IFB washing spare parts are very costly and I have seen motherboard, sensors failure immediately after warranty 4 year and cost is huge. A wrong purchase

This is useless company who do not care for their customers. Pathetic service. I am sharing my experience and my mail I sent to the company.


I am Dr Deepali Vidhale, IFB customer. I bought IFB washing machine Executive model in December 2019. I am very much frustrated with your service and do not wish to buy any other product of IFB hereafter. We were planning to buy IFB dishwasher but by the way we have been treated by your service center as well as customer care we no longer wish so. Out of that frustration I am dropping this mail to you and dont expect much from you with my previous experience. Still if you really care for your future please do not ignore this. You have pathetic service. My machine was leaking few days back, I tried contacting your local service center in Amravati(Rajapeth, IFB point). The person in the center said that your complaint will be attended in 48 hrs. So somebody will come tommorow. Then when nobody turned even next day. I contacted your customer care who said to me I should make a written complaint and should contact them only not the local people. I saud fine again I got a reply to get attended in 48hrs. Again nobody turned up for 2 days. After that I contacted again local center they said u have lodged your complaint just 2 days back and we are very busy. Will attend you in next 2 days. And after calling them number of times they sent a technician after 8 days.Then he detected that my outlet pipe was leaking and needs to be replaced. So he said part will come in 8 days. I said fine. Though I was feeling that a Indian based company should deliver a part of essential use product early. Still I said ok . And I contacted the technician after 10 days. Now even after 15 days part has not arrived and I feel like throwing away your useless machine. If this is the way you people are going to work. Surely one day you are going to be thrown Out of market.


Waiting for your reply if at all you are bothered about your customer.


Worst Product & Worst After Sales Service

I Had purchase IFB (TL-SGDG 7.0 KG AQUA) in 2018 from Reliance Borivali West, Mumbai 400092.


Within 1& half year i started facing the problem with my washing machine.


The drum inside started making huge noise.


We called reliance customer care for support.


But i got negative response from them, saying u contact directly to IFB customer centre.


I tried calling there.


I was lucky that in my 20th attempt my call got connected and on 29th November 2020.


My ticket number is 1005890125.


After booking my complain after 3 days technician is coming with name Raju Sharma.


He said there is faulty with some part and i will get back in one day with part.


After that we made several calls to him but saying part unavailable. How come new washing machine part is unavailable. Than after several attempt we contact Mr. Bhavik branch technician.


He said will be done soon.


But till todays date 8th December 2020 none of has been came to check or reinstall the part.


Than at-last i call again to customer care and spoke to Shailaja. She said me that i am taking ur query on priority notice.


She gave me Branch Superior Name & Number Mr. Gajanand Patel. I tried calling him but cant able to reach him.


So at-last i have to post this on Facebook, Website, Instagram.


Its my request to all customer that don't buy any products of IFB as they are just fooling the customers. So better go for any other brands in which u can get proper after sales services.

The IFB sales is appalling. I had ordered a dishwasher and they said it was in stock as soon as I paid the full amount to get the dishwasher there was no news. After a couple of days when I called the sales office they said there was no stock and it will take 45 days to get the dishwasher. Thought about it and cancelled the order and now they seem to have difficulty in returning my money. When I call the sales Dept they don’t answer and they do not have the decency to call back. Guess they do not know what Customer Service is. Pathetic service Never buy IFB again.


11 years still good product and service

Purchased in 2009 still running in good condition. We took AMC(Annual maintanence contract) after warranty and even replaced motor, drum and other components under AMC which would have been more than 5000 whereas AMC per year is just under 2500.


First you may think AMC is waste but as years pass when major parts get damaged you will know AMC value.


Our Area Service is good but sometimes delayed. Overall it is good.

Dont buy any ifb product because the staff in servicing office is very very poor n worst, irresponsible fellows. I strongly said not buy any product. Machines also worst, nit quality product, it has several times under go damaged. Full of complaints product. Durability, service zero. No rating

I trusted this brand and bought the above product on 6th May 2019. The product is undoubtedly doing very well and I loved its performance.


But the worst part is their service!


I bought the product on amazon and the service personnel named Ganesh came for installation on 10.05.2019 at my residence Nagarbhavi 560072. During installation, he started marketing a lot of accessories and made us believe that without having those accessories the product would have a very short life. Hence we bought a stand, stabilizer, eco crystal aqua appliance water filter, and fluff fabric detergent summing up to 5, 630.


On 26.02.2020, I opted for general servicing and the problem started here. The eco crystal aqua appliance which was bought during installation i.e., on 10.05.2019 ( dates are to be noted) had stopped functioning! This product had a warranty period of 1 year and therefore on 26.02.2020, it was still under the warranty period. However, the service personnel didn't consider that ( reasons unknown! ) and sold us another water filter worth 1850/- and left without giving us an invoice.


I wanted my third service and hence called up the customer care number that showed up on google but to my luck all the numbers appearing there were wrong. Finally, after many attempts, I downloaded their app and booked general servicing.


Another money looting process started!


Service personnel arrived on 18.11.2020 and after inspection told me that the gasket of the machine has to be changed since it had torn and the water was spilling out as the machine ran. And I'm still surprised as to why most of their accessories are not covered under warranty though it is said that 4 years super warranty and 10 years spares support!


What kind of spares support is this?


The gasket tore because of the poor quality and not because of how it was handled by us. If they claim to provide 10 years of spares support won't my gasket which is one of the major accessories come under that? When I asked this the service personnel didn't give me a satisfactory reply, he only tried to convince me.


And for the second time, this service personnel succeeded in selling me the eco crystal aqua appliance water filter again in spite of the product being under warranty period since we didn't have the invoice which is again the fault of the service personnel who visited us during our second service and failed to raise the invoice!


Though the second service guy had written about the same in my user manual and warranty card the same was not considered valid by the third service personnel and hence he ended up billing me again for the water filter! So I spent 18503 in 1 year of using my machine. HOW RIDICULOUS!


Also, another point to note here is in spite of not being considerate the third service personnel forced me to give him a 5-star rating, and later when I inspected his service wasn't up to the mark! ( Cleaning and checking other functioning of the machine) . So it's clearly evident that they come for servicing only to loot you and not to provide you any kind of good servicing!


We have taken utmost care of the product since it's a high-end product and we bought it shelling out 40, 000 rupees of our hard-earned money. And I've spent around 15, 000 rupees in total when the service personnel visited us 3 times to date.


Though my product is performing well all my 3 services were horrible!


I humbly request the viewers here not to go for this product because of their poor servicing in India or if you wanna buy their product then you better keep aside a lump sum amount to shell on these service technicians!

Hi.ThisRangareddy. I am one of the customer in IFB. I have renewaled my IFB warrnty in 25-09-20 . We got some problem in machine. I have complined to IFB care and one of technican came to our home. He said some problem with drum. As per warrnty we have option with replacement. Today 21-11-2020 we got call from one of technician hos name is venkat and his number8143821271 this guy demanding money like anything. He was asking us 600RS for transport charges.if he is asking request manner we are agree with that, but he ia demanding. This is not fare for this IFB. This is the worrst product . Last two years on words we are getting so many problems with this product.please don't take this product. We will get worst response with them.please think before going to take this product

I strongly recommend not to purchase a washing machine from IFB, even if you are getting a gift pls refuse it.


I had a very poor experience with the IFB service team. I have purchased a Seniorita aqua online, Online brand updated 2 yrs warranty with adding some amount. I agreed it is not an IFB mistake. But I have asked for service with pay the local agent visited but he doesn't know what is the issue. I was in my office, he has done a good sale with my mom, he asked my mom you have to purchase multiple items to fix this issue. in the end, the machine remains the same not fixed, but he has completed his target of sale and gone. My keyboard was not working, not able to select and on/ off, Technician arrived he has taken the key bord and gone, came back after 2 days asked 3850 /- he said this is fixed and gone, after 3 days its remain same. I am doing follow up last two weeks, but no show. yesterday one boy came, he took pictures of the machine, old invoice, and updated this is not done by me, soon he left. Today I got a call from CC updated 4 PM some visit, on my mobile 18.45 now.


To all customers of IFB or people who want to buy. Service very poor, none know what is the error to fix. Pls, buy any Indian brand that can fix it immediately.


I had an IFB machine when I was in UAE and Europe, I used 12 years, awesome stuff, but this one and the services in INDIA pathetic. I don't know how they are advertising No1 in India. Not at all. Request to all if you have planned for one IFB pls turn into another brand, not IFB. Count as service and support 0.

IFB 9.5 SDG model. First day of its use its. It working and got repair. Don't buy IFB top loaded washing machine. Go for any other best brand. Installation guy is more specific in selling their accessories rather than on demo and installation. He is blackmailing to give good feedback to activate warranty of my washing machine. Don't purchase IFB washing machine that to in Bajaj electronics.

Very unpleasant and unprofessional after sales service. Despite the warranty, the spare parts have not reached the local service center even after 4 working days. The service center is not even aware when They will receive it. One of the worst client service that is experienced with IFB.

Never buy IFB Washing Machine because there is virtually no authentic after sales support if something goes wrong. Recently my Digital 7kg machine broke down and something burnt inside the front panel mother board. When I called IFB(ticket number 1005608815), they had a precondition of charging 590 rupees visiting charge whether they bring the machine back to start or not! Not just that they were charging more than 4 times the price of the mother board available in the international market. This is unethical looting, taking unfair advantage of the consumers troubles and totally unacceptable! Hope my feedback helps others those who are thinking of buying IFB. By the way, the drum fitting in front load models is also not that impressive and the detergent is way too expensive at Rs 335 for 1 litre bottle. My next washing machine would be a German model for sure.
