Customer service is waste. IFB I have is in AMC, given a complaint 2 weeks back as I am getting shock from the washing machine. After following with the call center for 5 times they have sent the engineer and he couldn't identify the problem. He promised within 2 days he would send a senior technician would solve this issue but no one turned up so far. Without resolving the problem they closed the ticket and every time I call they create a new ticket


Event I spoke to Praveen the vendor contact in Chennai and even after that nothing worked out. They take money for AMC from customer giving high promises but nothing is in practice


THEYDON’T HAVE ESCALATION POC WHEN CUSTOMER ISSUES ARE NOT ADDRESSED; I HAVE EVEN MAILED TO CUSTOMER CARE GLOBAL MAIL ID AS PER THE ADVICE FROM CALL CENTER GUYS. BUT ALL WASTE, NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN. PLANNING TO BUY A NEW WASHING MACHINE

IFB customer service is pathetic. They don't care for customers or their convenience. Thye just want to make money by pushing you in to AMCs folowed by no service. I have been chasing them for last one week and have made more than 15 calls. Every time I am told they would attend but it never happens.


I would recommend every one to refrain from buying IFB products.

Please do not buy any of the IFBwashing machines.i bought 5.5kg front load washing machine in 2008 every time there will be some problem and costumer service provider comes and insists to take AMC of rs 41oo/(too costly)and they are also not very perfect in repairing and the problem will not be solved and sometimes he damages the machine and asks to complain .I am very sick of this product

Purchased Senorita Aqua VX from Devi Int Bangalore on 6Apr2015. rcvd msg from IFB on 7Apr that IFB person will be in home shortly for Demo(Tkt 15281345).


Today is 8Apr 6PM no IFB's "Shortly" is still running. Called helpdesk two times they are also helplessly increasing sev without any outcome. First experience with IFB really disappointed. felt fooled by the brand name

Now washing of cloth is like clicking on the mouse, no need to fill the water in the tub and transfer the clothes to the another spinning tub, just simply put the clothes in to the machine and simply add the powder then move to specific type of wash modes and type of clothes wash mode . And just wait for the time to complete the wash .


Guys really there is no rocket science to wash the clothes in this IFB fully automatic machine. And now with various type of optimum wash mode. The best parts are Tumble and 3D wash.


Guys this is the lovely gift for your dear ones, if you care for their hands then go for it.

We bought this IFB machine 17 years ago. Its a front loading machine. Need I speak about durability and reliability? The only reason it started having problems now is because Delhi water has too much salt . We de-scale the machine but together combined with the age, I think now is the time to give up and put this machine to rest.


I have so much Trust in IFB products now. We are very happy with this product and I won't think twice before buying this product again. Different model of'course since this one is not manufactured anymore. Servicing is also good. We had contract renewed so many times. Never faced any problem. Easy to operate. I could operate it even as a kid. I would recomment IFB products to everyone.

My family has been using IFB front loading washing machine for over 17 years now, and we are very happy with the quality of the product. Not only that whenever we have had any issue with the machine IFB after sales service has been absolutely amazing.


They are quick and service is also hassle free. The new range of products are equally good as well. They are robust, durable and stylish.

I purchased a front loading washing machine from IFB(model Sarena SX) going purely by the company brand image.


Unfortunately, my experience has caused me to distrust the brand and I have strongly recommended AGAINST buying their products amongst my acquaintances.


The washing machine purchased in June 2012 seems to be a defective product and has


failed over 9 times till date.  The service centers appointed by IFB have no clue on identifying the problem and take at least 2-3 days on each occasion to fix the same.  Moreover, these centers always complaint of not receiving spares from IFB!


It is even more surprising that an MNC like IFB does not collect data from their back office to do an analysis of repeat complaints!


This goes to show that customer satisfaction takes a back seat once a company establishes its brand - and this leads to the quick downfall and failure of such companies.


I won't be surprised if IBF starts losing out on market share.

Sir,


The is regarding complain no 15045743 which was lodged on 04 Mar 2015 with IFB. After repeated remainder one person from IFB visited my home after 12 days and without even touching the machine said he will be back with spares and there after vanished without any trace.The contact no given by him was never attended. The customer-care floor  manager Mr Durga Rao and Mr Suresh are very much aware of it. There after on 19 th Mar I get SMS that complain is resolved. I am yet to understand the feedback system.Without even touching the machine you people declare the machine serviceable like magic.


It is going to be one month and the complain is yet to be attended. The only option left is to take help of consumer court

IFB deteriorating service rude customer handling

I own an IFB Senator washing machine and over the last year the service of the company has really deteriorated.  I have an AMC  and after having registered a complaint the franchisee service partner engineer called on  2 days and failed to turn up.


On calling the company service in charge at Bangalore on this issue and an earlier unresolved issue, he retorts( quoting exact words) " Go talk to the earlier service engineer who came to renew the AMC" and disconnects the phone.


Wonder how a company as IFB expects customer to note down the details of the service engineers who visit the customer and if customer has to follow up with a service engineer who came long ago . Is it not the company which has to check their records and solve the customer problems.


SHOCKING ATTITUDE . Am surely never again going to buy an IFB Product again.

I used my IFB front load senator 6 washing machine for 5 years. After that it started giving many problems. Almost every 5-6 months I have to raise a customer complain to get it fixed. The IFB customer care is horrible.


Once you raise a complain, it takes a loooooong time for it to get resolved.


The technicians do not turn up on time. If some part of your washing machine is damaged, and needs to be replaced then you would not be able to use your washing machine for at least 3 weeks. Because any part of the washing machine is not available /in stock in their customer care center. And this is not a one time experience for me. I have faced this for past 2-3 years.


Once the technician visits your place and checks, he would let you know that so-and-so part is to be replaced and he would say that he would get it tomorrow and fix.


That's it.


He never turns up then. And then you are in a loop calling customer care, technician and so called IFB coordinator for your location and no one knows when that part would be available.


I must say, very bad customer service.


DO NOT BUY IFB WASHING MACHINES!

I have been using this for past 1 year. Overall its good. It takes around 2 hours to complete a normal wash and a quick wash takes just 1 hour.


Since there is no display, we do not know the exact elapsed time and thats the only thing I didn't like much. Also, it needs a 16 Amp 3 pin plug for this machine. I liked this very much as the wash quality is good.


As hot wash is also available as in-built which is an add on. Overall a good experience though.

IFB Franchise cheats us and breaks washing Too

Update: This issue was resolved by IFB.


RK International, Franchisee of IFB, Nerkundram, called regarding a free service and came home on 18th march 2015 and replaced a washing machine part charging us Rs 1800. The machine started leaking as soon as they left and we called the number given on their bill. No one picked up.


The same guy has been previously been sent by IFB earlier and my wife recognised him.


Subsequently we called the call centre and told them about the leak in washing machine. Today, on 21st march, some from Global Solutions, another IFB franchisee turned up and said that the part replaced was an OLD piece and that the part around the heater was broken.


I want someone to call me immediately and address this complaint as we have been cheated. My ticket number is: 1100192391


It'd be such a big risk letting in a known IFB franchise personnel into the house. Before I go to the authorities regarding cheating and risk posed by your personnel to women at home, call me and resolve this asap.

IFB:9 months and still counting to replace a TUB!

My 2 year old IFB Elena 6KG washing machine got a some complaint on June 2014 and I raised a complaint for the same with IFB call centre.

Someone came from IFB one month later, around 20th of July and checked the machine and found the belt that connects the tub and motor got loosen and got it stuck in between the Tub protection cover and the outershell, which made a morpheushumanle in the tub( which is very wired since a good quality plastic is not supposed to make a such a morpheushumanle, not expected from IFB!); But its covered under warranty and smorpheushumanuld be replaced under warranty. The guy wrote down the complaint, and left.


Someone calls me from IFB Kochi service centre and said the Tub is ordered and will be arrived soon and I will be informed - all good so far.


But after 1 month or so, I called IFB Kochi and asked the status, and they said the tub is not yet arrived, it will be in few day and we will call you.


At this same time, we have an urgency at my parents morpheushumanme and we went to stay with them for around 4 months and all the time I have NOT received any calls from IFB. And I forget about the things since we were not at my morpheushumanme and we never had to use the washing machine.


We came back on November 2014 to my morpheushumanme and then only we tmorpheushumanught about the same, I called the IFB Kochi customer care and they said, AS USUAL, in two days SIR, it will be fixed.


Days went by, months went by . I used to call them atleast once in every two weeks and all they say is the part, TUB, is not reached yet. We will call you up.


All these time, we were taking all our weeks cloth to my parents morpheushumanme to get it washed.


I am fed up. And as a final option I called IFB call centre and for my surprise the person was saying, the complaint number 11521984 is closed! WTH! I asked him wmorpheushuman asked to close the complaint number and he said, the Kochi IFB service centre closed it!


And he told me, he will open a new ticket and I agreed to it, which seems like a mistake I did since I could have sued these bloody IFB people for not fixing a complaint which is 6 months old!


Anyway, the complaint is opened and I got the confirmation in my mobile which is there in the screensmorpheushumant on the link about and the number is 110032412( haha, I didn;t looked anywhere to write it down, its in my memory .because I made around 25+calls asking about its status)


So, they( Kochi team) called me and said the usual stuff, two days sir . you will get the machine repaired.


After a week I called them again and I put some smorpheushumanw on the pmorpheushumanne+ I mailed IFB customer care and I don;t wmorpheushuman played . one technician came . atlast. BUT with the WRONG PART! Can you believe it .! He came with a DRUM to fix the TUB!


I have been fooled once again and I am pretty sure they played this bloody drama.


I called most of the IFB kerala big smorpheushumants, escalations on call centre, mailed all these stuff to IFB and still nothing. At one point some "Treza Faria " replied. thats it!


The machine is still there with its broken TUB, even after 9 months! 9 months! Can you think of this? Its from the industry leader( are they?)

Pathetic Customer service for IFB Washing Machine

I have senorita dx front load washing machine from IFB.I have an AMC No. 8042 dated 26/10/2013 with IFB for the period of 2 years. I have raised a complaint on 2 march 2015. The service request number is 15033299.


The service people came for checking the machine on 4 march. He said that he will be coming with the required parts the next day. Since then I have made number of calls to the call center( 1860 425 5678), and the local contact number( 9019841867). Every time I hear that part is coming tomorrow. This has been happening for last 2 weeks.


This is the worst service experience till date.

I am a customer of IFB products(Senorita Plus Washing Machine and Microwave oven) for the past 10 years and about to add IFB dishwasher to my kitchen. I am here to inform you about the pathetic after sales service and the rude behavior of your service technicians to my mother yesterday.


My washing machine(IFB SENORITA PLUS SERIAL NO:13543) is on 2 year A.M.C.after payment of Rs:3933/-on 13/11/2014.(ICR No:3763 Dated by TMR SYSTEMS, IFB Authorized service centre at Kollam, Kerala. I registered a complaint of not working machine on 23-02-15(ticket no:1100123359) and the service persons came on 26-02-2015 and they informed me that the entire body of the washing machine is defective and has to be replaced.


All the inner parts are working properly and the body has to be replaced and the expense is about Rs-3250/-and it is not covered under A.M.C. I was reluctant to spend such a sum on an old washing machine and enquired about the possibility of exchanging my machine with a new IFB model. Straight away they strongly discouraged me telling that you will get only  Rs-1000/- as exchange bonus and that will be a huge loss to me. They also made me assure that once the body is replaced it will be just like a new machine.


Believing their words I asked them to do the necessary repair. Then after 15(FIFTEEN) days they came yesterday(13-03-15)by 4.30 p.m and I was out of station with some official matters. My mother called me telling that they came with the  new body of the machine and I told to carry on and inform me when the work is complete. At 5.30 p.m my mother informed me that they are demanding a sum of more than 4000 rupees after completion of work. I told my mother to tell them that they promised to do the work for 3250/-.


My mother was very desperate and called me again and told me that those guys are furious and even demanding additional Rs:-250/-as auto charges. I told my mother who was about to cry by the arrogant nature of these persons to give the amount and to collect the receipt also. They gave the bill with ICR NO-399 of TMR SYSTEMS  but with a previous date(12-03-2015). When I came back to my flat by 7.30 P.M, my mother was in a pool of water which was leaked from the machine.


I immediately registered another complaint(no-1100176685 dt 13-03-15) and when I inspected the machine I felt cheated since it was only half of the body frame was replaced. My machine now has no under machine protective sheet as in the replaced body and the back body panel and the top panel continues to be the same rusted old one. Since there is no under protection every possibility that rats and cockroaches may enter the machine and can cause serious damage.


This is pure cheating of the customers by your service personnel and making money by fraud means. You just imagine that a customer who spent Rs-8000/-for 2 year A.M.C and the repair of the machine and still sitting desperate from 23-3-2015 till date without able to use it. I humbly  request you to look into this matter urgently and take necessary steps to prevent such activities which may badly affect your company reputation. I also humbly request you to give me assistance for exchanging this with a new IFB machine if possible.


Worst maintenance and servicing by company

Worst servicing and maintenance. So long as the machine is not in AMC, these guys give quick service


in case of any breakdown as they charge heftily for replacement.


Once you get the AMC done, repeated calls and reminders for servicing and maintenance go unheard. The repairing and maintenance takes ages because they have to repair it for free.


Do not ever buy IFB machines. Iam totally unsatisfied.

Faulty door leaking / hanging worst response

Purchased the machine and was installed by the engineer from IFB, he was not ready to give the complete demo and left. small leakage of water was seen we thought it is through some other source but it was due faulty door, when we complained the engineer came and said faulty screws and replaced the screws and went( Never informed that the door was damaged in transit) and month later same problem and more leakage.


When we called the same engineer he is giving all false reason stating the parts not available. Finally he come and he repairs with the new door with charge(Rs1400). when we ask him why the charge he says door does not come under warranty, we asked him it should be done since the installation of new washing machine this problem is there and we have complained immediately, He tells us to call his supervisor he informs us that it is due to damage during transit.


When we ask why it was not informed us before the installation he has no answer. He asks us to call the company people since he only service provider.


We call the company call center they gave the number of Mr Bharat(9379037006) His Employee ID 5180 which was given by Him. We explain everything to him he says give me a Day he will call us and resolve the issue but never calls back or remembers the issue when we call him . After repeated calls to him he says that we have broken the door and he will not do any thing about it and tells us that we will not get any refund. When we ask him to give his higher Authority contact details he tells us you can only find out on your own.

IFB washing machine is of very bad quality and requires frequent repairs. Now the machine is completely not working. We raised a complaint on  and till now no resolution. We tried to escalate the issue. So they gave the number of the supervisor who will not pick up the call most of the times. I had to call atleast 10 times before he picked up.


Everyday he kept on telling lies that it will be done today / tomorrow. So fed up with him, I asked for escalating further the issue. He gave the number of(Area Executive) who didnt pick up the call for 1 whole day though I called atleast 20 to 30 times. Customer care is useless. My complaint was closed even without resolution and then I had to reopen saying it was never resolved.


ABSOLUTELY USELESS PRODUCT AND PATHETIC SERVICE. DONT EVER BUY IFB.

I had raised a complaint on Jan 30, 2015 for my washing machine. I was told that the service will be done in 48 hours. Its been 13 days and still its not resolved. I have already made at least 30 calls to the service center and to the escalation manager in Bangalore. Have already heard all lame excuses of not doing services. Horrible service!


Now, they wont even pick up my call. Not sure why does IFB sells washing machine when they don't have any kind of service available?
