I have been using there credit card for quite some time and have seen my reward points grow as I continue to make purchases using their credit card.
Once the points grew to a sizeable amount, I tried redeeming that only to know that my points are all gone!
When I called the customer care with my issue they updated me that Sir you are our esteem customer and because of that the back end team has upgraded your card.
Which is good but the fallback is that once they upgrade your card they take away all your earned reward points from your previous card in use and then give you back only 43% of your reward point in the new card.
I tried to investigate on why they are doing this, only to find out that their is a very slight difference on the point value for the upgraded card.
But because of this on their will they will take 53% of your reward points!
Which is like 50% loss at least if not more. And that is how they mint money by fooling their customers by a gimmick of card upgrade.
Its nothing but utter cheating their loyal customers and the fact is that most of us skip noticing this and they hit jackpot.
I urge the customers to stop falling prey to this bank promising lucrative point schemes and find ways to deceive point repayment in full.
