I read all comments here and agree with all who are facing problems. I need to change some parts and I logged complaint before 3 months but still they are not able to solve my problem and giving reply like your part has been dispatched from Hyderabad and banglore etc. In such a scenario of fast dispatching is 3 months are reasonable? I started using Hitachi Freez as Hitachi Cup board.

Worse ever service center i have registered a complaint of refrigerator since a week and a technician came and could not resolve it and said i’ll send a senior since then nobody has come yet and even worse is the customer care people who doesn’t respond well ! Highly dissatisfied
Purchased in 2023 and now:
replaced gas
mother board has conked
compressor has stopped working
Service guys give any illogical theories for issues!!
Will never recommend Hitachi refrigerators.

The product is good but their after sales service in Pune is worst ever. Their service managers work from home and dont bother to answer customer calls as they seem too busy with their families. If you call them more than once then they give you a warning . Hitachi is loosing its image because of such bad service. Please improve
The fridge is just 2 year old and the mother board of the fridge is completely spoiled and had to be replaced. The complaint had been registered almost 17 days back and yet the new mother board is not been received and the advance for the same is also given.. the service provided is highly poor . The technicians as well as the customer service people are always and completely unaware about the spare parts. Sad to know that such a good brand has such poor after service.
I bought the Hitachi refrigerator about 6 months ago. Hitachi refrigerators have very good colours and designs. It is very convenient to use. Its features are quite good and can be easily understood by anyone. It is quite easy for everyone to use. Due to the wheels in this refrigerator, it is quite easy to move the refrigerator from one place to another.
But after the passage of 6 months, problems arose in this refrigerator. At first, its handle was broken. After this, water started flowing from below. Due to this the lower part of the refrigerator rusted. After some time the ice in the refrigerator stopped freezing. After this, we called the customer care. The phone number that was given to us in customer care. That phone number was not working.
After this, we somehow located the service centre through the Internet. Went there and complained. After this, no mechanic came from there for 5 days. After this, after complaining again, the mechanic came with great difficulty. Who did not understand what was the problem with the refrigerator? Their staff is inexperienced. Within a month, three mechanics came but no one could understand the problem of the refrigerator. After this, the compressor was changed. But after some time the same problem came again. Now this fridge is lying in the junk of my house. Now I have sworn that I will not buy anything from this bad company.

We brought a double door hitachi from Kohinoor mulund in 2021 and it was sold with a lot of promises but it started giving trouble from the start.
Now we are in 2023 barely 2.5 years of usage and the compressor needs to be replaced. I have had multiple refrigerators and never had to replace the compressor before 10 year os usage. Their customer service is with the attitude “take it or leave it “ no solution giving mindset. Will never buy hitachi products again or recommend it to anyone.
Bought Hitachi fridge in 2016 and it started giving from 1st year of purchase. From dripping water to No cooling every few months. Hitachi authorised service technicians based in West Delhi are not able to solve it. I do not know why hitachi assigns complaints to them every time despite so many issues. Every time have to pay heavy visiting charges, part change and gas refilling charges beside spoilage of stored food items. Really regret the decision to buy Hitachi.

I purchased a Hitachi 466 litre Double door refrigerator few years back from Croma at Secundrabad, I was given assurance from Croma team that they would get all issues fixed within 24-48 hours. My fridge brokedown almost 25 days back on 17th June 2023, I registered a complaint with ticket number 23061908366 and I am still waiting for Hitachi team to fix the fridge(10th July 2023). Hitachi India Customer service number(+91-756788xxxx) is not functional and entire team is inefficient in resolving customer issues. I am shocked to see Hitachi selling products by providing such service. I had to go to Croma store multiple times seeking help, but they all are equally hopeless and helpless. I managed to get the number of Hitachi service manager(MR Sarvanan - Mob - 888695xxxx), he is one of the most inefficient and irresponsible customer service in-charge I ever dealt with, I have been talking to him for almost 3 weeks, He does not have control on the technicians, suppliers or the situations happening at Hitachi. I will NEVER PURCHASE any product from Hitachi in my life again and will recommend the readers of this review to avoid buying electronics from Hitachi.
Hitachi refrigerator are the worst. The company only sells junk material in India. Company is lead by a equally incompetent and unprofessional MD Bharat Kaushal who is completely indifferent to customer complaints, the company is unable to provide timely service
Awful, terrible, the worst service and no support from hitachi despite several calls and e-mails.
The service people suggested by Hitachi at S A Aircon cheated me of 18500/- on the pretext of ordering a part. Never brought the part and refused to return the money. Reported to Hitachi. They keep giving empty promises to get my money back but don’t do anything. I have a broken refrigerator in this hot weather for 2 months now.
To top it all when I called for service they assigned a person from S A Aircon again instead of blacklisting the company!

I bought an Hitachi Fridge Freezer 12 years...It has been moved a few times...'Never missed a Beat' absolutely Great Fridge Freezer...
We have bought Hitachi refrigerator - 2 Door Bottom Freezer with capacity of 525 L 3 years back. The freezer stopped working and when we complaint, the engineer visited and taken visit charges but not fixed the problem saying the parts are not available and as soon as they do, they will fix the problem.
After 3-4 days we received a call from service center saying that parts are now available and a service engineer will come tomorrow to fix. Next day no one comes. Then I get a call from some random engineer and he says the parts are not available in the center, but he has them and can fix on personal basis. I refused and said that I would get that fixed from the company
Since then we are chasing the center and they do not resolve the problem. No one visiting and every time they say someone will come, but nothing happens. Its been 11 days and all we are doing is.chasing the company. They have stopped picking our calls now
Don't know what to do, so writing the review at least to make people aware how they cheat
We are charged about 5000 Rs. to repair our new refrigerator of HITACHI which doesn't fall in any warranty. We regret to say that this company sucks for any appliances and would never recommend to buy any of their products. Again and again, it breakdown and they ask us to pay charges for everything. The compressor comes with warranty but the gas that it requires will be chargeable. I mean it is not even 2 years that we purchased it and they ask so much amount of money just to fill their pockets with such downgraded quality.
Terrible refrigerators. Please don't buy. Not effective in India. Since the day we bought it there have been leakage issues and cooling issues
Don't buy a machine from a company to which it can't repair itself.After spending Rs 7000 to service centre no results.Now i am selling it in 1000 bugs refrigerator i bought in 44000.A part from wasting money a lot of time spent on
dealing with gutter company (Hitachi).

HITACHI is a bogus company, the contact nos. of their company in aerocity New Delhi are bogus.
This company should be banned from conducting business in India.
