Hotel Mid Way Inn, Sector 16, Gandhinagar

The hotel mid way lnn is great, location in good, Staff is very good, swimming pool is nice on the top floor, Rooms are quite spacious, food I have not tasted but have heard from friends that it is good. Wifi is free and the speed is great. Overall a great place with peace of mind and lots of space.

During my stay in Hotel mid way, an waiter named Ashok ( family name is Saini? ) gave me nice advice for the choice of very south Indian type of food ( like Uttapam, Aloo Pratha, Plane or Cheese Dosa) for buffet breakfast every morning and teach me those names, too. That makes every breakfast change to the part of exiting experience of my trip! Thank you, Ashok!

AMAZING 3 week stay from U.S. NGO with 100 studentsToday is my last night at mid way Hotel ( name changed recently, and I believe it's soon to be changed again? ) and I am so sad to be returning home! I am a staff member of a non-profit organization based in Massachusetts, USA. I traveled to Ahmedabad with 83 high school students who were completed a medical internship at two nearby hospitals. The hotel staff made our stay INCREDIBLE. Any hotel able to accommodate 94 people ( students and staff) during their 'off-season' has a 5 star rating from me. The food was amazing and they responded quickly when we suggested that our students may prefer certain dishes/options. They stocked our rooms with extra water bottles, knowing we couldn't drink outside water and would be spending our days in hot hospitals. They arranged a sound system and the appropriate cords to connect a Mac computer to a projector system so that our students could hold a movie and pizza night when they were feeling homesick-they even had staff on deck to help distribute and clean up the pizza. The head manager generously offered myself and the other program director complimentary massages upon arrival. They frequently arranged meeting spaces for our students at the last minute ( even while they were hosting large weddings each weekend, they made room for us to meet! ). Ashok and Amit in the restaurant are amazing, but really everyone is. The rooms are clean with beautiful views. Laundry service is quick and cheap. The gym is well maintained. The rooftop pool has incredible views and good food. The hotel itself is great, but our experience was truly made by the great staff. We will definitely be using mid way Hotel for future programs!
