IFB 6.5 kg TL- RDW Fully Automatic Top Loading Washing Machine

I bought a IFB Front load washing machine from Pai appliance in RT Nagar Bangalore in October 2019. We were told the product comes with 4 years warranty. However over the last couple of the days the rubber on the door of the washing machine was defective and the entire water started flowing out. The service technician who came initially was surprised that such a defect had occurred and then mentioned that the warranty is only for the motor and the PCB and rubber and the plastic parts arent covered. They charged almost Rs 5000 for the rubber+ other accessories. WHile the service technician was well behaved it is nightmare to have a product like this . I had purchased ifb washing machine, within 9 months its cabinet has been damaged, when I had complaint they told its not covering our warranty, you should pay for it.

I have paid Rs.2145 for cabinet.

So, Please don't buy any ifb product.

For 30, 000 Rupees I could have bought 2 New Washing Machine Minus the Headache!!!

Worst service ever. I bought Front load washing machine and they gave 2 years of warranty.

one of the worst customer service I have ever come across. Got defective machine at the time of delivery itself( Tub was Broken) and after using it for 5 months pump and pcb also got damaged because of the earlier Tub problem. Now iam running behind them to replace my old defective machine( under warranty) with the new machine, But iam not getting any response from IFB or from the service center in Kathreeguppe, who are handling my complaint.

I was repeatedly calling Mr. Srinath and Mr. Pruthvi Managers at IFB Customer service center, Kathreeguppe Branch Bangalore. And my complaint request was also closed even with out attending the problem.

One of the worst customer service I recommend you to not Opt for this Brand.

I have filed a complaint with IFB that water is not draining out properly. The customer service person came n said the drain pipe needs to be replaced and said it will cost Rs. 3600 and he also charged me 350 for service charge.

After he left, when I opened the drain pipe there was blockage due to dust accumulation, once cleaned the machine worked properly.

The customer service providers are cheaters and cheat you saying spare parts needs to be replaced even though there is no replacement required.

For a 5 minute job at my end, he was trying to cheat me and charge me 3600 and however I lost 350 for his false identification.

This is not expected from a brand like IFB

IFB washing machines are waste of money. After sales service is pathetic. No body from customer care respond to complaints. Engineers are clueless and takes lot of time even to attend the complaint.Zero rating

I had bought a ifb washing machine 18 months ago and it broke down now and I am following up with the customer service for a week now as it is under warranty but no one seems to be bothered to check whether the technician is coming to fix it or close the ticket.. Buy a LG or Samsung washing machine which provides good after sales service but don't go for ifb as u will regret it like am doing now.

Please refer to cus. Code 0015972477 and AMC/EW No.60972387 for the AMC of my IFB Elite SX 5.5 Kg washing machine.

The equipment is on AMC from 21.07.2020 to 20.07.2022. AMC amount was collected by your franchisee M/s K M Enterprises, Coimbatore.

Since I am having problem in the equipment I had contacted your customer care no 18604255678 on 03.09.20 at 08.58 hrs and made registered my complaint. Since the complaint was not attended till 09.09.20, again today I made another complaint at 12.37 hrs. For both the complaints, your customer care had not forwarded the ticket number to the registered mobile number. After making the complaint I call your service person with M/s K M Enterprises, who had booked this AMC and they informed me that without the ticket number they are unable to attend the problems.

Now it is almost one week after making the first complaint and, as it is nobody had attended the problem. I tried to contact your service manager Mr.Sakthi Aneesh at Coimbatore through his mobile number 782400xxxx, for getting the help in rectifying my problem, but no response eventhough it is ringing. Therefore I request you to please arrange to depute your company service person immediately, as it is almost one week the washing machine is under repair eventhough it is under AMC is there. I want the equipment to be fully functional in all aspects as the AMC is continuing from the date warranty is over.

The complaints are as follows.

1. After was also the clothes are not fully getting drained.

   
   




2. Most of the working positions are not working eventhough the knob is rotating.

   
   




3. Clothes are getting slipped below the wash drum and are getting torn.

   
   




4. Lot of gap is there between the drum and the front side.

I own an IFB washing machine and every time I have to pay 1-2K every half yearly to get it serviced. Looking at this trend I guess that IFB's business model is 'sell your product to a middle-class and then earn on maintainance'.

Such a scammer company and the amount of paper they need before touching machine as if last time they visited couple of years ago , it is now so obvious that i have started recognizing faces who visit my place.

DON'T EVEN THINK OF BUYING IT.

I bought IFB front load washing machine.everytime for maintaining it descaling powder for rs 500 should be used.they told to buy cutoff to protect the board for ts 1200.evenafter that also our boatd got damaged.now to see the fault alone they are charging 600rs with other charges extra.now board cost and other parts come around rs 8000.we have to wait for 2wks.they force everyone to get AMC.dont buy IFB washing machines, too costly to maintain.we can pay salary tor the maid for that cost.worst service also.

I am existing customer of ifb. I don't know what kind of customer service they are providing from ifb.its been since 15days I am contacting to customer for an product exchange of same brand ifb washing machine.everytime when I call they said I will get a call from sales team within 48hrs.but i haven't got any call and after 48hrs I use to call them again and again they said today only you will get the call in 2hrs.like this it happened to me 6-7 times and feed up with this and sent a mail.after 3days of mail, I got a call 5days back and that said they are sending my details to local ifb service team and they will call me and do the process for exchange.at that time I didn't believe and request the person who called me.see this is not the first time I am feedup with your service and I knew I won't get any calls or service will be provided from ifb.she said no sir I will look after into it and keep calling you to give updates.till now since 5days same thing is repeating and haven't get update from sales team or local ifb service.

we can't even call to sales team directly to ask about this.

What kind of service is this I don't understand.this is the only brand I think giving this kind of worst service. I have the call recordings too...and i can prove it.

I had purchased this product 6 years back. I purchased this product based on various reviews. But my decision proved out to be completely wrong.

I would have liked to give "0" stars but unfortunately system does not allow this!

Till date I have spent more on service when compared to cost of the product. After sales service is ridiculous. Cost of the spares are so high & are beyond considerations.

I really do not know how such companies survive in their competition.

My recommendation is never ever go for IFB products.

Bought the machine 2 year back and raised the complaints in the appropriate time with the solid proof of the issue, but it is not resolved even after 5 months. Infact they spoiled the machine with temporary corrections. Just after 2 years machine is in such a bad condition.

If we try to reach customer care, after listening to the issue they just disconnect the call and service center people just postpone the service schedule and act like as if they are going to come.

Please never go for IFB washing machines by expecting good service. Not sure about other products of this brand.

No concern at all for these people for their customers. They are just done if their products are sold..

If your IFB washing machine has repair, better sell and buy a new one.

We had drain clog. when I tried to clean myself, I realized the pipes are permanently attached with yellow gum so I could not clean myself and called IFB service.

The technician without even seeing says we have replace parts and will cost around Rs. 3000/. I explained what is working and what is not.

When he opened the drain there was just a clog and no need to replace the part but he insisted to replace the part partially but charged full price and he was trying to take the removed and remaining part with him. I did not allow.

Then he poured drum cleaning powder and charged Rs1020 which is 50% cheaper in Amazon.

Overall they are forcefully changing parts. Finally he gave a bill of Rs4600/- which I managed to reduce to Rs2930/-.

In the hindsight I should not have allowed to change the part and should have bought drum cleaning powder myself. That would have saved me around Rs2000/-

So beware of thieves in the form of IFB technicians.

The product is at my parent's place and has been giving problem for a while.

For a 18 month old machine, the technician have changed multiple valves, cleaned using descalant more than 4 times. Offlate It has become a weekly affair, the machine would stop working, the technician comes and cites some issue in some valve. change it and go taking sum of money. next week it again stops.

Check the photo of the valve they have replaced. Absolutely in good condition.

Neither the technicians know anything, not they are feeling guilt for swindling customer's money.

I have IFB washing machine there was some problem in it, when I contacted customer service the price they quoted was INR 590 or 860 based on diagnosis by technical person visit and if any parts are replaced that will be extra.

Please beware that if you buy a product do check the after-sale service cost, I was really shocked by the price they quoted for service engineer visit
