CHEATING and FRAUD from Housefull.

I have booked a product on May 10, 2016 from Housefull when they placed a news paper add on discounted price. I ordered Inlay Sofa-Cum-Bed. My order number is #111138 and I also received a Delivery Challan HDC No.:  9953/2016/1564. Till now I received multiple deliver reschedules.


The most shocking thing is when I wrote to their customer care, they are now telling the product is discontinued whereas I clearly see this product and similar products that were on the news paper add are still available for purchase on their website. However the prices have now increased and it appears that is the reason they do not want to deliver the product to me. As of now I have insisted that I need the product delivered as it is available. they cannot give me the reason of product is not available. I have asked them to deliver me any sofa-cum-bed which was in the similar price range at the time of offer. I see no response from them yet.


I already drafted my case for filing in consumer court along with the news paper add and proof that the product and similar products are available in their website even today. If I do not get a fair deal from Housefull in next day or two, I am filing the case in Consumer Court with all proofs. This appears to me a clear case of CHEATING AND FRAUD.

Misleading House Full Sale Offer

I saw House Full heavy discount offers and purchased 5 Door Storage cabinet and Shoe cabinet online from House Full International Limited. Before purchasing these items I checked description of both the products completely and it was mentioned that products will be made up of "Compressed wood"(see attached product description screenshots). I placed order for both the products but when products got delivered and later installed I found that back side of both the products are made of cheap card board(it is very thin) instead of "Compressed wood" and Shoe cabinet's back is fixed with simple transparent tape that we generally use for sticking papers and doors were made up of plastic.


I wrote a mail to cc@housefull.co.in(House Full customer care) for these issues but they did not replied to my mail and after reminding them of this issue they just called me(from 02267239786 on 12th May) and said that "since now I have already purchased the item nothing can be done". This is a clear case of cheating, merely purchasing a product doesn't mean that it is customer's mistake. I raised the issue at the right time but they are selling these products by misleading ads where product's information is not being shown correctly and product description displayed online and actual description are too different. Now in my view it is not sale or discounted product but just cheap quality product being sold in the name of sale. And it is very funny to know that this so called sale is ON since the last many weeks. My advice is not to purchase any product from House Full.


When online version of the product description itself is misleading then almost everyone is going to face the similar issue and pathetic is that they are doing this deliberately and it is evident from their reply.


More than that now when I am trying to login to House full online account, getting'User Not Found' error, not sure why is it happening but due to this I am not able to update my reviews for those cheap products.


Further update as on 07th October 2016: As I predicted and was visible from the day one, shoe rack's ply(made of low quality LDF) is getting bend from the middle by itself. Its border from inside and outside both is getting removed by itself and I am trying my best by applying adhesives so that it can work at least for the next 5-6 months.

Delayed Delivery! Used Furniture! Delayed Replacem

Ordered a Dining Set on 24 April with delivery commitment before and on 3rd May. The chairs(some unpolished) arrived on 1st May without the main unit and when this arrived on 5th May(despite promises for 4th) it had clear usage scratches and damages(the customer support team initially indicated that this is the store display product, however, the Store Manager did assure that this is not!).


After confirmation by the carpenter who had visited for installation, replacement was committed and scheduled in priority, however, all commitments turned out to be only in writing without real action.  The eventful delay has resulted in cancellation of some personal pre-booked travel plans which has in turn resulted in incurring high cancellation charges(leave aside the inconvenience and trouble caused) and even on the 20th day of payment - the products lie half wrapped in my living room!


Had requested for a cancellation / refund to which the team advised that generally this is not the policy but after insisting, they indicated that it needs to be check with the management, however, then with a commitment of resolving everything, again persuaded to wait and also promised for a gesture on account of expenses incurred - by means of discount / credit note etc.


The replaced product sent also has visible flaws - appears to be of some coloured mark in the wood or some hole filled by some paste and polished! This has been communicated to your team immediately and again await the way forward!  On the damages I am informed that the management has agreed for some "Wall Decorative" or Painting to be given - please note - for expenses incurred to the tune of 15, 000, your responsible team is offering a respite of few hundreds! is that justified.  I am asked to contact some Mr Pallath who is responsible for customer relations.


Mr Pallath - if you would have bought some furniture, which turns out to be a used product in the first instance(you would appreciate, seconds product are sold in half the price) and then exchanged in haste, again with doubt on being completely acceptable product(visible flaws to be examined by your carpenter) and this process being going on for almost 15 days now, what would be your course of action! To add to this, this has caused me incurring charges - with no fault of mine - who is responsible to bear these.


All in all - I feel there are better brands available who have developed the repute by ensuring timely action and customer satisfaction, would myself prefer and recommend those! If you cannot resolve this, please take away your delivered goods, help me in getting my refund with damages.  I have the similar product available with a different seller - in just a few thousand more, but I am sure, will not be as troublesome as what I have witnessed.

Very poor quality furniture

I have bought a chest of drawers from housefull on 2014. After using for a few months only I realized being deceived of its looks and pricing. The material as well the fixtures( the rollers and tracks and handles are plastic) are of very poor quality.


A situation came that the drawers be handled with much care or else will come off tracks. Later within 2 years I was forced to get rid off it since it didnt serve its purpose and became an eyesore.

I bought 4 articles in 2011 worth of 85K then.  Everytime I shift my house,  only their assembly technician can dismantle or assemble it.  Regular furniture or carpentar guys cant handle this furniture assembly.  This stupid furniture has got so many complicated joints that we need to have their service technician only for the job.


Now,  shifting my house to Boisar,  and housefull guys say that they do not have service till Boisar, and only till Mumbai.  Though I am ready to pay them(already paid them twice in Bharuch houses shifting)they refuse to send the service technicians.


I do not know what to do with the furniture now, since local carpenters raise their hands that they cant dismantle it or assemble it.  I am badly stuck.  At the time of buying,  I did not know that assembly/dismantling will be such a pain in the hole.  Otherwise I would not have bought it for sure.


VERY POOR PART IS THAT  THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE.  THEY DO NOT EVEN KNOW HOW TO TALK TO THEIR CUSTOMERS  WHO ARE  IN TROUBLE.  THE CUSTOMER SERVICE LADY DOES NOT UNDERSTAND THE CRITICALITY / TECHNICALITY OF THE CUSTOMER AND REPEATS STEREOTYPE SENTENCES.  HER  SENIORS DO NOT HAVE BALLS TO TALK TO THE CUSTOMERS TO UNDERSTAND THE ISSUE.


FOR SURE THIS COMPANY IS GOING TO DIE, IF THEY HAVE SUCH POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.


IT IS OR FAULT TO BUY SUCH COMPLICATED/MONOPOLY ITEMS  THAT ONLY HOUSEFULL CAN ASSEMBLE OR DISMANTLE.  THAT TOO WITH THEIR VERY VERY LIMITED THE ASSEMBLY SERVICE  NETWORK.


FRIENDS!  DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE GUYS.  WILL SUFFER LATER.

I came across this website 3 weeks back when I wanted to buy a wodden cupboard


I saw a discount on this website for gudipadwa and I purchased a cupboard. I got this cupboard but it was of very low quality wood ply


The wood ply was so thin that it can break easily. When I contacted them they said this was only shown in the picture. They refused to grant me a refund. Highly dissapointed guys. Do not purchase anything from here

This review seeks to give a detailed explanation with regard to the quality of furniture, sold on HouseFull.co.in and the reasons why I will never purchase any more furniture items from this online furniture retailer, ever again!


I bought 4 pieces of furniture from Housefull.co.in: a dinning table, a large coffee table, a queen size bed and a single size bed, for my new home. What attracted me to Housefull in the first place, was the incredibly reasonable pricing of various furniture items and wide array of products, in comparison to other online furniture stores, at the time such as Fab Furnish and Home Centre.


The only issue that I faced initially, was an unexplained 7 day delay in the home delivery of these furniture items, even though I had paid by debit card, but I let that issue slide, as the men who delivered and assembled the furniture items were very helpful and cooperative.


Now, the problems started within 6 months of purchasing these furniture items.


For starters, I discovered that the large coffee table, bought for my living room and the dinning table, had glass tops that had clearly been made utilizing some inferior quality glass, as evidenced by the fact that these glass tops were interestingly, prone to scratches and patches!


My suspicions were confirmed, while trying to clean the glass tops of my newspaper rack(that had been brought from my old home in Chennai), dinning table, coffee table and kitchen counter. It turns out that the quality of the coffee table glass top, is even more inferior than the glass top of the dining table, as the glass cleaning solution seemed to work wonders for everything, but the coffee table! Minutes after applying the liquid on the coffee table's glass top, the solution started to stick to the glass top and even after many attempts of furious wiping, with a clean and soft cloth(as per the instructions provided on the label of the glass cleaning liquid), all I was greeted with, were sticky patches of liquid, clinging on to the glass top for dear life! Such patches are a breeding ground for dust mites!


Second, my dining table has this quirky little feature of having a second glass top underneath the main table glass top, fixed by means of four long screw like contraptions, that looked pretty delicate! Sure enough, one of the screws is gradually giving way! Oh and the legs of the dinning table, are made of wood and are very sturdy, but black leathery covers have been stitched on to each of the four legs of the dining table and the stitches are already giving way, for one leg!


I guess I can safely conclude from all this that lower prices, translate to lower quality! Luckily, the single size bed and queen size bed, remain intact to this day!

I bought Jacob Queen Double Bed from Housefull through Pepperfry.The quality is terribly bad.The bed is assemblage of wooden planks  manufactured in Malaysia. Within 30 days of Warranty the carpenter had to visit my home 3 times.Now its planks supporting mattress have broken and bed is rendered useless within 6 months.Neither Pepper-fry nor Housefull is willing to help when I am willing to pay. Wastage of Money and embarrassment to our family.


Please donoy buy any furniture from Housefull or Pepperfry just to save 25%.It is big disappointment.

its a wonderful website if you are looking to purchase any furniture. this site has all the furniture category wise. you can search bedroom collection, living room collection, office furniture, etc. The best part to this website is you can customize payment option to easy emi. home delivery option is efficient for the users who can not give time to purchase the things. rate  / price wise items are cheapest as quality is good.I Personally felt that Furniture is on cheapest price for example if you buy queen double bed, it will cost maximum 9000/- rs. it is seriously very cheapest.

Repeated postponement of delivery of goods ordered

My first experience with Housefull was OK several years back. I got what I ordered on the promised date. However I had a very bad experience this time.


I ordered a recliner  and 2 sofa sets(order no 1060/2016/53) on 26 Jan 2016.


Promised date of delivery is 12 Feb 2016.


Recliner was delivered after a few days well before the promised date.


Till today sofa sets were never delivered. When I called the local office in Chennai or head office in Mumbai, the reply I get was that "we will call you back". But they never call back. There is no regret from their side too.  I even sent a mail and again no response. I asked for refund of the non delivered product. No response.


I have given list of SMSs informing me the order was rescheduled and the word "regret' is found only in these SMSes. Date Rescheduled to

Worst customer service center, absolute crap people sitting with out any idea.


Extra charge on delivery and fitting from stores.


Delivery and fitting will be done only at their convenience. Customer convenience sucks. They will call 1 hr before fitting, you should be available!No other options . these wont be informed till you get the delivery memo after payment.


Its carpenter's wish to come or pickup your phone .


Complaints to customer service is of no use. Worst customer service center, absolute crap people sitting with out any idea.


if you Complaints to store contact they will shout at you.


Never ever go for this shop/store.

My name is vamshidhar, As per my experience I feel its better not to shop with housefull online shopping websites.


Recently I have ordered CAMRY 4 SEATER DINING SET TEAK for 26000 INR. The price shown was 45000, it is said that we can get 20000 discount, I really believed it and ordered the product which consists of a sturdy dining table, 4 sheesham wood chairs with bench.  And the charges for shipping is 800 rs.


The same product is available in our city i.e., in furniture mall for 21000 only, then I realized that they cheated me.


I got the product after 20 days, even the days of delivery will not be mentioned.


There is no return polcy for them.


Be realistic while buying friends

Please do not buy anything from Housefull furnitures. These.These people are good fr nothing, there customer care team are not at all supportive  They do not know how to deal with customers.i have ordered the sofa set and hey delivered after 3 and half months and that one also defected.


I called the customer care for replacement or quick action, but till now they have not taken any action.still I am waiting for their action(1 month after complain)

I had booked 2 Racks in the most recent week of December from pune Houseful showroom amid a deal with a guarantee, it will get conveyed by seventh Jan, It was a four piece item, they have sent part shrewd Still to get the last product.


No Coordination in the middle of Stockroom and the showroom, both give distinctive information.Unnecessary barrage of sms for the amazing conveyance dates in all around 50 smses.


Havent go over such terrible organization which can't convey furniture even after 50 days.Does such administration still make due in such focused markets.

I had booked 2 Shelves in the last week of December from pune Houseful showroom during   a sale with a promise, it will get delivered by 7th Jan, It was a four piece product, they have sent part wise  Still to get the final product. No Coordination between  Warehouse and the showroom, both provide different information.


Unnecessary bombardment of sms for the staggering delivery dates in all around 50 smses. Havent come across such pathetic company which cannot deliver furniture even after 50 days.Does such service still survive in such competitive markets.while writing this compliant another sms come for new dates of delivery.Are the management aware of such practices. Pity pls think twice before buying.

I placed an order for a chest of drawers on 19 December 2015. At the time of placement of order there was no delivery period mentioned. Unfortunately I still chose to proceed with the order payment, paying the full amount.


I was informed that the order would get delivered on 16 January 2016, almost a month after placement of the order and making the payment. A few days ago I received a call stating that the order would be further delayed and delivered only another month later(mid-Feb).


I have been trying to reach their service centre number, but since the last two days I am being told(made multiple calls to the service centre) that the servers are down and the status of my order or any requests cannot be entertained.


I sent an email requesting for a refund of my payment given that I had no clarity on delivery over a month after placing the order but received no response at all!

This is a good online website for shopping. I ordered for shoes. The price was Rs.3221. When I booked for the shoes they delivered the product very promptly through the DTDC.


The shoe was having a scratch over it. I noticed that it was the mistake of the courier agency. I report it to Houseful.co.in . They felt very sorry over it and sent their technician and got it repaired. I have never seen such service earlier. A good site for online shopping with confidence and trust.

I placed an order with Housefull on 29th Dec 2015 and made the payment in full.


The issue is that I have not received any confirmation mail nor this order is available in "My Order" page.


I called customer care at 022-67239800 to confirm the status and I was informed that sales team will call me in 1 hour.


I have not received any call. I have no idea of the product status - if this confirmed or not, what is the delivery date.


Better not to opt this website for online furniture purchase.

This is request to all of you. please do not shop anything from house full furniture.


Services are very bad. They do not provide any tracking details of your product. There is no guarantee of delivery. once you received your product, the main problem starts.For Assembly, You have two option. one is to wait for carpenter or you have to do it by yourself.


If you are waiting then please have enough patience. If you are calling their customer care you will get only one answer: Tomorrow Morning.


I will rate this app as not even a single star.


I am feeling very helpless and I ordered 50k furniture in one shot like a fool.


you cant not cancel your order nether you can return it.


only thing you can do is wait.


Normally companies makes customer,  better company makes happy customers but house full furniture will make you fool.
