Hotel Holiday Inn Vihar, Araku Valley

I visited this hotel around 3 months back as I had some of my holidays pending at my workplace. Me and my friends visited this place.

We went there to have confortabke life as it is far away from city.so it will be quiet and peaceful. Hotel Holiday Inn Vihar is located at Araku Main road, near ITI, Araku Valley.

Plus points:

Big campus.

Campus is well maintained.

Good greenery

Negative points:

No hot water regularity in rooms

It was long procesure to check this plalce

Plus it is far from city

I really dint find this place economical… A/C room was 3000 and A/C suite was 3500

There was arrangement foe eating within campus. but more than half og item were not available in menu.

Food was really excepnsive on comparison with food quality.

Recommendation:

Not a suitable place for friends and family hang out.

I stayed in this hotel on Last Sankarati Holidays(Jan 2016)

Overall experience is not very good for stated reasons:

1. Check in was very tough.

   
   




2. Language problem as person at reception does not understand english(or Hindi)

   
   




3. Payment issue delayed by check in by 2 hours

   
   




4. Communication is big issue, during stay also.

   
   




5. Rooms are very ordinary

   
   




6. No restaurant facility. The one available in premises is non-functional.

   
   




7. Even for tea, you need to take your car and visit near by market.

   
   

I would suggest folks, not to book this hotel through makemytrip.com as it creates hell lot of issues during check in, even you have paid the entire money upfront.
