Avoid this place if you can
Sep 21, 2006 08:21 PM 1914 Views

I ended up in this hotel, as I had to stay close to Infantry road on my last trip to Bangalore. But I'd advise everyone to avoid this place if you can. I booked the hotel through expedia.com, which the hotel strangely denied when asked and billed me at their normal rate instead of rate offered at expedia.com. The room looked terrible at first glance. I felt a renovation was long overdue and had no idea why the room was still in business.

After a long flight earlier in the day I was hoping to get some sleep. Thanks to the noisy staffs of the hotel and poor quality sound proofing of the rooms. I struggled to get some sleep till 1:00AM in the morning hearing staffs of the hotel chatting among themselves in loud voice downstairs. Waking up was quite easy, the room did not have an alarm clock, but staffs of the hotel were awake early in the morning finishing their morning chat at 5:00AM. By the way, the mattress was “the” toughest I have ever slept in my life.

I ended up in this hotel being less informed and new to the city (well I was relying on expedia who promised best hotels only) and I had to stay close to Infantry road. If you do not have any of these constraints find a better place to spend $110+ for the night.
