If you are looking for pure vegetarian wine and dine at a reasonable price in Powai Hiranandani area, then restaurant "Laxmi, the Veg kitchen" is the perfect choice for you.

Located in front of IIT Mumbai campus, Laxmi offers great variety of north Indian food.  In ground floor, only food is served where as on first floor, it serves food and liquor, both.

Because of great food and reasonable price, it remains pretty much crowded over the  weekends as well.

I went to this restaurant on a Friday night with my friends and had to wait for almost 30 mins for our turn.  However, 30 mins wait did not get on to my nerves when I had the first bite of "Paneer  Dilliwala". If you have a chance to go there, please try it.

The restaurant is unique in itself as it offers liquor with vegetarian food. Also, it accepts payment through sodexo coupons, making it a lot more favourable for the IT guys.
