I would like to raise a complain towards HDFC LIFE for application no 27021666. When I availed the policy they informed me i have to pay for 05 Years.


Now, they are telling me i have to pay for 10 Years. Sales agent told me that the call which i have received is a FAKE call and can be ignored. Now even in policy documents it says 10 years.


I want my complete refund. Also the sales agent is not answering my calls. Please assist.

HDFC LIFE has one of the most disappointing policies due to the deceptive practices of their agents from FINWAZARD TECHNOLOGY PVT LTD. They lure people into buying policies by offering fake incentives. It is strongly advised to exercise caution before purchasing any policies from them.


Here are a couple of concerning aspects of their policies:


HDFC Home loan interest rates are claimed to be reduced to 5% for Home Loan & 5.5% for top-up loans.


The total maturity amount of 19, 12, 532 INR was promised by a fraudulent agent named Balaji(contact numbers: 9042084416, 8939720262). However, the official document sent from HDFC states the maturity amount as 11, 43, 000 INR, which is entirely non-guaranteed.


Upon questioning this agent, he tried to justify the difference by saying that the 11L+ 7L(insured amount) would sum up to 19L, but it turned out to be a deceitful manipulation.


Please be wary of such individuals and thoroughly review any policy offers before making a decision.

I face trouble with HDFC Life every other day in form of unclosed Service request(unclosed from several days),


Too many follow-ups required.


Service requests fulfilled but not closed for 1 time upto 11 days.


Backend processes are very bad, slow and killing.


I got to know the backend keeps collection records in Excel.


I am chasing for correction in payment status 1 policy since March 2019, and still no closure seems in horizon.

I was mis-sold a pension policy by my so called'relationship manager'. He and his boss were continually after me to buy this policy and quoting it's numerous(non-existent) benefits.


They would have obviously known that this policy was not for me, but they wanted their commission and promotion. They were ONLY thinking about how THEY will benefit.


They are snakes, lying snakes. Be AWARE.


I have lost lakhs of Rupees in interest when my premium was locked in to the policy. After fighting bitterly with these self-centered cheats, I got my premiums back.


Once they sold me the pension plan, they were totally uncaring, especially the person who sold it to me.


I had to escalate multiple times, my health suffered and I was in very bad shape.


Stay away from these cheats; it's a third-rate company or even much worse.

Pathetic customer service


It's been 10 days I have sent a query on email to HDFCLIFE from my registered email ID.


No response in 10 days, even after 2 reminders!!!


I would suggest people to stay away from this life insurance company


I will never recommends any one to HDFC Life

Dear All My Friends and all who Read This Review First of all I would like to Advise that Never buy and Policy from HDFC Bank, HDFC Ergo and HDFC Life Insurance. There very Big Cheaters. One Years ago I have Purchase a HDFC Life Insurance Policy from one of the Delhi HDFC Bank Branch. Last Month During my Policy Validity I am Claims of Rupees 25000/- Thousand, Which is for my Dad Treatments. At the time of Policy Claims My Policy Validity is Remaining 27th Days. That Means my policy is Active, But After Successfully submitted all policy documents there inform me for the claims it will take 7th Working Days so and so, After 7th Days I am not Received any Response from HDFC Life Insurance Company then I called there customer care no, Again of the Customer care Executive told me Policy Claims is under process and again that Customer care Executive told me it will take more 15th Days. After 15th Days also I am not Received any response then. Again I call to HDFC Bank Life Insurance Customer care again some one Customer care Executive is attend my call and I am expand him about all my Policy Claims problems, so that time that Customer care Executive has register my complaints and again he said to resolve my complaints it will take more 10th Working Days. But all this process there taking total 32 days, After 32 Days some calling from HFDC Bank Life Insurance Departments and his said your policy is Expired and he said your claims is not approve because of policy is expired. Finally HDFC Bank Life insurance company has not claims my amount of rupees 25000/- Thousand so I will never recommends any one to buy any HDFC Policy.

HDFC LIFE online policy...worst experience ever

Recently I was looking for taking an online Term policy. ended up with Easy Policy website. One of the sales people called me and was explaining me about the option and she was talking high of HDFC life "Click2protect" as right policy for me. Logically it sounded agreeable. I made my online payment.


It took 1 week asking for the documents. Had to undergo medical check for this which appointment to be made through HDFC Life insurance.


After two weeks of time they fixed for an appointment with a scan center in our area. Easy policy guy told me it would be half an hour test. I was not told what are the medical tests involved. After 12 hours of fasting, I went the next morning(it was a week day as I thought just half an hour than I can go to office). At the medical center they told there are many tests, some before food and some after. They took my blook sample. xray and urine sample and asked me to visit the place 1.5 hours after taking food. In about 30 minutes person from medical centre calls and says the insurance company Tie up with the centre is not finalised yet and so I don't have to come for the test and talk to the provider.


After a heated discussion, I left with no other choise than going back to insurance. I wrote a mail to support on the incident and about my frustration. Formal auto reply came stating will get back in 48 hours. Somebody tried calling once after two days, I was talking on my phone. They did not even try again. sent email stating we tried calling but could not reach. I REALLY DONT GET THAT. FOR MAKING A SALE THEY CALLED SO MANY TIMES. BUT TO HEAR GRIEVANCE THEY DID NOT EVEN TRY TWICE JUST BECAUSE LINE BUSY? ARE WE SUPPOSED TO HAVE A SEPARATE LINE ALWAYS FREE FOR THEM TO CALL?


After two days. guy called from insurance and fixed appointment with same centre. I was asking if you are sure that I should go to the same centre and was the tie up is all done? He said will confirm and call back in 30 mins. He called me in 10 mins.said its confirmed and sent email on appointment confirmation.(This time I insisted to have done on weekend - Sunday). Sunday morning(again after 12 hours of fasting) went to the centre, they bounced back with same reason. No Tie Up finalised yet with the provider.


WTF .! Planning to cancel my policy and ask for refund.


BIGGEST WORRY IS. SO MUCH OF PAIN TO TAKE THE POLICY. HOW WILL THESE PEOPLE COVER IN TIME OF RISK(I AM TALKING ABOUT TERM POLICY. WHERE THE COVERAGE IS ONLY WHEN I AM NOT ALIVE).


Forgot to mention that policy take through Easy policy. but started getting calls and emails from Policy Bazaar asking for submission of documents and medical check.! When Easy policy guys called. I told them. they requested to ignore those calls and emails. they get the detail of policy takers some how and reach out like this. I WARN.REQUEST.ALARM PEOPLE NEVER GO FOR HDFC Life for online policy.

Aware of Fake calls from hdfd insurance

Guys, I received a call from hdfc life insurance company.In short they offered me loan against policy.


they say they give me 3 lakh rs loan if I buy policy of 3 lakh so first I have to pay 30000 to them and after one month they will transfer 27000 in my account.if it is this is very good plan.but then they tell an executive will come your home and you have to sign the policy I said I will go to bank and will buy the policy for which they replied then we are not sure your loan will pass or not. so this is fake promise to get policies once if we have paid 30000 we will not get anything and to save the policy we will have to pay 30000 every time on the date of policy. so be aware of such fraud calls


Cheat salesmen , non responsive CEO

The salesman named Dhaval Shah promised critical illness rider by putting for a review after a month, fully knowing that customer cannot overide look in period after a month .


The management, including the CEO Mr Puri never replied to numerous mails .


Have not seen such an irresponsive company that openly encourages cheating by its employees .


The CEO is a simply not reachable and customer care absolutely non-emphatetic .


To top all these, after several years, when I contacted another incharge called Manmath, he laughed and asked why I did not surrender the policy so far .

The policy agent of hdfc life insurance company has cheated and misguide us by telling us the benifits such as discount in monthly emi of car and personal loans and special credit card with lot of benefits . that we will get by taking the insurance plan . And they didnt provide any benefit . And now the agent is not replying our call . We are very unsatisfied
