Hotel Laxmi Next, Powai, Mumbai has staff who will try to sell the food to you. We didn't really want wine, but they said that they have a very tasty flavored wine, so we decided to try it. It had water mixed in it and was really expensive.

This restaurant serves food that is very extreme in its portion sizes and that is generally not suited for groups that visit here in the count of 4 to 5 people. As a result apart from filling dishes, too large serving sizes leads to food wastage.

This is the only south indian restaurant in Powai I found when I first came to Mumbai. The taste of south Indian dishes is authentic. I mostly prefer to have south Indian breakfast at Laxmi. Rava dosa is my favorite. They also have a AC and non AC seating. If you want to have a family dinner, you can opt for the AC seating which is better in ambiance compared to non AC. Otherwise, they have a seating in the open place before the restaurant, which is amazing at night. Overall its a good place to visit once in a while.

I have been eating and ordering for home delivery regularly from this place. While the taste and quality of food have been consistent, the delivery timings are getting longer and longer.

Today(Saturday) early morning, it took more than an hour(in fact 70 minutes) for my order of dosas to reach home. My home is at 5-7 minutes distance from the main gate of IIT which is about 5 minutes from the restaurant. Even taking the signal timing in the account, it should not take more than 45 minutes for an order to reach home. It was a Saturday morning which does not see so much traffic. After all, pizzas from further places reach within 45-50 minutes in the evening rush timing.

After they were questioned about the delay, the answer was that they are too busy on Saturday-Sunday. What was left unsaid(and was not denied when I said it) that they do not need home delivery orders on those days as their business was going so well.

It is a pity that a reasonable restaurant serving vegetarian food in the vicinity of IIT has turned like this. It is a time we explore other options!

Just 2 days before I went to this hotel, this hotel service is good and this hotel is mostly full at the time after 7 o clock,

food available here is good as per the rate, hotel is not that big but like a regular restaurant, on ground floor there is a basic restaurant and on first floor its a bar,

pav bhaji of this hotel is very good, chineese food is very bad over here so dont try,

just eat south indian food here, from chineese category eat only manchow soup rest items are not that tasty,

its an air conditioned hotel, nice hotel to visit

Located right in front of the IIT main gate and easily spottable on the JVLR,

This place has been the house of regular customers for over a decade that vary from IIT students looking for cheap eats and drinks to the IT guys working in Powai and looking for a little lack-lusture affect on the pocket. The place is the run of the mill standard Mumbai lunch house that are spread across but still maintains a great standard in their food served.

The place opens up early and is open almost all the time. have seen them taking last orders for 2 hrs between 12-2 AM:). The location is not ideal in case you are looking for parking near-by but hard to miss as is centrally located. Has seperate sections for family and drinking, the food spreads across Indian, Punjabi, Maharastrian, Chinese, South Indian and a variety of snacks and some innovations that will be great at the price they come.

PS: This is a pure veg place, and yes Egg is counted in Non-veg here and thus not served.

The staff is very professional and the service time/quality is just magic. Be selective on the food that you order, quantities are going to be a major headache with leftovers as they are very generous when it comes to serving. With a variety to offer in terms of the dishes, the place also stocks snacks from all the variations and juice station that can shop anything in less than 5 mins to ur table of placing the order. Have been to this place at the busiest hours and it can get loud but then what else do you expect from the place that is becoming a legacy in a way.

It is one of the very few greatvrestaurant's powai has. It's a hub for yummy food for all the powaite's. You will always find this place busy especially on weekends where you could have to wait to get a table. It's a pure vegetarian restaurant but don't count it less, you will be amazed at the number of dishes they have on the menu. Be rest assured to be served best food will be at ever best prices. Do try the north Indian dishes here.

The Laxmi Hotel is pure vegetarian located IIT Main gate, Powai.Every sunday I visited this hotel with my friends for Breakfast and lunch.

Im not veggie lover but rather the sustanance in this spot is totally divine.I always ordered pav bhaji and masala tea because of taste was mind blowing and not so such high cost.

We were taken table straight away.The administration in this hotel is so good and they give service very well.Whenever we visited this place I feel very nice.Good place for friends circle and couples.
