Its total waste of money, it just a fraud company which eat people hard earned money. I was its regular costomer since last 2 yours, I havant claim my policy, as by the grace of God everything going well, but in May 2024 my wife hospitalize and I claim my policy, and after 3 months of harrassing me by asking same documents they rejected my claim, by saying they are not satisfied by the hospital report. if you are not satisfied with your panel hospital, why should its on your panel. overall it just a fraud company and fraud policy. I advice you to stay away with this fraud company.
No other service company can be worse than HDFC ERGO.... Customers please do not waste your hard earned money with this company.I raised and issue with the here app on 24th July and till date they don't have a clue how to resolve the issue. Pls note that I have written to their 1st and 2nd level of grievance too without receiving even a single acknowledgement. Today I have written to Ombudsman however I am not expecting anything from him too looking at the services being given by their departments. The team is not technically trained to solve anything and the Here application is the worst in existence. With this kind of service I decided to cancel my health policy which I had taken in the month is March this year.Bearing cancellation charges is my last concern at this point i just want to be done with anything to do with this pathetic company. They charge more as compared to other companies like Acko, but give 0 service, not even customer care. All they are concerned about us taking the customer's money but do not provide any service.I'm 38 years old and I have never come across a more pathetic company than this.
I would like to request people not to waste your hard earned money in helping this company grow as they don't deserve your business.I m attaching the images from my repeated emails to Hdfc ergo without getting a single response or any help for my issue (This is my ticket no 088-013-411)

The guys don't respond to your query. Please do not trust. I have suffered dealing with a height of idiots of such a repute as on 28th July 2024. Unfortunate we are. You never know the MoU. I wanted to port my existing health insurance policy to HDFC Ergo for a higher coverage and added network hospitals.I submitted my previous policy where it was stated that I am diabetic.Additionally I gave the details of all medications both my wife and myself were following.Knowing our existing medications, they issued a proposal and I paid Rs 167573.00 .Even they did tele verification.After 10 days, they rejected the proposal saying that I am diabetic?.Don't ever go with HDFC Ergo

Worst Company. Never Go for it. The staff is too rude and never settle your claim and will give you illogical reasons for rejecting the claim and mentally harassed you.
Hi Everyone I'm speaking about the truth about HDFC ergo general insurance company they lying or promising about benefits feature but actual real face they will show at time of claim applied I have applied claim for cashless regarding about dental treatment my plan Optima-secure 10lacs SI they have rejected as reason hospitalised could be be establish then I have taken treatment from sabka dentiest & applied for reimbursement for claim paid so claim applied with attached all documents bills /prescriptions/reports & other supporting documents they cheater peoples without investigate any documents directly rejected gave as reason OPD treatment is not covered an optima-secure have mentioned dental treatment is covered upto SI amount HDFC ergo peoples are making money only they have non-sense reasons for rejection or they didn't gave any claim amount so people I want to close this company as soon as possible please don't purchase any plan from this cheater/fraud company they only playing with your emotion not give single one rupees .Support me those who are looking HDFC ergo plan purchasing & their claim settlement ratio 98% only fake ratio don't believe the guys.
I am paying premium since more than 15 years, claimed reimbursement as my wife got admitted in a Hospital.
They rejected without specifying and when called to customer care they said hospital was. It on panel

Totally worthless and fake insurance company. I have kidney failure which is covered under critical illness lumsump benefits of 1 lac as per policy. First of all they make delay for 3 months to make sure to survive of patient. And now After submitting all necessary documents - Doctors consultation, sonography, diagnosis paper, dialysis report, medicine bills, doctor degree certificate. Still they are not ready to process claim and raise query for asking same thing again and again by denying claim settlement. They asking same report in different format which is no one doctor ready to entertain. They are not concerned with critical illness of customer.

Never take insurance from HDFC ERGO they are not giving claim and making lame excuses and settle very less amount so there settlement ratio can be maintained never go with this insurance if you buy this you will regret thank me later.
I tried to buy new health insurance for family and they rejected. Honestly mentioned about existing minor health issues of one of the family member and immediately they rejected the insurance for that family member and said that they will issue insurance only to the healthy person. In the insurance terms they say that existing issues will be covered after 36 months of policy active date and that is fine and we are ok for that clause. But still they reject the new policy itself. This shows that they HDFC health insurance is to just to make money . They want to given insurance only to healthy person because they know that healthy person won't claim.
Here is the simple trick they follow to loot money
If you mention your existing health conditions(even minor) they during policy buying term they will reject the policy
If you don't mention now and try to claim an insurance then they will deny the claim saying its an existing condition
if you find any new health issue when policy is active then they won't renew it for subsequent years.
Basically their agenda is to sell insurance to healthy people and reject the claims.
I hold an HDFC ergo health insurance policy, 2 weeks before the due date i started receiving calls almost 5 times a day asking for premium payment, on the very 1st call i mentioned that i will make the payment 1 day prior however i kept receiving calls and telecaller is rude, abusive and threatening me of cancelling the policy even when 1 week is pending for my renewal. This is the level of service when they have to collect money, cant even imagine what will they do if ever i have to claim the health insurance. Thanks the the telecallers i have decided to NOT renew my policy with HDFC. I hold almost all products of HDFC be it housing loan, term insurance, savings & current account, thanks to their service and telecallers i am slowly going to switch all of it to some other bank.
Worst worst worst company....please don't take hdfcergo ...they are just to trouble the patient...they are ruthless...insurance is of 4 lack

I purchased the policy with high hopes but when I claimed, they harassed me mentally so much for about 6 months and yet my claim is not settled even after submitting all the verified documents a number of times. Its so depressing such companies make fool of us during hard times.
I got my revolt bike insured through this company. On 06 Oct 23 I met with an minor.accident where in the bike was little damaged. I took my bike to microcell revolt on 08 Oct 2023 for further repair and raised the claim on 10 Oct 23. I got the partially repaired bike from the servicing center on 02 Dec 23
. Since there was no cashless facility I had to pay the full money amounting to Rs 21825/-. However, till date (22-12-23) I am waiting. And when ever I call the customer care they will say I am sorry for the delay and nothing's happens.... I would never recommend anyone to purchase insurance police from this company
I made the payment for the insurance, and my money was debited by the website crashed and my policy was not issued.
I have undergone a day care procedure recently and my reimbursement claim experience has been horrible and here is the story.
> On Nov 1st I underwent the procedure and wrote to HDFC Ergo whether I can claim this amount and there was no response even after three days.
> I have tried to submit the online claim through their website and after entering all the details spending 30 minutes there is an error at the end and the submission fails. This happened multiple times so I gave up and called the customer service.

> I called the customer service once again and informed the same, the customer service is the dumbest people I ever spoke, they don't even understand what you saying, they say that they didn't receive my emails at their end and when I ask them is there any other way I can share the attachments apart from my email they say email it from your Registered email ID while they just confirmed that the mails I have send from my registered email ID not received at their end! what kind of dumb customer service executives they have!

INSTEAD OF BUYING HDFC ERGO YOU BETTER BUY SOME CRACKERS AND BURN THEM.
Their service is really bad. Claim settlement also takes lot of time.
We waited about 2 days for pre approve while we are in the hospital.
