Extremly poor service , even the escalation goes to the CEO desk and no one cares, don’t even read the problem properly and provide generic responses. Not at all prompt, no phone contact , lack of comittment, says something at the time of fetching money and when it comes to service no support.

Surveyor is fraud. They just adamant to reduce your claim amount. Never buy this product. I have taken insurance of HDFC ergo under tie up of Maruti.my car right hand side got damaged in accident. But surveyor passed only front RHS. Even I shown him accident site and it was clearly proven that car damaged here. I suggest you never go for HDFC ergo

They dont settle ur claims, where ever u pay or how much ever insurance amount you pay, maximum 50 to 70% claim, remaining you need to pay. surveyors are rude and purely fraud. Never go for hdfc ergo insurance

I am Rupali Jain, holding a car insurance policy with HDFC Ergo. My policy number is 2302205961112800000, and my vehicle is a Wagon R with registration number DL9CAR0895. I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the handling of my recent insurance claim.


My car met with an accident, sustaining significant front-end damage. Following the incident, I submitted my vehicle to Mayapuri DD Motor Bodyshop on Monday(09.12.2024) for necessary repairs. Upon follow-up, I learned that Mr. Trilok, the assigned surveyor(contact number: 730451xxxx), indicated that my claim would not be fully approved, specifically mentioning that expenses for the radiator and condenser would not be covered.


This response is both surprising and disappointing, given that my insurance policy is zero depreciation with bumper-to-bumper coverage. As a responsible policyholder, I have fulfilled all policy obligations and expect comprehensive coverage as promised. The entire purpose of having insurance is to be financially protected during such unforeseen incidents.


Denying parts of my legitimate claim seems unjustified and goes against the terms outlined in my policy. If this issue is not resolved promptly and fairly, I will be compelled to escalate the matter through legal channels, including lodging a formal complaint with the insurance regulatory authority. Additionally, I will share my experience on social media platforms to inform other policyholders.


I trust that HDFC Ergo values its customers and will take immediate action to address my concern. Kindly review my claim number C230024450671 urgently and approve the full settlement in accordance with my policy coverage.


I look forward to a prompt resolution and clear communication regarding the same.

The surveyor of hdfc ergo are fraud. They just disapprove your claim without justifying it when asked questions they simply don't respond. On the website it says 100 percent claim settlement but in really they are simply cheater. I thought of filing case against them but who will do all the followup. We are common people who can't afford fighting with them. I tried my level best to escalate the issue but now helpless at the moment. Inspite of affidavit and providing evidence they simply rejected my requested claim. If there's any way I can still escalate against them then let me know plz. I have been following up for my claim since couple of weeks now.

I found HDFC ERGO the worst insurance company after my experience with it and other top companies. In the case of the claim process and claim approvals, I think they are showing a fake approval ratio. The attitude of the employees is that they don't respect their customers. They deny the claim without proper reason. It also took more than a week in denial also. DONT BUY

I am using Hdfc ergo insurance last 3 years.


This month I claimed my car insurance.claim amount is ₹72000.But credited only ₹62000 only. Hdfc ergo people saying this balance ₹10000 is GST amount.this amount will be credited after one month time.


What is the foolish rule is this?


My car still in garage Work finished last week.


I waiting one month for this rule.


Before taking insurance nobody inform this also.

I had purchsed HDFC ergo optima secure in Aug 2021. Till now i.e Sep 2024 there was no claim being made as there was no need for it. Recently I had Severe Loose motions( Diarrhea) and did not find network hospital with physician to get admitted for the treatment. Hence I thought I will admit and claim the reimbursement. Since doctor felt I could be discharged after 20 hours of Hospitalization. I got discharged next day. After applying for Reimbursement, Claim is rejected as they say it doesn't fall in Hospitalization as it is not more than 24 hrs, I tried convincing that they can consider as Daycare and disburse and they are adamant to cancel my reimbursement. After paying my Instalments regularly, I came to know any treatment below 24 hrs is not considered and What other excuses these people will give for tretments above 24 hrs. While purchasing policy they say everything is covered and this is the outcome. I have attached the feedback from them. Learnt lesson from these crooks

I got scratch on both the left doors and some scratches on right side and headlight. I contacted Sai Service and they contacted HDFC Ergo. HDFC Ergo Surveyor Amit Shukla refused the right side scratches stating I cannot claim it. I am trying to get hold of Mr Milton and Mr Nisar, both from HDFC Ergo but they are not answering calls. Pathetic service from HDFC Ergo. They don't take service seriously. Don't go for HDFC Ergo Insurance.

Worst experience about HDFC ERGO health insurance which I faced on 29th August 2024. My son's claim rejected.


He was admitted in Kauvery hospital, Bangalore for road accident. They rejected due to non disclosure of diabetes. Initially they told it will not be a


matter. Accident is not related with diabetes. Moreover after four year continuation it doesn't arise. They should test in their or any lab about


blood sugar and other tests at the time of opening Insurance scheme. Don't rely on this insurance company. Hate it.

Its total waste of money, it just a fraud company which eat people hard earned money. I was its regular costomer since last 2 yours, I havant claim my policy, as by the grace of God everything going well, but in May 2024 my wife hospitalize and I claim my policy, and after 3 months of harrassing me by asking same documents they rejected my claim, by saying they are not satisfied by the hospital report. if you are not satisfied with your panel hospital, why should its on your panel. overall it just a fraud company and fraud policy. I advice you to stay away with this fraud company.

No other service company can be worse than HDFC ERGO.... Customers please do not waste your hard earned money with this company.I raised and issue with the here app on 24th July and till date they don't have a clue how to resolve the issue. Pls note that I have written to their 1st and 2nd level of grievance too without receiving even a single acknowledgement. Today I have written to Ombudsman however I am not expecting anything from him too looking at the services being given by their departments. The team is not technically trained to solve anything and the Here application is the worst in existence. With this kind of service I decided to cancel my health policy which I had taken in the month is March this year.Bearing cancellation charges is my last concern at this point i just want to be done with anything to do with this pathetic company. They charge more as compared to other companies like Acko, but give 0 service, not even customer care. All they are concerned about us taking the customer's money but do not provide any service.I'm 38 years old and I have never come across a more pathetic company than this.


I would like to request people not to waste your hard earned money in helping this company grow as they don't deserve your business.I m attaching the images from my repeated emails to Hdfc ergo without getting a single response or any help for my issue (This is my ticket no 088-013-411)

The guys don't respond to your query. Please do not trust. I have suffered dealing with a height of idiots of such a repute as on 28th July 2024. Unfortunate we are. You never know the MoU. These buggers have ruined my peace of mind. Irony is, , , they don't respond. Please refer to the attachment. I have a "policy" with no capping on room rent See, what their experts believe.
