I have a 1987 model Mark IV Petrol Ambassador which was owned my mother. Its Igntion distributor makes problems frequently. It is seen in internet that Electronic ignition distributor unit imported from US along with imported ignition Coil have solved problems of Indian make conventional distributor in Kerala with registration starting with KLB. Anybody knowing these items may please intimate me or give suitable remedies.

Yes. A petrol model. Slow speed. Can safely cruise 50- 65 kmph safely. Non- A/c; hence difficult for whom travelled earlier in A/c Cars. Scarcity of spare parts. Quality of available spare parts not good. No power steering, hence difficult for ladies to drive.
