process would be like this .


-I  will register call


-Someone will come to house - a untrained person, he will say bila bila . and never turned up again.


-After two days  I  will get a SMS stating the call closed.


-I  will call again customer care cry to the customer care officer, be tired cut the call.


-then I  will call local electrical shop person and  get repaired .


My question is what the hell the IFB service people doing without doing anything for the money they taken?. Why as an Indians we have to encourage these companies? Can they do this sort of service in US/UK. the government will not allow them there.

Bought a new Aqua SX 6.5 Kg front load washing machine


Lot of vibration and noise


Called the service person but they say the problem is with the trolley they have supplied!


But they refuse to replace it


Call Harinidhi Enterprises but they do not answer your calls


The service engineers are more worried on selling the items like washing powder, filters etc.


.Pathetic service atleast they can pick up the calls

I had bought a IFB digital 7 kg washing machine 4-5 years back which started troubling 2 years back. So I thought to cover the machine under AMC for 1 year. And in this last year I have seen some of worst customer service standards. Currently u m having pending complaint dated 18.11.15 which is not yet resolved. Customer care just sorry and is helpless.


Service center people don't bother and I m left on mercy. It is extreme winters and I m forced to wash clothes by hand in cold water. Disgusting state of affairs. Completely frustrated with this product and companies customer service
