Hyderabad Hospitals - Himayathnagar - Hyderabad

I have always heard from my near and dear ones that getting forms filled and the procedures is a huge challenge and for that I have always hoped that no one in the family gets admitted in a hospital. However, recently, my son had a bike accident and broken his left leg and he was taken to Apollo Hospital.

As I was in Apollo, the nurse and the doctor were getting the necessary procedures done and the staff assisted me in getting all the formalities fulfilled. I as an individual had problem in walking and they offered me help and completed all the formalities. I never expected that in an Emergency scenario, how the staff takes care of the patient and their family with ease and assists us in all processes. I am grateful to Apollo hospitals for this.

Rohan Hospital , Vijayanagar colony, Hyderabad. Dr.Jaya lakshmi, gyn  is very good doctor in Hyderabad.Staff is also very good. Doctor is very friendly with patients, I never sea like this doctor in Hyderabad .and staff is also very responsible persons, labour and staff and doctor all are very responsible. I think ladies are very comfortable to talk her about any problem, she is listening all problems, she will give good response to patients.staff is also gives good response in any time. she is available at any time. I like her as a good doctor for ladies.

if any person visits once, they preferred this hospital only. This is my experience.she is eligible for good doctor award.

Please be aware of this Hospital. No matter who ever recommends you. I had a harrowing experience of joining my 32 days old son at this hospital. There only motive is to charge the customer exorbitantly and when it comes to facilities its good for nothing.

My son has chest congestion and was brought to the hospital. He has put into NICU (Neonatal ICU). The fate of the ICU is such that there are beds lined us in a row without any partition and at night there are rats roaming around. I pointed out the excreta of rats lying around, which was reluctantly removed by the ayaa as if she is doing a favor to me. Moreover the ICU has sister changing room and all the washing brooms kept in the area. There is no permanent sister in NICU and her services are shared with other wards.

In fact, they are understaffed and the treatment there is horrible. If you tell the nurses anything they go and compliant Dr. Sudharshan Reddy that the patient is complaining. Dr.Sudarshan in turn comes around and confronts you saying that you should not scold them else they will go away. When I complained him he said he said to the Nurse "Are there are any rats...oh I didn't know". Then he said this is what I can give you, we are different from the city and started to tell me his problems. I don't understand patients come to hospital to tell their problems but here the doctor is telling me his problems. Isn't that strange ?

In order to save cost they also use oxygen pipes and masks from previous patients. when questioned they say it will cost you less. Coming to mosquitoes the silly answer they say is someone might have opened the window...which when I was there never happened.

Even the billing was not upto mark and the staff was bent upon to put all the charges relevant so that they can rake up the bill. I was fed up and for 1.5 days my charge in the hospital was rupees 10, 000/-. I couldn't bear this and took my son immediately to Rainbow Hospital. By God's grace he is doing fine now and my appeal to everyone is no matter how critical it is don't every go to this hospital.

Their motto "Whosoever comes squeeze them".

Asian Institute Gastroenterology, Hyderabad, the worst hospital in Asia...With out any doubt...the main aim of this hospital is only Money and nothing else. Based on my bitter experience of losing my grandmother, I found out that the treatment level of this hospital so poor that it would be great if one admits the patient in a government hospital than admitting a person to this hell.

I wonder why no action is being taken on this hospital because it doesn't allow at least one family member into ICU atleast a day after the operation is done. They mint money like anything that cannot be expressed in words... it can only be know if one experiences it in this hell.. The Behavior of the staff varies with the status of the customer. They are very rude to lower class....a bit better to the Middle class and polite to the Upper class. And let me be frank in telling you that this hospital does not have any of the surgeons mentioned in the so called board at reception, they only hire the doctors from other reputed hospitals.

Well coming to the experience when operation is taking place, one has to carry at least 1-1.5 lacs of cash (no matter whether the operation is minor or major) while waiting at the lobby at the OT. A security guard or nurse comes to you and asks you to get the medicines and other stuff only from their own medical shop near the reception. the other stuff includes petty items such as injection (which costs 25 rs etc). And I bet you wont get any response from the Staff at OT at least 5 hrs after operation. After five hours of operation a person comes and asks us to go to counselling room and he explains us the situation of the patient and shows the patient video on the TV screens by a vulgar, over confident so called MBBS doctor Mr. Madhu.

At last they inform the death of patient either early morning or at late night based on the situation. The worst part is that they even don't allow any person(family member) to meet the patient at least 10 mins before the death.

I strongly feel that there's something fishy going on in this hospital by watching some of the facts I mentioned above. Hope anyone takes action on these kind of hospitals. Finally if you want to experience what is HELL...then do visit Asian Institute Gastroenterology!!

I guarantee that you will never ever forget this HELL until your death!!

My grandfather is 65 years old and he was having constant sight problems. He complained of having blurred vision and also witnessed streaks of light at the corner of his eyes. We took him to a nearby hospital for check up and there he was advised to wear glasses of minimal power while reading and watching television. However, the glasses did not help him much and he continued complaining about the same problem. Following this, my father’s friend advised him to take my grandfather to Apollo.

We knew about the hospital but felt it would be a little bit expensive for us. But due to my grandfather’s discomfort, we decided to take him to Apollo. My grandfather was diagnosed with some serious problems of the ciliary muscles of eyes and was prescribed with certain medicines and eye drops. According to the doctor, a little bit more delay in bringing him to the hospital would have had serious effects on his eyesight. I am glad that by paying a little more than usual we could cure our grandfather’s sight problems, for there is nothing more than health. Apollo is quite a good hospital and moreover it has doctors who have a good diagnosis power.
