Good Melody

Two handsome men of Bollywood come together for the first time with a very pretty Amisha Patel in the movie ''Humko Tumse Pyaar Hai'' directed by Vikram Bhatt who is a school buddie of Bobby Deol. He has directed two with Bobby Deol, Jurm and Bardasht. I ve listened to the music and found its worth mentioning in mouthshut.com. All the songs are very good and hummable but the songs which I loved to listen again and again are:

1 Title song ''Hum ko Tumse Pyaar Hai'':

The lines of this song goes like this :Tumko chaahe tha tumko hi chahenge....sung by Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik is the best song of this movie.Itis picturised on all the three of them. The picturesque beauty where the song is suited is very captivating. Needs worth listening. The song sounds very mraningful too.

2Chori se dil churale koi jee chaahata hai mera

This song is picturised on Booby Deol and Amisha Patel,is the romantic number of this movie. This song is sung by Kumar Sanu and it gives a feeling of freshness to the song. This song reminds one about the number ''Tune zindagi me aake..'' from Humraaz sung by this same pair.

3.Tere Ishq me paagal ho a:

This song sung by UditNarayan and Alka Yagnik is picturised on Arjun Rampal and Amisha Patel. It appears to be a folk song and an aura of romance to the song. The lyrics are worth listening.

On the whole this film's music is very good far away from the lyrics ang vulgur picturisation of most of the songs of recent times. The music is scored by Anand Raj Anand. Definitely the movie is going to bank on its music to win in the boxoffice and I wish this movie all the best in the boxoffice.

A regular romantic music album

Bobby Deol, Amisha Patel and Arjun Rampal get one more opportunity to prove their credentials at the box office with ' Humko Tumse Pyaar Hain ', made under the banner of cineyug films. The same banner who gave us musical hits like Daamini and Raja Hindustani.'. The film was launched way back in 2000 and will release this Diwali. One hopes HTPH meets with better results.

Directed by Vikram Bhatt[and late Bunty Surma], it is a typical T-Series setup with Anand Raj Anand and Dev Kohili in charge of the songs.

Title song 'Humko Tumse Pyaar Hain ' is a conventional yet melodious way to begin the album. A typical ' pyaar kahaani number', it is pleasant to be heard in spite of carrying a typical 'music bank product' label. Kumar Sanu , Alka Yagnik and Anand Raj Anand play their parts as required.

Kumar Sanu, gets to sing the sad version of the title track 'humko tumse Pyaar Hain'.Despite a sad theme it doesn't drag and thankfully sounds good. Wordings in the song are good . A full-fledged sad track, it is situational and should gel well with the mood of the film.

Things seem to be going in a better direction with ' Chori se Dil ', a sweet-romantic-melodious number by Kumar Sanu. The best song of the album so far, it exudes charm and turns out to be quite enjoyable overall. The track is pretty lively . One can in fact well imagine Kumar Sanu to be his traditionally best while recording this number. This song is worth to be heard repeatedly.

Traditional Laxmikant Pyarelal brand of music comes in the form of ' Bajne Lage hain ' . Udit and Alkal go through the motions primarily while Dev Kohili's lyrics are a just a repetition. A song that could have been designed for Anuradha Paudwal instead, it may not even be found in the actual run of the movie.

'Kaise Tumhe ' a romantic number by Udit Narayan and aLKA takes you back to the music of 90S.. This romantic number has Anand Raj Anandd touch throughout . The number starts off well but after a couple of minutes becomes quite ordinary. Second version of this song is also available which is a below average track all the way!

Yeh Mehndi Ke Boote'just doesn't stand any chance .It is the worst track of whole album sUng by Udit ,Alka and Babul. Ignore this!

After some forgettable songs, Anand Raaj Anand come back very strongly with ' Dhola '. On the lines of ' Chaiyaa Chaiyaa ' from ' Dil SE', it has a fab opening by Sukhwinder Singh.

'

Final song of the album ' Tere Ishq Mein Payal'is sung by Udit ,Alka and Sapna. A romantic number, it is again straight from the 80s and has a typical Bappi Lahiri arrangement. A fine number, it won't make any waves in the music industry but is sure to fit well in the movie. Alka/Udit's singing compliments Dev Kohili's lyrics well .

Well, after not too happening scores in Chahaat Ek Nasha and Jurm and some fairly good music for plan, ANand Raaj Anand delivers somwhat OK music with HTPH that has lilting melodies like 'title track', and 'chori se' .

To put it simply,Humko Tumse Pyaar Hain is a regular romantic music album with an average score. Those who have liked this brand of music for years and still are in mood to hear such numbers would be interested in hearing the songs from this album.

Bobby Amisha last time paired in Humraaz. Now Hum Ko Tum Se Pyar Hai arrives and music released this week. Anand Raj Anand composed the music and Dev Kohli takes care of the lyrics department. Anand Raj Anand is going through tough patch of his career. His last goodie which I considers is Kaante, after that he has given some good songs in Musafir but overall not very hot. Dev Kohli is at best when it comes to Punjabi tracks but in Hindi he lacks that greatness.

Hum Ko Tumse Pyaar Hai

Kumar Sanu, Alka Yagnik & Anand Raj Anand

Title track always fascinates as composers work more on it as mostly it become the first in promos and it become the identity of the movie. ARA tries to attempt old fashioned tune and with the use of olden instruments arose a feeling that the song was composed 10 years back. Kumar Sanu appears in his full form of Nasal singing in this song. Alka doing well and ARA add as a helping verb in the sentence. Overall a below average track.

Hum Ko Tumse Pyaar Hai-Sad

Kumar Sanu

This version is also present in the album as the olden days come back. I would say it a stone age track as the song lyrics are like those. Kumar Sanu is an expert in these kinds of songs. ARA tries to cook a Kichadi and it isn’t well cooked or not of mine taste. Avoidable song.

Chori Se Dil Ko

Kumar Sanu

Dekha Tujhe Maine Jab Se Dil Main Bas Ek Naam Hai Jane Jaan Jane Tamanna Tu Meri Gulfaam Hai. Clear inspiration from the song of Agnisakshi. ARA only rearranged the song and gets the results. Kumar Sanu this time too nasal user. Overall the song is nice not too bad. as the inspiration behind was fine so this proves to be a decent romantic number.

Kaise Tumhe

Udit Narayan & Alka Yagnik

Pyar Ishq Aur Mohabbat. No this time its not an inspiration but the song is from this category. Udit is as always pleasant and Alka maturing her qualities. An average track with plain music no harm to the new way s of music again. But one thing is the song continues the rhythm of the album. overall a pure average track. Another version of the same track is also present with Udit as solo. Slight change in beats but not new ones to have variety ARA added Rajhistani music in it. Seems to be a situational number.

Bajne Lage Hain

Udit Narayan & Alka Yagnik

ARA not tries different in this track too to maintain the album or he was having any anger on the Producer of the movie. He has given the low profiled tune which may only be effective if people lose their memories and forget the songs produced in late 80s. Then only one can enjoy the song. Otherwise not listenable.

Ye Mehandi Ke Boote

Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik & Babul Supriyo

This song confirms that ARA was not in good mood while making the music or he wanted to use all his rejected tunes ever produced. If he would have tried to add some trendy music may be the song got some favour from my side but it just fails and this time again the song continues the pulse of the album and disappoints clearly.

Dhola Aayo Re

Sukhwinder Singh & Sapna Awasthi

Thanks God some thing to Cheer in the album and that is Dhola. Sukhwinder being composer himself knows that what is the good tune and what is the bad tune. So he almost always picks superb ones. This time an above average track, But from the album’s point of view this is the golden number and the best track of the album.

Tere Ishq Mein Pagal

Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik & Sapna Awasthi

Bad form continues for ARA and this disappointing track closes the album. Udit seems to be a familiar fellow as he sings the wordings and Sapna Awasti gives a repetitive sort of feeling, whereas Alka after singing a lot for Nadeem Shravan cant able to get out of that frame of mind. A simple plain tune almost boring and disappointing stuff.

Somewhere on Mouthshut I said that Vikram Bhatt is having a bad music selection and here I repeat my statement he is not having music sense even. He picked some worst songs for his movie or relied on ARA more who gave him all his unused flop tunes and finally providing us this poor soundtrack.

If you are a music lover and don’t want to miss any single album released in the market then my suggestion is that this album wont make any harm if you don’t buy it. Have some burger and eat it with a Cold Drink and avoid this sluggish effort.

Thankz

It’s Sana ( ( ( ( ( O ) ) ) ) )
