My sofa has started developing cracks and leather is tearing off at the areas where sofa has wrinkles on the arm seat and sitting area. However customer rep even without listening to entire issues,  is calling it as regular wear and tear. But one look the product and it's obvious it's not regular wear and tear but manufacturing defect instead.


I have requested them to at least look at it and make a call themselves but instead they are talking about cost of repair. If a product develops some serious issues within warrant period should company replace or fix it. I am attaching the snapshots of the product, please have a look and see if it's 7 months wear and tear or manufacturing defect.

Here is the mail that I wrote to Housefull after the so called asst.manager misbehaved with me after I asked for the extra shelf which was missing on delivery! Housefull didn't reply to my mail! .keep out of these cheats! Hi, This is with reference to the customer behavior of your Bannerghatta road, Bangalore store assistant manager regarding a query of one of the items that I had purchased from the above store.


While booking the product, I was told that even small customization can be done by paying the corresponding price for it from the store.So, I was interested in having one extra plank for the wardrobe and I paid Rs: 800/-( Rupees Eight Hundred only) for an extra plank. The carpenter has written that on my bill and put his signature also. The carpenter told me that at the time of assembling, they will bring the extra plank but yesterday when the assembly guy came and I asked him about the extra plank, he said he had no clue about it and then I had called the Housefull Mumbai head office.


The Mumbai office gave me two numbers( of Manjunath and Nagaraj) of Bangalore store and I was told that they were the concerned persons and I had to get in touch with them to know the details. I had first called Manjunath but he didn't pick and so I had called Nagaraj-9743785180. I had told him that I had already paid Rs: 800/- but I have not yet received the additional plank and the person who took the money had signed on the bill.


Nagraj replied me in a much higher tone that it was my fault that I had given money to one person and unnecessarily asking him.When I asked him to tone down his voice, he in re turn said"You shut down your voice". He literally said these words and when I said I would complain against him, he said"Go ahead and complain in the customer service section".Now is this the service that you people are giving? Is this the respect that you give to your customers and expect that you can do business?


Was I wrong is asking the so called assistant manager about the whereabouts of the additional plank. It's sad that I had purchased the product from your store. I will ask all of my friends and office colleagues not to buy anything from your stores. The company which doesn't know what does customer service mean is misfit for doing any business in today's market. I want a strong and stringent action to be taken against that Nagaraj fellow so that it can become an example for others in the company otherwise I feel you people are nowhere there in today's business and I won't do any dealings with you in future and read this message as much as I can!

Wild goose chase after your payment is collected

The products are of decent quality and available at attractive prices. The drawback is that the product gets delivered after a month (this is communicated at the time of purchase). Usually the product comes un assembled and then a carpenter visits to assemble the item. The service was good at least 2 years ago when I first purchased from them.


My recent experience with them has been terrible. The delivery and assembly dates are not communicated properly. Even when you take pains to reach the customer care, the committed timelines for delivery and assembly are not met.


Arrogant customer care executives just put you on hold for eternity and never call back, provide updates. Go with them only if you are tolerant to unprofessional responses and have lots of patience.

Placed order on 13/10/2013 for SPECIAL METRO 2D BEDROOM SET, order number 34886 on housefull.co.in. Cheque was collected on 19/10/2013 i.e. after 6 days though they promise a 2 day turnaround time. Delivery which was supposed to be within 14 days, i.e. on the 27/10/2013 was later promised for 2/11/2013 i.e. 14 days from collection of cheque.


After repeated calls, delivery of parts was made on 5/11/2013( learnt then that assembly of parts wouldn't be done the same day). The guy delivering the parts was a rude thug who demanded money for the delivery even though delivery charges had already been paid when ordering. When refused this money he turned from being rude to using expletives.


Called the Bangalore operations manager Harsha( 9743786379), he was least bothered about the rude behavior of his employee and said that assembly of parts had a turnaround time of 48 hours. After 72 hours, i.e. on 8/11/2013 the carpenter came to assemble the products.


He found two of the planks damaged and had to place a complaint for replacement of the same.


Now customer care says the replacement parts will reach at best by the 20/11/2013( assembly might take longer). Addendum to the above, the customer care numbers listed on the site goes unanswered most of the time and the chat facility responds rarely too.


Should a customer really have to wait 40 plus days for his order, would he ever have ordered if he had know he would face this kind of harassment. I regret ordering from this brand that doesn't know how to take care of one simple order. It might be just another small order for them but they should understand that its a "timeline" event for the customer.


Writing this long review is so other prospective customers will be able to make an informed decision.

Worst service and faulty product

I bought a 5 door display piece wardrobe from Bangalore Housefull. Wardrobe was missing one shelf for which I paid 800 Rs extra, and they promised to fix it on the same day it is delivered. My HDC no is 3070 and purchase date 19.10.2013.


In-spite of following up for so many days today on 6th Nov. their person came for assembling. And we found the shelf is missing. I had reminded them at least 5 times that the shelf should come along with wardrobe. Now when I call the store, they behave arrogantly and when I said I will write bad review about you, Mr. Nagraj one of the employee says, we don't care we have lot of customers.


If they have this attitude, I wish Housefull to be closed permanently in Bangalore. When I was purchasing the wardrobe, one elderly women was shouting on these people because she had not received what she had ordered for, and she had been following up for more than 6 months. I should have listened to her:(.


All Bangaloreans, I warn you, if you buy from there, next review will be yours with poor rating. Don't go for cheap cost. These people has to learn, they cannot get away after cheating. I don't know, how many more follow ups I will have to do for fixing the shelf.

I bought a 4 door kitchen cabinet. It was delivered 3 weeks later. Technician assembled it. Broke one of the shelves while fixing it. Said he will be back with the broken part in 3 days. This was in June 2013. This shelf is yet to be replaced. I have raised 5 complaints to the customer service.


Every time they will close saying that the complaint has been resolved( probably for the sales guy to look good) but the shelf remains broken and I have not seen a Housefull guy this last 5 months.


Don't buy from houseful. Do so at your own peril.

I had seen ads from Housefull over a period of time and wondered how they were selling so cheap. I finally got an opportunity to go to Housefull at Marathahalli, Bangalore on 1st October, 2013 as I wanted some simple and inexpensive bookshelves and wardrobes for my children.


I can say with certainty that nowhere else in Bangalore have I seen such a wide array of affordable furniture in one place. I picked up two bookcases, a wardrobe and a cabinet. Only while paying was I told that two of the items were discontinued and display models would be sent.


Though it was a let down, I accepted it because the display pieces were quite good and I also got a small discount for it. I was told that the items would be delivered on 14th October. In fact, they were delivered earlier (13th October). However one piece was missing and the delivery boy told that it would be delivered in a week


when the stock was expected.


The carpenter came and assembled it after 4 days, but his work was good and fast and I did not pay anything extra. Yesterday, the last piece was delivered (24th October) and it was assembled today (25th October) by the same carpenter.


Overall, It was a good experience and I am very happy with the products as the meet my requirements exactly in terms of size, usefulness and price. The staff at Housefull were good and helpful. The reason I am writing all this is because, while I was waiting for the delivery, I happened to read the reviews in MouthShut_Official and panicked.


REALLY panicked. However my wife calmed me down and told me that if the store was as bad as was written, surely they would not be still alive and advertising. She specifchandru021y forbade me to call up the store and


told me that it would come in its own time.


Anybody who wants value for money in furniture and is willing to wait for 3 weeks before it being available for use, please go to Housefull with confidence.Three things to remember -


1) Have faith and trust


2) be patient and


3) do not be obnoxious.


I have seen some of the young techie software engineers (yuppies) of Bangalore who have probably been on one or two trips abroad, behaving in extremely boorish and unacceptable manner.


Going through some of the reviews again, I can easily see how much they must have harassed the staff of Housefull and they definitely deserved what they got.

Nice Furniture,value for money but poor management

I have bought stuff from Housefull which have been really amazing . The cost is a lot cheaper compared to @home and hometown etc. Hometown has horrible products which look ugly and cost more.


Anyways, the delivery has been prompt in my case so far. I didnt have any issue with online booking or at store and luckily I didnt have issues for 2 years after purchasing the furniture.


The issue is with management. It's not streamlined and there are no SLAs. The company runs on the goodwill of few employees who probably will have ulcer with all the workload and scoldings from customers :


1) They use each others email IDs and the customer care email mentioned on their site doesn't work ( example , priyanka.shetty@ housfull.com was used by Jagruti after Priyanka left the job !)


2) There is no automated intimation on status of the complain or refund in my case and I had to call up some 1000 times on their STD Mumbai number. They don't raise complaint numbers, so you explain your issue over and over again.T


here is no ownership or process making anyone responsible for handling the complaints. It floats in the name of god and probably never gets resolved unless you are pushy and take it up to consumer court or find the numbers of managers by chance . I got the numbers of few people in consumer court forums and on the net and if they leave Housefull , I wont get money back! (Anand  - 8108151800) . Not mentioning the numbers of others as they were utter waste of time


Overall, in-spite of the issue with the customer support, I may shop here again for the products and the price. Be very careful though and get all right contacts before purchasing so that you don't have to chase the customer care.

Worst service ever… I got the parcel of the shoe rack, I ordered on the same day  evening. The carpenter was supposed to come in 15 days, no body turned up for 1 month, after calling again and again they said would come the following day.


I literary called 44 times but they did not answer my call. When I called from a different number, it was answered. When the carpenter came, the product was damaged, and he was happy to see that.  As he was in a hurry to go, he left all pieces in the way and just went away. After a week finally, I went to the store and lost my temper and asked them to take the product. They obviously said they were not allowed to.


Very poor service and quality.

Worst product I ever purchased

I have purchased the product in April 013. At the time of purchase, I was told that the furniture is termite proof and one can use it for 5 years. In September'13, I first contacted Housefull customer care for the issue that was not possible, as per sales guy.


My furniture got infected by fungus. They took 15 days to send the technician to look into the issue, that too after regular followup. By the time technician came, I had one more problem. My furniture got infected by TERMITE problem. He treated the issue. But guess what very next day, entire furniture got infected by FUNGUS again.


I have uploaded the picture after treatment. Its been more than a month and I am still experiencing the problem. Worst thing, all those termites is not affecting my entire home.


I am not sure, what shall, I do. I can not keep the furniture inside my house and I can not keep the furniture outside also. If anyone has any solution please let me know.


Please help to lodge a case against these ppl. Worst Service received from the company.

The house full furniture shop is a cheat.... All of us has experienced. It is my advice that let all of us get united and fill petition against it in the consumer court. I am willing to take all initiatives and i only want your support so that such people do not cheat other people in future.


Let we all come together and fight against this cheat. I am going to file a petition in consumer court.

I used online ordering on Houseful website and paid around 18k Rs for a cot and mattress. Immediately after ordering I read through Mouthshut.com reviews and decided to cancel the order. Since the Housefull website didn't have a way to cancel orders online (an e-commerce website without cancel option is ridiculous! ) I called up their customer care via phone exactly after 15 mins of placing an order.


When I mentioned that I wanted to cancel orders due to bad reviews , they refused to take my cancellation request. After blasting at them on phone, they said that they will contact their manager and then get back to me.


Pathetic customer care person who needs to talk to someone else to even note down a cancellation request.

They have delivered me a damaged sofa set, in past also they have delivered a damaged dining table and after that for one and half month they tortured like anything. I don't know what they will do now..I got trapped though I was having a bad experience in past also.


Never go for Housefull.

They have very attractive print ads & website. Every thing after that is a slide down! Extremely cheap quality material is used and furniture is very weak. If you have complaint, then you had it. You have to pay to get any correction! 12 months warranty is the biggest lie they tell.

Kindly take my advice seriously. Never ever buy anything from Houseful, Marthahalli, Bangalore.


I bought 5 products on 7th Sept, and store asked for full payment in advance. Their cheating started from thereon, when the delivery challan was made for a date of 3 days later. Eg. only on 10th Sept: Delivery Challan HDC No: 1022/2013/2814.


After that they gave a delivery date of 16th Sept. From 16th to 19th Sept, I made so many frantic calls to Housefull Bangalore, and they said, "Maal abhi tak Mumbai se nahin aaya." I am calling Mumbai office and they said they have already dispatched. So one hand doesn't know about the other in Houseful company. Or maybe they are simply fooling the customer.


After that panels (unassembled furniture) was dispatched at my flat on 19th. My issues have just started from thereon. The delivery people asked for bribe, I declined. The panel no K of 4 dor wardrobe is broken. So the most important item I bought was delivered in unusable state.


The carpenter comes 2-3 days late, with panels lying around in my house. By this time, I'm tired of following up with carpenters, as all this followup the customer has to do. Housefull will not co-ordinate anything for you.


The carpenter comes, and half the time he is on phone, shouting and fighting with other customers. He assembled only three items, one is obviously broken and does not assemble the mirror of the dresser, citing he doesn't has the required drill. I paid Rs 200 bribe to the carpenter.


My ordeal has not finished. The broken panel of wardrobe and dresser mirror lying on floor are still there at my flat. I am still following up with Housefull Mumbai office, and Bangalore office does not pick up the phone.


Once I was able to get through the Bangalore office no and the person in charge of Marthahalli office said that he is going for a tea break. After that he did not pick up my phone.


My sincere request is to not buy anything from Housefull as they are incompetent, cheats and fraud company. They have caused me lot of time and effort in last one month and I have bought lot of furniture from other stores before, but this is certainly one store I will never ever go in my lifetime again. Also pls share this post with your friends, so that they do not fall prey to this company.

I wanted to check Houseful even after such bad reviews here, I put myself in an embarrassing situation. I don't recommend anyone to Housefull because they are just awful. I ordered 3 products about 1 and half months back, they delivered 2 of them within 20 days which was way beyond their 14 days delivery time. One guy cam and assembled the products, from the day one I have a feeling that they are used products. I am pretty much sure they are. when I complained about that, they sent someone to polish and made it relatively new.


coming back to other product, they haven't delivered yet after 50 days, every time I call they will always say that my product will be delivered tomorrow. They don't even have an organized way of doing business, no one in the company knows their process. such pathetic bunch of people out there in Housefull.


It's not at all recommended because,




  1. They con you with advance payment considering they deliver the product after 14-15 days, which is relatively long time in an online business.




  2. they will deliver used products.




  3. Service PATHETIC.




  4. you may get it into a situation where in you will not get your products and they don't REFUND the money.






Beware of this con company, don't fall for such low prices on online, because its not WORTH IT.

Was really scared to buy stuff from Housefull after reading all the bad reviews coz of delay and defective products but still decided to give it a shot coz of the rates! Bought a king size metal bed 5 days back and was promised delivery on thursday but it got delivered on wednesday itself and was assembled the same day!  Was pleasantly surprised.the bed looks good and sturdy:)

I bought MYSTIQUE SOFA BROWN few months later (Spent aprrox 40k). The quality of product is not good. 3 seater sofa is not comfortable, it's very hard. On the time of delivery there were lots of minor cuts on sofa but I avoided. Now stitches of sofas are coming out and leather got cut near to stitches. No rough use of sofa very limited use even we don't have kids in our house.


TO REPAIR THAT SOFA NOW THESE GUYS ARE CHARGING 2500 FOR SINGLE SEATER. I AM VERY MUCH DISAPPOINTED... :(


GUYS PLEASE STAY AWAY DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.


Small furniture stores are much better than HOUSEFULL..


Worst ever experience in buying

I bought a Sofa and Queen Bed at house full.


On day that I have purchased these guys made me pay the whole amount by arguing with me that they can't commit the delivery without the whole amount. I paid it...


Delivery was delayed. Delivered sofa was torned at the corner and it was a 2+1 seater and 3 seater sofa was in a different color. [still the issue is not resolved and I am making calls for the last 10 days to get it done]


Daily I am getting calls from different people asking the color of the 3 seater that I want and my hall is looking like a mess with the other sofa...


I will never purchase anything from houseful and I recommend the same, based on my experience.
